simo Skyrim bounty hunter WHEN??? I will go on a 8 season long mission to finaly get to your doorstep and in the finally my weak fragile body will only allow me to whisper out "skyrim... simoo.... skyrimmm....."
Dang episode 1 and already dominating a siege as the Mongol horde?! This is going to be a savage campaign! Also thanks for the shoutout bro, I appreciate it :D
I didn't even know you had a second channel you need to mention that in your videos more but yeah this is why I love the mount and blade community. Bros looking out for bros
@@melkorstormcrown6939 Sorry about that, I made a couple posts and promoted it a couple times on end screens but I should probably do it at the start when everyone is still watching haha
Putting together a horde of horse archers is my favourite thing to do in any Mount & Blade game or mod, and I am so happy it's still good in Bannerlord! Looking forward to seeing where this goes. Best of luck to my brother in horse archery!
just for reference batar is pronounced baatar with a long first vowel in Mongolia (since im Mongolian myself), also really love that you finally touched on the khuzaits! love your vids 🤩
@kuzeyegeateser7716 do they grow vegetables or are they just straight up Carnivores? I'm Polynesian, from a population 2000 island. It's called Aitutaki. Google it if your bored it looks like heaven on earth. Grew up in New Zealand and Australia though. Met heaps of cool Turkish people. I ate this yum food called Pide ❤
Mongols where so scary they said to cover the sun when they shot their arrows and a it would cause small earthquakes with how much horses where galloping 😮
Simo you should try to recruit as many troops from the noble line as you can. Be aware though that getting warhorses to upgrade them is ridiculously expensive so what you should really do is recruit steppe bosses which can be upgraded to keshigs directly.
cant wait so see simo's reaction to khan guards and their power. Also get a glaive or a long glaive or a warrazor in sturgia. it is so OP and it makes sense why the khan guards use em cus goddamn
You should create a madman series it will basically work like a challenge series where your fans can comment any insane ideas you could do like kill 100 people in a single battle
Loved the video but the mongol tactics were far more than just hit and run horse archery but I know you know that it was just a comment in a let's play bit I can't help myself to not say something
Hey, happy to see this series again ! Just want to say that as a french, it's quite weird to hear you "Bastard" with some oriental accent over and over again xD On a more serious note, the RP is amazing, keep it up!
Hahahahahahaha well played bro well played, it's a Mongolian name I looked up and really liked the sound but I never noticed how it sounds like Bâtard Thanks bro!
I get that why people think of them as solely Mongolian but since you've mentioned it. They're not just mongolian inspired. Their color isn't called "Turquoise" for nothing nor their flag has crescent on it or in the lore their first leader was called "Urkhun" which is derived from "Orkhon" -google it- or their title called "beg" which is "bey" in Turkish or the damn developers of the game are Turkish or one of the clans called "Karakhergit" which basicly means Black Khergit in Turkish. Kara is widely common, kind of old word, for Black in Turkish.
Hey what are the odds, I just started a Genghis Khan playthrough yesterday. I have to say, Khuzait mounted archers are definitely the most op troops in the game. It's like playing in easy mode, I can easily beat armies like three times my size
I wanna know the background music used in the battle scenes or the overall background music is it a mod if so which mod cuz the music used in the first fight scene its catchy
Horse archers are no joke. Only real way to beat them, in game and historically, is just huge volumes of arrows or bolts of your own and finally terrain. Even so, with such high mobility it is the mounted troops that decide where to fight.
I did a mongol raider style khuzait playthrough. All cav is so fast I was able to quickly raid any weak place in the empire. I ended up being able to quickly catch weakened lords and then ransom them. I once got the leader and released her in exchange for peace but then she immediately declared war on me. I then just started executing every lord I caught. Ended destroying them because they didn't have enough lords to fight against the other factions.
i still love this series but it feels like the story of each one is kinda taking the back seat more often however the first episode is normally where you lay the groundwork so i am excited for what is to come
@@NotSimoi would like to preface this with i know its long preachy and is probably littered with grammatical errors but i legitimately want to advise if possible im sorry if i am unhelpful A good example is, with the play as a soldier series. It felt heavier into the growth of this character through multiple episodes. We see him grow more radical, Slowly going from a man serving his country. to a revolutionary or separatist type. With each action being a character reaction based off in game developments. As it felt like this ultra nationalist would rebel if he saw those injustices, and I'm not saying current character actions feel wrong. I'm saying that type of story that soldier had was the perfect balance. As each subsequent series has a story telling flaw. for aseria bandit the story got accelerated, confined on a line between a and b. Causing it to feel short and lacking in storytelling. Then with Got, it felt so open ended. With no big climax in sight it lost substance. Serve as a soldier also started off this way but then it gained a big ending. That's why the death hit so hard. We saw this person have to challenge their ideals. These story telling devices feel absent now. I know im asking a lot but just try to act as these characters would. maybe bataar wouldn't become a vasal because he feels some distain towards clan leaders for their systems that dealt him and his brothers a bad hand also try and have a vague but solid endgoal like say elna wants to bring her family name relevance as they fell from grace so be it through infamy or honnor she will be remebered and that would give a solid end that is still malleable enough to move the goalpost based on how the character develops
just a small info : Bannerlord is playing in the period before Islam was inventend. (before the 7th centuary) so the khuzait were rather inspired by the steppe people of this period (which includes the people who called them self 500 years later "Mongol". Steppe people i meantioned : Turks and Huns (and those who called themself at some point "Mongol". so why do i explain this, is because i think that often the American people dont know much about early Medieval History in central or eastern asia and due to their lack of knowledge (which is no offence) are titeling the Khuzait everytime as "The Mongols" of Cengiz Han. some examples : Monchug was the name of Atila the Hunnic Khan ( Atila king of Huns) or plenty Villages which contains a "kara" in their name which is only used by turkic languages (it means dark) or the Karakhuzait has it as well (dark means in this sense like Lowborn). This Game has the name Yildirim as an example for the khuait names. Gusukan ( a Lord of the Khuzait) holds a name which end with "kan" which is very Typical for turkish Names (my real name has a Kan as well = means blood). The Color of the Khuzait Flag is basically the same like the Modern Kazakh Flag (which a turkic people as well) and is very similar color to the flag of the Turkikc Khaganate) i dont want that anyone thinks that i dont like Mongols and that this is the reason why i wrote this down with my broken english. I love the Mongols, i like mongol music, i like the Mongol Ulus and have a Mongol friend and we discovered that there are many similarities for names of specific things. The khuzait are as Mongol as Turkic or Hunnic it is.
Okay, so I’ve been playing with this mod list for a bit, at the point where I have a small kingdom. How tf do I make a steady flow of income? I bought as many shops as I can at clan level 4. But unless I’m at war im hemorrhaging gold
Bro. Why does this game go out of its way to not let you have a swinging polearm? Glaives etc. I'm 90 hours in. Lord of 2 castles multi millionaire and have never seen a swinging polearm outside of the arena? I don't care anymore cause I've learnt to use spears and lances good now but damn when I was starting out wouldve been nice to have access to an easy swinging polearm
Only companions/clan members as soldiers is the best way to play for me. No losses everyone is an elite tank and if you lose a battle you can recall them in maybye 10 days. 30 companions = 500 man army ez

"Have you raided a village?" "No." "Then you haven't lived life!"- Ghenghis, probably
He called it the “greatest joy” so probably
Raid shadow legends -Sun Tzu probably
I confirm
It's probably Attila
Genghis was more of a "have you commited a genocide" no then you haven't lived a life.

The origins of how Darius the 'Demon of the Seige' was killed.
Damnnn that arrow to the face at 30:43 was brutal 😂👏
Mongols where so scary they said to cover the sun when they shot their arrows and a it would cause small earthquakes with how much horses where galloping 😮
Btw a 100% Khan's Gaurd army is lowkey the best army comp in Bannerlord. They're the new Swadian Knights
I'm surprised Simo didn't get PTSD from going back to Amprela.
I surprised he revisited as a horsefucker
I am West Mongolian (Oirat/Kalmyk). My dad name Batr lol. Keep going Simo!
Id try shooting from first person. I've noticed that's helped with my aim significantly when shooting from horseback
Also aim from the arrow tip
I know it makes shooting easier but third person is more comfortable for me and shows more on video/less shaky for viewers
