- We made it to our next stop in China.. The famous fairytale waterfall town, commonly known as Furong Ancient Town. This very historical town is located in the Hunan region in China, and is known to be more than 2000 years old!
It was great fun to explore here for a couple of days, and I can safely say that I'd like to come and visit here again sometime.

Then trolls want us Chinese to protest against our government. Why on earth we want to do that? Look at China! The country is only getting better and better! We feel happy and grateful. No addicts, low crime, VERY kind people, awesome surroundings, plenty of great food (local fruits are very sweet), everything is super affordable, no tent-citizens, life is relaxed, poverty is being tackled... Honestly, we Chinese are already very happy with our country. ❤️🇨🇳❤️

I don't know whether the temperature there is now suitable for launching, there is a Huanglong cave in Zhangjiajie, there is a river rafting experience near Mengdong, very interesting. Wish you a pleasant journey!

There are quite a lot of lovely ancient towns with different characters and vibes all around China, such as Wuzhen, Pingyao, Wuyuan, Zhenyuan , Dali, Shaxi, Lijiang, Shangrila, Kashgar, Qianjiang Miao ethnic village…
99% people didn't hear about this magic place (
Koreans know more about Zhangjiajie than Chinese do🤣🤣🤣

May be for the westerners. It seems a little expensive for locals. And there are so much more worthwhile places people in China like to go. This is probably not on their top priority list. If you watch TV in China, you probably know this place.
Both Furong and Feng Huang town is over 2000 yr old history city AAA historical sites must visit in Hunan province.

I visit this place back in 2008 there are many foreign tourist many pub and bar at night I see many Chinese tour group now they have high speed train before it take 4 hr by bus from Changsha.

You take HSR need 30 minutes and than take bus maybe 1 hour to ancient city town. Is it better we take bus from zhangjiajie direct to the town? More comfortabel n more cheap?

My biggest gripe about this town is the name! Furong is Chinese pronunciation of 芙蓉，which is hibiscus. The verbal “translation” completely lost the trait the town should be proud of!
