Is there any better vibe than first walking into Disneyland and then hearing… Your attention please! The Disneyland Limited, now arriving from a trip around Walt Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Passengers will stand by to board."
I appreciated the more organic nature of this video's sponsored segment, as compared to previous sponsored segments that involved harsh cuts to your home studio.
I was at the parks for a week in August - there for some closures but missed a few others. I’m heading back in December for a solo trip to celebrate a milestone birthday and I’m begging, pleading, falling to my KNEES, hoping this will all come together by my visit and I’ll get to enjoy a park free of walls, scrim, and scaffolding. 🙏🏻 😭
We will be there in one week and am so excited the train will be open! 🥰🥰 my youngest little guy is obsessed with trains right now and is going to love it.
The smaller boxes are for electrical. There was futuristic lamp posts there. It was more obvious when you did the shrub/succulent comparison where in the before you see the lamps and the after the small boxes are there.
Now, THAT'S progress! I am giddy with excitement! Seeing the DLRR train running just sent me over the moon! Yay! The other thing (among many) that stands out, is the grass back on the roof of "Rays" Outpost! Stunning! There is hope, after all! Thank you, David, for this grand and glorious report!
@FrshBakedDisney David I love these updates. Thank you! Can you please include progress to the Madam Leota shop next to Haunted Mansion in these construction updates? I appreciate all you do to share the updates at the parks!
I think Friday/Saturday had some Santa Ana winds in the forecast, so that must be why they temporarily rolled up the scrims at the railroad station. Scrims were back in place on Sunday. Nice to get a peek at their work in progress.
Can't wait to ride the Railroad again. But, the park is only complete when you can pick up the Railroad at New Orleans/Frontier station, ride it all the way around to see the Dinosaurs
Disneyland Resort needs to really ramp us their live shows again and get them all going again or make new ones. Like at the Golden Horseshoe, The Hyperion, and the Fantasyland Theater. The live shows are some of the things that really make Disney stand out and not having them diminishes the experience some. But, on a different note, it looks like just about everything will be open when I visit in late December. Really looking forward to it.
At 26:00 we see the 9th wonder of the world, the Fresh Baked Board!! Everyone use it as a photo op and make it go viral 🤣 Great constructionizing vlog David
All those imagineering hard hats hopefully means we are moving from construction into set dec. I’m happy the log cabin has survived into Bayou County. It’s the only building left from the old Indian village.
6:02 The only way to keep Pixie Hollow alive for many years to come would have to be if they made more of the Tinker Bell/Disney fairies movies maybe as Disney Plus exclusives as before hand they were direct to DVD! Disney has been neglecting the Pixies for quiet a while! Hopeing the fairies still show up with Tinker Bell in Paint the Night next year!
Likely the Main St. Station scrim was down due to the winds we had over the weekend. And the middle shingles you are seeing look to be un-painted cedar so I would expect those to be painted shortly. The shingles on the left (point 2:47) look to have a reddish primer on them, and the ones on the right look to be both un-painted and brown-painted shingles. Honestly I am surprised they are using cedar wood shingles rather than synthetic.
At 10:28, there is no apostrophe in “holidays,” unless you’re referring to something being possessed by the holiday (e.g., “The holiday’s ritual was held indoors.”).
you beat me to it! i was going to message fresh baked with the same. as an editor, it really stuck out, and this is my fav dl channel, so always wanna support in any way. 😁
You do great videos on the rides will you do a series on best places to eat maybe best for breakfast best for lunch best for dinner best for snacks in both parks or maybe a review of each restaurant in both parks. 😊
Looking at the space mountain shrubs missing, the blue light posts(seen in old footage at 9:20) are missing in the new look with the shrubs missing(9:40 for full view)
I was at DL/DCA several days last week. At 6:59AM is was refreshing the app every couple seconds so could get virtual queue within seconds of 7AM opening. Got return times around 10:30am. On DCA reservation days, did the virtual queue at noon, and within seconds of 12:00, got return time well after 7PM. Virtual queue goes fast, and it sucks. Also, I'm surprised you didn't notice that the water lift thing at the tree house was working (10/17 & 10/18). But PLEASE could that damn tea kettle whistle BREAK?!
FreshBaked. David, To see the train running once more you know everything is right in the world. What is the collective term for a group of Imagineers? Anyway those Imagineers were on their annual day out. It's just like a school trip. Cheers, Chris Perry.
You asked if they're going to bring back the ride photo. From what I could tell, given the touch up paint going on there. And the fact those two men appeared to be messing with the actual screens - it's coming back. I think Laptop on trashcan guy was actually messing with the ride photo screens from his computer.
06:38 It would be really nice if they opened up a new restaurant there. Fantasyland really needs more dining. Perhaps a Matterhorn or Alice in Wonderland themed spot to match it's surroundings? I'll admit I've also had daydreams about them bringing a Kingdom Hearts style restaurant to connect the themes of Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, which I personally doubt will ever happen. Would be a pleasant surprise if it did!
We watch your videos. But you mention that you can't see much when construction is behind temporary walls-guy, you're what, 6'3"- get a selfie stick and put your phone in the case, and hold the stick over the temporary walls. You can do it. :-)
With pixie hollow I was in the park 2 weeks ago at night on rocket rods and I noticed a light show in the trees was going on behind the walls .did it use to do that ?
19:25 I loved the grassy roof on the Briar Patch shop, but sadly the new stuff they installed looks obviously fake in person. It's definitely not real sod. I know they're not done dressing it up yet, but it looks pretty bad compared to what we had before. Can't say I'm surprised. Edit: okay, the closeup shot looks more promising, like it could actually be real sod. It looks like it's laid down over soil, and there are definitely sprinklers up there. On Sunday, the sod was completely installed, and standing just a few feet away it did not look like real grass. Eager to see how it develops...
So I also never noticed the legs, making the "ground" actually the top of the trellis. However, directly behind it (to the west) is the mansion itself correct? making it appear that what we are now calling the trellis, in front of the mansion as opposed to the side of it (or the south) which we refer to as the rear queue. Probably why its called concept art, but it is misleading.
Unless... What I am thinking is the corner of the mansion (in the concept art) is actually the new ada structure... In the art you can clearly see at least a second story with lots of decorative iron work.
Hello fresh bake this is David from San Bernardino CA . I have a question about ( it's a small world toy store ) can you remember when that store did opened up the supervisor said it's was there since 1993 but I've been there since 2012 that store wasn't there . I don't know who is lying the supervisor or Google ?

Thank goodness…Will be there next month and I need this Train to relax and rest my feet. Love it so much.
So excited for the return of the Disneyland Railroad!
Removing the scrubs on the Space Mountain planters is a huge improvement. I love the Disney horticulture department!
I've missed the train so much. So glad to have it back
These are great videos and you do so much for us. David I love seeing your big smile and how happy you get with the railroad 🥰😁🖐🏻
posted 25 seconds ago you say? Im seated
Will be in the park for the first time in 15 years Wednesday the day of your birthday with my girlfriend, hoping we run into you pal!
It’s back this Friday per the schedule I noticed this morning. So excited!!

I cannot wait to get on the train! 🚂
Our family has reservations for Friday and Saturday and cannot wait to ride it again!
I love how excited you get over the train.
Dave, you’re my kind of people.
Pretty sure what you are calling a trellis is actually a pergola. Different structure type. 😁
love watching these every Monday!
I’m so excited it’s finally reopening this Friday!! I’ll be there in 6 weeks!!
We will be there in one week and am so excited the train will be open! 🥰🥰 my youngest little guy is obsessed with trains right now and is going to love it.
Thrilled for next weeks (8 days in park)
Have a great time

Wonderful 30 minutes of Joy.
Can't wait to ride the Railroad again. But, the park is only complete when you can pick up the Railroad at New Orleans/Frontier station, ride it all the way around to see the Dinosaurs
Love the rails, great way to enjoy the park while getting much needed rest, dogs are barking

"We don’t really pay attention to those things" he said literally paying attention to those things 😂😂😂
Thank you so much.

Love the updates so excited for haunted and gift shop and all walls down at Tiana’s
Super excited!! Disneyland is almost whole again 🎉
All those imagineering hard hats hopefully means we are moving from construction into set dec.
I’m happy the log cabin has survived into Bayou County. It’s the only building left from the old Indian village.
Agree! It is truly a joy to still have "Rays" Trading Post!
eeeekkk i really hope they get done with the haunted mansion cue before our trip the first week of december

301 like ❤❤ thank youuu great update !!!
The pirate playing the giant instrument looks like the guy who plays that same instrument at knotts for kirk and the hillbilles.. Hmmmm hehe
Queue looks like Tiana's Junkyard Jamboree.
Main Street Station Clock frame and ornamentation is 23Kxx real gold that is hand applied. I would know having done it twice. Thank you very much.
FRESHBAKED is DISNEYLAND ❤
So hyped to see a Tiana pov later today!
Came for the UPDATES, Stayed for the BOOTSTRAPPERS!
The Bootsrappers are great fun!
Bring back the House of the Future to Pixie Hollow area!!!

6:55 House of the Future coming back for the 70th!
(I don't really think that's what is happening but it would be cool.)
The light poles are also gone from your Space Mountain update where the new plants are.
On the afternoon of the 17th when I went into Disneyland they had one of the engines and could tell freshly painted at main Street and got a picture

Isn’t it An Imagination of Imagineers ?
Thank you man!
BOOTSTRAPERs!! Miss the flutist!!
I still don't understand why Disney didn't do all these renovations during the COVID lockdown.
Those Main Street faded shingles are facing south which would accelerate color change over so many years, just saying. Thanks

Hey Fresh Baked!!
I got in the 12PM Virtual Queue but was placed in the Backup Group, all the way at 39… Probably won’t be able to make it on the ride today 😅
It seems WOC is back too🎉
@ 27:28 My guess of the "Suprise at Tianas!" is a 1927 Ford Model AA truck. Am I right?

Go DLRR boldly where you have, wait can anyone figure out how Grand Circle Tours the DLRR since the park opened?
Billions, surely!
Good morning, fresh bake
Do you think they’ll be doing anything to the railroad diorama? The Grand Canyon/Dinosaur ones?
Much more cowbell!

Wonder if 30 minute wait times affect the reservations or vice versa.
Dan did you see a masoleum facade on the ADA elevator.
Le façade is in the process, indeed, Oui, Dan!
*sigh* I'm unhappy to hear that WoC One is returning, and not the regular version. The 100th celebration is over with.
Tiana’s ride- are we getting those Mama Odie’s bottles at the top of the drop??
Yes. They are there. You can't see them from outside the ride. Also lots of lit up bottles next to Mama Odie on the lift hill before the big drop 😊
Hard to get excited on a bayou theme for a mid tier movie - wish they kept the whole building Pooh corner
Hate to break the magic this must’ve been filmed on Sunday 10/20. Im at DCA 10/21 at rope drops I looked back and I swear I saw the scrim was back
With pixie hollow I was in the park 2 weeks ago at night on rocket rods and I noticed a light show in the trees was going on behind the walls .did it use to do that ?
Why is that area that has been closed off for years (wasn't it a planter?) roofed over? I'm not sure I noticed that before, either.
Next to the Astro Orbiter? That is the top of the bunker that holds the Hydraulic Equipment that operates the Astro Orbiter!
@@michaelsullivan3581 Ah, thanks! I don't know why I've _never_ noticed it!
i think we will be very shocked when the mansion que has become..doubt they did all this for to serve one type of guest. guest at a time
Hopefully they've fixed/will fix the screeching metal noise that plagues the railroad when it goes by the Rivers of America. It's quite bad.
Oh that’s not the railroad. That’s just my daughter screaming for another Starbucks from Main Street 😂

Disneyland Railroad have reopening date October 25th
True and weee!
I checked the Disneyland website and I see the railroad is not listed as closed for our visit next week!
Are you sure about 4-6 more months for Parkside Market? That feels like a REALLY long time 😭
Is it true that Disneyland's Big thunder mountain is closing for refurb on November 18th? I couldn't' really find much info online.
