How to Fix: Schlage Button Unlocks Door Without Code

This video contains the steps you can take to troubleshoot a Schlage (BE365) Keypad Lock that unlocks without entering a User Code.
Basically, you need to enter a User Code, then press the Schlage button and turn the Thumb Turn to unlock your door. However, if your lock unlocks when you push the Schlage button without a code, the installation is incorrect.
You'll need to go to the interior assembly of the lock. Next, remove the interior assembly, and set the Cam in the vertical position. This should resolve the issue.
