thanks for the video boss just ordered some for my nissan maxima 2014 , i unfortunately bought some cheap led lights that caused water to leak all in my fog light housing so i decided to replace the whole thing like you thought of glad i was able to find someone actually trying them out i love how bright they look!
I have Nissan maxima, have the wiring harness, already has fog light fuse, I changed steering wheel switch and no power to factory harness. When I turn fog light switch at steering column I hear clicking so it’s doing something but no power at harness. I’m going nuts trying to figure it out.
@ Thank you for answering. Yes I checked fuse it is good. I don’t see the relay but I hear a clicking when switching the steering column switch. The sound it coming from INSIDE an enclosed plastic case where all the fuses and relays are plugged into…I think it is called the bcm?
@@Mylifeinthepits Once again thank you for your time to answer me. This time I am apologizing to you for having wasted your time due to my stupidity. It works now!!! I was checking the wrong connection. There was a factory wired harness with nothing attached to it on the right side of the radiator. I don’t know what the heck that is for but it wasn’t for fog lights. Upon closer inspection I found the fog light connection on the passenger side so I assumed then there was one on the driver’s side and sure enough there THEY were. Thank you…I almost gave up and was going to abandon the steering wheel switch I just bought and go with the wire through the firewall with push button switch. So much easier. The only thing is that I don’t see an indication on dashboard that fog lights are on. I guess because car didn’t originally come with them but I would have thought if pre wired then dash would have indicator. No big deal. Peace and God Bless!
@@Mylifeinthepits thanks brother really punctual on the response...really appreciate that taking a trip in the mountains and they will definitely came in handy...1k thanks...

Check and make sure you have a fuse for them in the fuse box inside the car. They also should have a relay that could be bad.

@mgpvii is the bcm under the hood? That's where my relay was

Mine came without fog lights but had the holes still need to check for cables
Good luck. If it has the wiring it should be plug and play.
My Nissan didn’t come with fog lite.So is the factory wire ing already there underneath the bumper
From what I've read online, all the wiring is there, you just have to install the switch
I just bought these and they dont fit the housing.. i used the link you posted on here
I just installed them but I have the base model and can’t find the switch I see a video but my switch doesn’t have the middle switch knob
You're going to have to buy the switch for them. You should be able to buy the stock one and install it
@@Mylifeinthepits Thanks for the replying I Think I’ll just add a Toggle Switch and call it a day but Thanks again
Thanks for the video! I was debating on purchasing but I’m going to do it, they look great!
Where did you purchase the led bulbs
