I feel like this foundation is one of the best I’ve seen on your skin. It doesn’t seem to emphasize your forehead lines (something I also struggle with😂) like other foundations do. I think once it cools off this foundation will be great for the winter! (I live in Georgia, so I feel your pain with the humidity).

1 layer was perfect. 2 thick layers of any foundation is never going to last on oily skin I’m in the same boat x

I’ve had oily skin all my life and still have pimples occasionally in my 60s. I’m also a retired makeup artist (20 yrs. w/ two French makeup companies). I never, ever use primer or serums on my skin. I stick with an oil-free, light weight sunscreen & oil-free foundation, using just enough to cover problem areas & even out my skin tone. I don’t use brushes on my face with the exception of eye shadow application. Unless brushes (and sponges for that matter) are cleaned daily, they can harbor bacteria. And I never use antibacterial creams or ointments. They might kill bacteria, but the lubricant base would cause a disaster. At night I apply eye cream & moisturizer to my throat, but only use a touch of same to my face if it’s winter & dry. Even though both companies I repped for had primers, I never used them on oily-skinned clients. For oily ladies, less is definitely more. I really enjoy your videos & hope you are happy in you new home!

Everyone's skin is different - I'm the opposite. I used to be very oily when I used minimal skincare and wore makeup very rarely, and now my oils are under control and I don't get more than 1 spot a week with a very elaborate 10 step system even though I wear makeup most days. There is no one-size fits all solution!

@@theMoporter I agree. I am very oily dehydrated and I swear by the correct primers. They make a huge difference with my makeup and overall skin. No way I'd just use a moisturizer. But I think you really have to find ones that work for you since some do not make a difference

I have and love this foundation the key is only using one pump it's more than enough to get great coverage when you layer it it's not flattering. Remember ladies no foundation can make your skin look perfect a good skincare routine is essential for having a good flawless look.

I bought this foundation last month and I have combination skin. This foundation lasted on me without transferring or moving for a complete 10 hour wear. For the first few times I would wear it a little more than required but a little goes a long way with this product to be honest, and that's when it looks stunning and skin like. It gives a beautiful satin matte finish and the smell doesn't bother me a bit. I also don't have sensitive skin, so there's no chance of breakout and it photographs beautifully. It is truly in my opinion one of the best foundation launches this year.

For me, this background is a bit distracting to the eye. Not so much the lights, but the way the wall is at an angle, with a change of depth, it keeps screwing with my eyes.. Then again, maybe it's just me.♥️

Hi Cassie I love your videos ❤️😍 one question and I'm sorry if you have answered this is a video, but why do you not put concealer or foundation on your eye lids? I also have super oily skin and I don't have any problems with creasing using foundation and eye primer. I think it would make your eye looks really pop. Again I love your videos ❤️

    • @thriftthick
      @thriftthick  5 років тому +2

aw well thank you!! And I wish that that worked for me but unfortunately no matter what I do if I put foundation or concealer on my lids it ends up creasing... I have to use setting powder with every foundation. I normally use a powder brush to apply it. But the other day, as recommended by Nikia Joy, I used a damp beauty blender to press the powder in and it worked wonderfully well. No caking at all, no transfer, no shine/oiliness.

That's just so rude to give ppl attitude when products perform differently and with COVID a lot of ppl don't have as much disposable income to keep a product that just doesn't work for them. Wonder if it's bc they lost commission on the sale

I also do not like that it contains a fragrance bc I also have very sensitive skin. If I look at my skin the wrong way I break out lol.Its expensive but I just think it made your skin look beautiful. I may give it a try even though the cons were some of my red flags to stay away from, but the look of your skin may trump some of those cons. Also i love the mauve /light pink lip gloss you had on. I really wish you would incorporate other products like the same.......... it’s hard to say whether the product will truly work if you don’t use their recommended primer and powder. Like if I review a product and can’t make it work then I try their powder and primer with the product to see if it improves (a lot of times it does!)

I think this foundation covered up really well on ur skin than any other foundation even the magic didnt cover this well. I think this foundation claims to be for dry skin. I feel you have oily skin so the oil made the foundation go oily. Ur skin beautiful you are very pretty and very confidence. I think its frangrence not perfume the fragrence is from the alchol its not actual frangrence the term is used to indicate it has frangrence of maybe other i gredients as sone chemicals have frangrence please dont confuse for perfume. Frangrence is the smell and perfume is something that is added. I yave very dry acne skin scaring skin, it doesnt bring that oil to my skin i wish i haf all ur oils as ir makes foundation look natural n dewy i prefer to have your skin, i hv problem with too much dryness. I luv all ur reviews ur fun and cosy ro watch happy and jolly n fun luv u lots i wish u was in my city u seems so friendly n a caring person. God bless you. I really enjoy your videos. I just cringe when I see you add your multiple layers. You really look better when you use less foundation.

I think she’s just trying to see if it’s buildable for people who do like build up their foundation for information for that group of people because she even says how it’s caky with the 2nd application

If it wasn't fragranced I'd probably pick this up. Oh well. I really don't have a foundation shortage at the moment anyway. Thanks for the review!

Dermatologists will tell you to stay away from fragrance. Why do they put it in?

Gosh I hope you are OK!!!! ER surgery??!!!
Lighting is great. Not loving the lights in the beginning of the video. I think bc they are too close to you in back so they dont blur out. But thats just me being picky. Doesnt really matter. The lights however look great at the end of the video.

This foundation looks GORGEOUS on you even when it’s super dewy ...doesn’t look all separated or crusty....I’m convinced of buying it!!!!
