I got a KIA Pride (also known as a Ford Festiva in the US). There are 4 4-inch speakers in the car. I'm planning to buy a 4 4-inch speakers or a Sony 1004 4-channel amplifier paired with only a pair of Pioneer 9695s Speakers. They will fit on the back stage of the car with some modifications. When it comes to 4-inch speakers, I'm not sure about the loudness if clarity and reasonable bass are check-marked! Additionally, an amplifier setup would cost me even less than 4-inch speakers in my market. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks
Hello. Thanks for your question. Since you're prioritizing clarity, reasonable bass, and cost-effectiveness, the Sony 1004 amplifier paired with Pioneer 9695s seems like the better option. The amplifier will give your system more headroom and ensure that your sound is loud without distortion, and the Pioneer speakers should provide the punch you’re looking for in the bass department. While 4-inch speakers may offer decent clarity, they simply can't match the bass and overall volume that the amplified system would provide. You can get the Sony XMN 1004 Amp via Amazon here: amzn.to/4ehrAm1 The Pioneer TS-A6990F 6x9 are also a great pick: amzn.to/47evGZP
Nice, thanks for the video. I have a weird bike (1986 harley Davidson fxrd) and finding decent 4" speakers is tough since thats all the bike uses. It has Hogetunes speakers in it and theyre okay but a little too high pitched and they break up a lot. Ill try the RFs
Hey there, thanks for the additional context on your bike setup. 1986 Harley Davidson, that's a sweet ride! I can see why finding good 4" speakers specifically for that would be a challenge. The Rockford Fosgate ones will be a good option given their reputation. Even in smaller sizes, RF usually delivers that nice balance of loudness and clarity without breaking up. And they'll certainly hold up better than those Hogetunes over time. Definitely give the RFs a try. I'm betting they'll handle the vibrations of that bike much better too. All the best!

@@audiorevamp thanks for the tip! Yeah it's a rare bike so it's tough to find opinions on speakers for it so hopefully the hunt ends here! Lol
