I think it is absolutely shitty that this album gets little-to-no credit. It is highly underrated and undeserving of such cold obscurity. This album has so many good songs, especially this one!
This album is so dark and has this creepy story behind every song. I didn't get the album YET! but I am really liking what I hearing right now. It is so different. Thats what seperates Vio-lence from the big 7 bands. These guys are very very uniques. From Eternal Nightmare to this album.
I feel really bad for Sean Killian in recording this album. This was towards the end of the popularity of fresh and the rise of grunge. They must have wanted him more traditional singer. And being a record company, they're always convinced that they know what's best for a band. You can tell the band sacrificed a lot, and had to play give and take to record this record. People who aren't fans will never get that what's showing does isn't sing. For the lack of a better word, and not to sound corny or anything but he rages to music. That's what was great about Vio-lence. When you heard one of their songs, you KNEW it was them, and you knew that was Sean. It was the closest thing you can get to organized lunacy. Trying to get him to sing in a traditional way was about the worst thing you could have done to that band. What could have been is a nice thought, but fans have to be excited about new violence music coming out. I'm even more excited because Dave enlisted Bobby Gustafson who was Overkill. He actually was the whole band before he quit. But that new dead Kennedy's cover, California Uber Alles is pretty sick!!
@Slaytanicide they did jump around for a bit, but the blackening had thrash gold on it. clenching the fists of descent, wolves, are fucking insane. every band has there low moments, and i was pissed off at the burning red and supercharger, but at they're best this band can fucking thrash
@respectwalk13 There's a lot of new thrash bands that sound old school as well you just have to look for them. But if that is what you're talking bout my bad..

I've loved Vio-Lence for years and I've just recently been getting into Machine Head.
it's pretty cool to see the ties between the 2 bands
Great vibes remind me of something Wicked by nuclear assault, another 1993 underrated thrash record...
@bubblechaser don't forget the blackening dude, one of the best thrash albums (new) that i've heard in a while
this is really sean killian singing?
man he changed a lot
Like this album better than torture tactics IMO, and the rest of the releases are excellent!
precious!!!!
sounds like Machine head's ''Rage to Overcome'' in some places...
@TheeBobOv Wow, i want that practice amp then
at first i thought i was listening to down with the sickness
