My brother went to the bank in Nashville Tennesse to withdraw 55k to purchase a mint condition GTO Judge and after leaving the bank he was followed by unmarked police and once he got on the interstate they had 2 marked police cars light him up and pull him over. They instantly asked if he had a large sum of money or drugs in the car. Major red flag but once they got the cash they declared the cash was for a drug deal and took it but did not search the car for anything else and he was not arrested but got a ticket for 4 miles an hour over the speed limit and a court date for the money. He even called the man waiting to get the cash for the car who was 12 miles away begging the officers to simply go to the mans home and see for themselves and to clear up the mistake. They refused. Luckily the man held on the car so my brother could clear the misunderstanding up and he did get the car but had to take a load out because the money the police took cost over 15k in lawyer fees and they actually had him pay 1k fine for speeding and said since he was breaking the law by speeding the cops had the right to stop him search him and take the money. This is when we found out that the police had plain clothes officers inside the bank watching for people to withdraw large amounts of money so they could take it. The state of Tennessee have being doing this for years and if you have under 15k to 20k taken stolen by the police you have to let it go because it will cost you 15k to 20k to get it back and in many cases you ain't getting it back do to some stupid little detail that they have put in place just for the theft of innocent peoples money.
Such disgusting behaviour and they are surprised why some people don't trust and respect Police forces These crooks should be be investigated as they only do it to people that can't afford court battles but you need means to do that !

This type of theft is done at airports too. Oftentimes people traveling internationally need cash and it will go missing.
