Jen Atkin’s tip for any slick hairstyle is to split your hair into two ponytails; one on top of the other. so you pull the top of your hair back into a super tight pony, then brush the bottom half into the same ponytail but use a second hair tie. then my tip is to use hair oil on the pony then twist and bobby pin into place!

I always put my gloss on my finger and then dab it on my lip color so I don’t ruin my wand (and thus the gloss inside!) or you can wipe off your wand on a tissue after applying ☺️
