- Vehicles are loaded with safety technology like electronic stability control and adaptive headlights. And now there are collision warning systems to warn the driver or even stop the car for you in the event of a crash. Learn more about forward-collision mitigation on our website: bit.ly/LNxpYP
Awesome! Nice demo.
Back up camera is also security camera when you park in parking lot , technician can observe the parking lot through back up camera too
That's a great feature!
Subaru Eyesight is perhaps the best of these systems. It can bring you to a full stop from almost 40mph.
Could have sworn when testing the Chrysler it will also apply the break if needed. Just need to engage the system in the option screen. The car will also slow for you if you don't.
It would be interesting to see a simulation of the car in front doing a sudden hard brake or emergency stop. It may or may not matter to the vehicle's system, but I think more people would relate to that vs mindlessly accelerating into a slower vehicle.
"some slow down to almost a stop". I'm pretty sure Volvo's technology, along with a few other European manufacturers, does stop you completely. City Safety, I think it's called. Heck with the active cruise thing, if you approach a roundabout or other, and you still don't slow, the active cruise systems on some cars will keep the distance, but will still slow down and follow the car in front of you, to the point where all you have to do is steer.
AWESOME STUFF!!!
awesome
2012 car manufacters: pay us 6000 bucks for a collision warning system
2020 consumers: not buying the car if the collision warning system doesn't come standard
also 2020: consumers: the car better fully stop or else not buying it
Please sir give your company website
The link isn't working
Most systems can be disabled. Some don't even brake automatically.
Good for people who get drunk and then drive while texting
I have a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica and the front warning collision system does not work.I have been to two different Chrysler dealers on Long Island And they could not fix my problem.I called Chrysler in Detroit and was told that they have no way of testing this problem. How can Chrysler be allowed to sell this?
Just bought a 2019 Chrysler 300 Limited and am having the same issue! Going to the dealership tomorrow to try and resolve the problem if possible. Wondering if the 'sensor' on the front end is just a decoration!
I have a new 2017 Lincoln continental. as far as I can tell the emergency braking does not work. I have been close to other cars where it should brake or at least start to brake and it doesn't. the red lights on the windshield do randomly come on but not always when close.
the dealer claims there is no "error code" in its computer. the question is how to PROVE it isn't working since they have no clue how to fix and there is no software update. I don't happen to have a blow up model of a vehicle. could I drive towards a large piece of brown paper stretched across a driveway or would that not be dense enough to simulate a car?
this is no auto braking...can you imagine that on such a high end vehicle? Subaru all the way.
It seems like it could get annoying. I wonder if there is a way to turn it on/off. I think it would be good for older drivers and people who have a habit of tailgating.
its not really, it acutally calculate your speed vs the car in front of you and will aleart you if it sense that you will crash
Volvo has a the best system.
Interesting how the Audi hit it on that last part... However I would choose the Audi over that Left over parts Chrysler, imo
What's the point here?
soon, the car will drive me home.. all by itself.
Next video-lose the music please
Be alert, save $1300 to $3600. and take a nice trip.
This is ridiculous. Ppl will not pay that much for safety. They want it included. Its sad to say but true.
Don't use foam as tester if use foam have to use LIDAR
POV: When this is normal in 2022, :P
600 SUbaru eyesight #1
I text n drive alot i neef that in my nissan altima
This is because if you want to override the system in an emergency avoidance manuver you have the option to accelerate out of harms way. Example a truck is running straight at you from behind. If you need to press the gas to move your vehicle out of the way but it senses another car in front of you and applies the brakes you can't avoid.
Get a five point seatbelt and hold on.
if they put these systems in cars...proberly around 1.4 million
and if the pick-up was stationary, the crash will always happen, lol, fucking autopilot..........
safetey
Great, now the person driving there Audi while talking on there cellphone will think it is safe to not pay attention because the car will take care of this situation.
How expensive. I wouldn't pay anything more than attention.
A
Future collision technology help save insurance money and prevent pedestrians fatalities
People should not completely rely on this. Why if there is a malfunction like in a volvo. Computers have glitches people don't....unless their complete idiots and text while driving.
People have always had "glitches" like getting drowsy, even before cell phones.
The Mercedes system is much better and also the industry leader
Anticollision system help save live , fight terrorists and reduce insurance money
Chrysler Pacifica it does not work do not buy it.I have a 2018 Pacifica and it does not work after going to two dealers in New York.
volvo still a better system
Yank out all costly bad airbag had no use and replace with collision warning and avoidance system save insurance , save pedestrian and suicide people or terrorism reduce average $5000/car on cost or manufacturing
