I know a western academic said going to China is like visiting 13 different dynasties and civilizations. Every province had their own unique cultures and food. Thats why I always visit the museums first.
Ancient Towns may Look Quaint; But they R Difficult to Maintain and Not Always on Top of the Hygiene List; if U know What I mean.... This is the Same in Europe; with Great Cities such as Venice; as an example..... There is talk of the Most Picturesque Towns and Villages being Completely Moved and overhauled to other Locations as Historic Preservations; only China can do this.... We have the man Power.....🦾🦾🦾
Lovely place! Wished I was there. By the way, your pretty companion looks most Oriental. Enjoy your travel in China, there are very many places there for you both to discover. Take care.

you guys did your homework, surprised you went here. it's kind of a touristy place for locals but I don't imagine many foreigners know about it. did you try kfc while over there? 😅
Thanks for making this wonderful video in my hometown, which shows beautiful scenes and plenty of details . It’s really really good, because I could feel your effort and sincerity when looking this video. Hope you enjoy your following journey in China ❤❤❤ Also, Welcome back Fenghuang ancient city again ~😊😊

The cat at 20:36 is named Doggy, as shown on its golden nameplate. Also, the red Chinese words on the two golden plates from left to right are attracting money and gathering wellbeing🤣Seems like the "sinister" cat of the antogonist is doing a completely different job here😁
Haha 🤣🤣 omg thank you so much for your comment! That made my day. It’s very interesting to hear these translations, I really appreciate that! Very funny 😁 wishing you a great week!!
I went there five years ago. Beautiful but crowded then. Hired a private car from Zhangjaijie $120 US. The young male driver took his girl friend with us for an eight hours drive. He stopped at an ethnic minority village for us to spend an hour. Also very nice. I gave him extra $ to stay in Phoenix but I think eventually they went back. I wish them all the best 😊.
Don't choose the rainy season when traveling to China, especially in southern China. February to May is the rainy season, either rainy or cloudy. The travel experience is not good, and it is difficult to see the sun😆
@@kierantravels Now it's a good season to go Yunnan. I recommend a small beautiful town called Shaxi. Between Dali and Lijiang, you can stop by and have a look.
This place has a very historical and cultural atmosphere. The next day it rained and it became even more beautiful. You have discovered a good place!!
Thank you for your lovely comment! It was so amazing to explore and see this town in two different weather conditions 😍 such a beautiful place!
Everything is beautiful in Fenghuang city, the scenery, the people, the culture and even the BGM.

I much prefer looking at ancient towns compared to skyscrapers. It brings a sense of warm and peace 😊
I agree! It’s great to explore and see the lesser known side of countries. I’m very happy to have been able to share my experience here 🤗

@@kierantravels I would recommend the ancient towns around the Yangtze Delta area next, such as Wuzhen. They are water towns and have different vibes.
