Nice job! They should do fine and with time you will have 2 new rose bushes. In you growing zone they should do fine. Up north here in New England it’s trickier because of our winter. Our rises are grafted to either a wild rose root or a blackberry roots which allows them to survive our winters. What a lovely experiment my friend.
Next time you’re at the garden center look fore Hormone Rotting Powder. It’s in a little bottle. It increases the chance of rooting the stem. Obviously not a necessity, you’ve had success without it.
