I am born and living in Baguio I dont know why my comments dont appear, 15k to 30k rent in Baguio is already a whole house rental depending on terms if city services are included or not and if its non, semi, or fully furnished, you just need to search the villages, ask the guards. You can find newly built houses for rent in the villages in Bakakeng, Camp 7, Balacbac. Condo units usually are for short term/ homestay/ vacation stay thats why its expensive because they match the minimum amount they earn per month if they decide to rent it out for long term. Daily rate is usually 1.5k to 5k, or 50k to 100k per month.
tell me where excatly is that 15k whole house in Baguio and we'll rent it. wala ka po atang ka alam alam. matalino na mga house owner dito sa baguio. wala ng ganyang presyuhan dito sa baguio kahit pa malayo yan sa city centrr kasi pinapa transient na rin nila for higher income.
tama ka kabayan.Dapat sa Bakakeng Area sila naghanap dahil marami doon talaga for rent long term.
If you still have the opportunity, I recommend exploring into the outskirts of Baguio. Consider looking into neighboring towns such as Itogon, Tuba, La Trinidad, Sablan, and even Tublay. These places are just a 15-60 minutes ride from/to the city. By living there, you’ll experience the unique blend of Baguio and Benguet’s cold and warm weather, along with the vibrant Igorot culture.
yeah, i did comment on that too. Its really hard to find a 0lace to live in baguio for long term...always outside the city. But i guess, they are considering the transportation of their kids from school to their house. There are houses thats being rented but probably they werent able to find the right people to ask
I know that at Brenthill, you can find a 30k monthly rental, but it’s only a studio unit, parking not included. I think with a budget of 20-30k, they can find a decent house for four people in Itogon and Tuba. They might also consider Irisan or San Carlos Hts in Baguio, also Ambiong or Beckel in La Trinidad. As they stay longer, they’ll get used to the transport system.
Angeles, Pampanga or Manila is one good option, Tagaytay is good too. Sorry if you experience this hardship. I hope you'll find a better and reasonable rental house soon. Stay safe especially it is rainy season.
i totally support the kim family. they made the right decision. I'd decide the same as them. I believe they can find a way better place than Baguio. ❤❤❤ sending love and hugs to the kim family!!!
If you ever think of living in angeles city.. good choice..as they say.. some korean vloggers live there like kristy pata and dasori choi's family.. and good schools are everywhere around A.C..area.. visit korean town in balibago..
Based from your past videos in Baguio, you've been checking out condominiums and houses in the city center or near it. It can really get expensive because their target renters are vacationers only. Some of these will also rip you off by raising their rental prices because you're foreigners. Thats why you need to keep in mind that before deciding to move to any place in the country not just in baguio, you need to have a list of places you can check out to rent. Also, there are good places to rent in Baguio if you know where to look. Like what others said here in the comment section, some rental houses are not posted online. They just post it outside their gates. You need to consider villages, subdivisions and barangays where most locals stay. You will have a slightly bigger chance to find a place to rent. As for traffic, its always traffic in Baguio esp in the city center but its a walkable place. Locals usually ride the taxi and jeepney or just walk there. Moving to a new place will never be easy. It will take some time for anyone to adjust and learn the local ways and this doesnt only apply to Baguio. You will experience this in other places too. Good luck fam in finding your place and stay safe.
Also you guys need to make sure you find a local to help you, get them to do the negotiation. Not you guys, sorry but that really will go a long way for your best deals.
Maybe you can try La Trinidad if you want the cold weather. If not, you can go down to La Union, specifically san Fernando City. There are more affordable rental houses there and the city can provide all basic necessities.
The highest peak of tourists in Baguio is I think around the “Panagbenga (Flower) Festival”, it’s a month long festival that starts on February 1. The coldest weather in Baguio happens in January. But, it gets really crowded for the whole year. So when we visit there, we book our transient house during the WEEKDAY so there is less tourist.
Dont worry oliver be brave you will find new friends kind & good friends just pick them wisely as you stay longer in the Philippines you will adapt the language tagalog is easy to learn just watch tagalog films i wish your family will find a place you can call your own and settle permanently and lyn you are brave and caring i will you all the best also be safe everyone
Try to find houses in Nuvali, Laguna. It’s near Tagaytay, anytime you want a cold weather you can just drive to Tagaytay 25mins and there are International schools in Nuvali, Laguna 😊
I have something to suggest! I used to live in baguio, condominium anywhere in the philippines is expensive! I have something to advice you to do how you can find a accomodation for long term! Before when i live in baguio, we go to every barangay to ask what house has an apartment for rent or house for rent! Ask every local there or in the barangay hall instead! They will help and tell you what house has an available apartment or rooms! And ussually the house or apartment that has an available slots is they put signs like (apartment for rent) in the front of their house or establishment! Few of the houses don’t publish online for rent! So that is my suggestion for you to find a good apartment for a cheap price! Go in every barangay you would like to live and ask the locals or find signs that are available, i hope this can help! Thanks😊
There are a lot of apartments in baguio for rent in a cheap price, you must look in every barangay and ask! You can’t find online because they post only online for short terms!
Honestly as someone who lived in baguio it's always full and it's very difficult to find a apartment unless you know someone local even still it is very hard to find an accommodation
Baguio is a tourist destination the reason rental is expensive. For long term, you can try places near Baguio like Pampanga, Pangasinan, Tarlac. I guess it won’t be so difficult to find rental houses. Best of luck 👍 fighting !!!
Hello! I am a subscriber from Cavite. You might consider living in Cavite. It is also near Metro Manila and has a lower cost of living. You can find rental houses for as low as ₱8,000 per month. Cavite is well-developed and has reputable schools and universities for Lyn and Oliver. You can also visit Tagaytay frequently.
I've been watching your family videos for awhile now & I follow you happily. You have a sweet & close family, energetic & spontaneous! I'm from Iloilo City & now live in L.A. I was glad to watch that episode when you visited Panay 😁 Keep up the good work! Enjoy & safe travels!
I live in Makati there are condominium units here that you can rent which are a lot cheaper try Circuit Makati, Jazz condominium in Jupiter St., and many other condominium units around Makati. Lots of schools also, public markets, groceries and malls to your family's conveniences. There's also Korean community in Makati Avenue.
Angelea City Korean Town would be a great place and suited for your family that loves traveling, Nlex Sctex are accessible for nearby places and Clark International Airport both local and some international travel. You can always visit Baguio via Tplex for 2 to 3 hours
I wish someday you will comeback in baguio and finally have a chance to live here! Goodluck on your journey. Always take care and dont lose hope. Fighting!!!
Oliver and Lynn So Cute on their Conversations Speaking English, Oliver already Big boy now And Become more Handsome on his Black shirt and Lyn so Pretty (yeppuda)
Rains are usually earlier in the mountains than in the lowlands. So as early as May, they already have rains up in Baguio. It is really hard to find rental homes in Baguio. If you want to live there, Filipinos usually buy a small piece of land and build their own homes. What they mostly have there are dormitories for students who come to Baguio to study. The nearest to Baguio to rent a home is the province of La Union. You might want to check on La Union too. San Juan, La Union is the surfing capital of the north in Luzon while Siargao is the surfinv capital of the south of the Philippines.
Lesson to learn: there are so many factors to consider when deciding to live in a city. Research, find some good contacts before arriving to minimize time, money and efforts. Here in Baguio, it's always busy but you can actually find good places and houses to live. Maybe you just need a good local to help you. But maybe there are other factors involved why you decided to leave so we respect that. I just hope you would be prepared before going to another place again to avoid inconvenience. You are always welcome to Baguio 😊😊😊
Angeles City would be a good option for you. The Korean community there is big and it's close to Manila and other interesting places in the Philippines!!!
since you're already out of Baguio, wishing your family in a feasible place to stay. You could always stay within National Capital Region (NCR/Metro Manila), lots of school choices for the kids, income sources and opportunities, there are decent, affordable and safe communities for foreign families in cities like Paranaque, Muntinlupa, Taguig area, plus everything you need is in NCR. Even in nearby regions like Laguna, Cavite, Rizal are feasible living areas accessible to NCR. You can always visit Baguio every week, as well are other places in Luzon by car.
Hi try to check Angeles City Pampanga, acessible to all places you need, schools, malls, grocery, transportation, airports and few hours to Manila, Baguio or to beaches.
Yes Angeles City is a good option close to Clark intl airport, Korean town, international school and good universities. Also near subic bay plus😂nice beaches in Bataan and Zambales.
I hope your family would be able stay in Baguio. It's an excellent place to send your children to school, coming from my own personal experience. Went to school with a lot of foreign students (even Koreans from Seoul & Koreans already living in the Philippines for sometime) while going to school there. The weather is perfect for studying. Coming from the US, I did not have any hardships adjusting to my new environment while in Baguio. Try Bakakeng and the nearby places. Our parents did not drive us to school. We learned how to commute via jeepney while there and enjoyed it !
Beckel is the place to stay. There are decent houses for rent in there. Much colder than the downtown Baguio. 10-15 min drive away from the city proper.
Delicious food, music, Disco, beautiful night life, shopping, delicious drinks, beautiful smiles who can't forget and will not cravings more Philippines beautiful Culture F.R. David -Sahara Nights (lyrics)
Go down n stay in La Union near to Baguio you can travel in this place anytime u want to go only 1 1/2 Hr…..there are many beautiful place to discover in this place…a lot of fruits during the season of the year here in La Union….
Great suggestion. Lived in Malaybalay for a decade back in the late 70s/early 80s. Their only concern is an international school where their 2 kids can go to.
You could try neighboring provinces in Baguio, like La Union or Pangasinan. Its just 1-2 hrs drive to Baguio. You can go visit anytime. Schools in La Union and Pangasinan are also really good. While staying there maybe you can continuously look for rental place in Baguio if you decide to go back and live there. La Union is a very nice place to live as well. I lived there during my childhood. Take care and fighting! 🩷🫶🏻
If there is one place I would want to transfer residence. It would definitely be Baguio. I suggest you guys visiting or consider Angeles, Pampanga due to its Korean population.
go back to tagaytay almost same vibes as baguio, but nearer to manila, and can find rentals within tagaytay and surrounding cityies like sta rosa, dasmarinas.
You should always plan and check everything in advance......and have back-up plans. Maybe you can check out some areas outside Baguio, but still in the Cordilleras if you like the cold climate.
yeah it's nice to live in baguio because of cool weather but there are negative things that you may never like, 1.traffic...especially during weekends and mostly December - January or when tourist flock the city 2. water.... sometimes there is shortage or lack of supply during dry season
Angeles City (Pampanga) would be a good option (i.e., proximity to Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Baguio, La Union, Baler for a weekend getaway). Also, there's Clark International Airport for easy travelling, domestically and internationally. All the best - silver button is coming soon!
In my opinion i think Angeles Pampanga is the best other option,,it's more cheaper than in Baguio, and many Koreans Live There..i hope & pray u can find the best and nice yet affordable place🙏🙏..
Actually there's so many cheap for rent places in baguio.. But for a first timer it might be difficult to find one. You need more time before you can find the cheap for rent.. Main city is expensive but in some parts of baguio where the tourist spot is 10 to 15 minutes away, it's cheaper. You really need to study baguio before deciding to live there. ❤❤
I agree with one of your subscriber Angeles City is a good option for you guys it has the largest Korean community in the Philippines and Baguio is just 2.5 hours away besides Clark airport is nearby
Hi, if you want a cold climate like Baguio you may try Batangas City in Tagaytay, it offers good scenery & international schools, you can also try Tanay, Rizal these area are good place to make a living, anyway guys gud luck & always stay safe.
Lynn's and Oliver's English improved a lot in your two years stay in PH. They are well behaved and mature kids! Kudos to you both (parents) 👏👏 I'm sad that you can't find a reasonably priced long-term/rental place to stay in Baguio. I hope you can find a place down, yet a nearby city from Baguio; perhaps Angeles City, Dagupan city or Tarlac City, so as you can easily take a short drive up the mountains for a visit or short vacation.
I am now residing in Bulacan, Baliuag to be specific. It is near the metro with roughly around 2-3 hrs depending on the traffic to get to Manila, QC, Pasig etc. The cost of living depends really on your lifestyle wherever you go. There are a lot of schools too in Baliuag. Our rental house is currently at P8k that includes home owners fee since it is inside a subdivision. It is a 2 storey 2 bedroom house with a wide garage enough to accommodate our car, e bike and motorcycle. We are near the highway so it is just 5 min walk from Waltermart, 15 min drive to SM and near the school too.
For me BAGUIO CITY should be protected by the PHILIPPINES GOVERNMENT and Local Officials of Baguio they should make it a Heritage protect Nature, Sorrounding, Do not Overpopulated, Over Construction of Buildings etc. it may destroy Baguio.
I agree with the other comments. I hope you try to visit Angeles City in Pampanga too. It has a big Korean community which will make you more at ease I think. :)
If you really want the cold weather you can go back to Tagaytay and find a rental house there or you can also try here in Laguna like sta. Rosa, Cabuyao or calamba it was 1-3 hrs away in manila.
I would suggest angeles city, aside from korean town its in the middle of manila and baguio so its an easy access to both tontravel and have a near airport which is clark..
I suggest you rent a place instead in Angeles. There is a Korean Town in this place. You are near to Manila and Baguio as well. It is a win-win for you 😊
Hi lovely Kim family, you may try La Union ( San Fernando) close to Baguio. You have the best of both worlds, sea & cool weather. I believe there is a thriving Korean community too. Best wishes😊🥰
Those who suggested baguio to you guys just want to impressed you that a cold place in Philippines exists and we have pine trees too and keep suggesting tourist spots instead of thinking about practicality. It’s been so hard for you guys. Keep fighting.
Tama ka. For lack of better words...those people misled them.
@@DaddyArwin there are other factors to consider too, hnde lng schools like they said too many cars kya ang traffic, wlang ma parkingan, too expensive, mashadong marameng tao, and Hnde pa tourist/peak season yan, what more pa kya kung peak season na?
You can try looking for a rental house maybe meters away from the city center, Baguio is accessible location and a walkable too. Traffic jam only if peak season. Thank you and welcome to our hometown😊
Don't go for condominiums, there are apartments or whole house that ranges 15-25K in many barangays. I suggest go to Camp7, Bakakeng, Balacbak, Green Valley. Balsigan. All are great places and all 10-30 minutes from town depending on traffic.
Move to Clark in Angeles City Pampanga. You could rent 2-bedroom townhouses in gated subdivisions for 20K/month. There's also a Korea town along Friendship hiway just outside Clark where Korean businesses like restaurants and retail stores are booming! International schools are also great in Angeles City
I think you need to visit the strawberry farm in La Trinidad you can buy fresh strawberries there through picking and you can also buy the freshly harvest
I highly recommend just staying in tagaytay or pampanga it will be better for your family since you like to travel and see new places. It's better to stay in near NCR or metro manila. I wish they could ask Jinho Bae or Cristy Pata or ate Jessica Lee for help

Baguio is a resort town and has resort prices.

Try some house rental not condo type... May be house rental is about 10k-15k
Delicious food, music, Disco, beautiful night life, shopping, delicious drinks, beautiful smiles who can't forget and will not cravings more Philippines beautiful Culture
F.R. David -Sahara Nights (lyrics)
Go down n stay in La Union near to Baguio you can travel in this place anytime u want to go only 1 1/2 Hr…..there are many beautiful place to discover in this place…a lot of fruits during the season of the year here in La Union….
If you want cold place and nice weather try malaybalay city, bukidnon..😊
Great suggestion. Lived in Malaybalay for a decade back in the late 70s/early 80s. Their only concern is an international school where their 2 kids can go to.
Galing na ata sila ng Bukidnon
And Chinese community
go back to tagaytay almost same vibes as baguio, but nearer to manila, and can find rentals within tagaytay and surrounding cityies like sta rosa, dasmarinas.
Don't leave, I know you will find your new house in baguio. Hwaiting!!!
You should always plan and check everything in advance......and have back-up plans. Maybe you can check out some areas outside Baguio, but still in the Cordilleras if you like the cold climate.
Same sentiments.
I love BGC and Nuvali area in the Philippines but ended up buying a small house in Silang area. I love the weather and it’s close to the airport. 😊
Live somewhere like Pampanga, New Clark City or somewhere within Pampanga and Tarlac.
yeah it's nice to live in baguio because of cool weather but there are negative things that you may never like,
1.traffic...especially during weekends and mostly December - January or when tourist flock the city
2. water.... sometimes there is shortage or lack of supply during dry season
Still. Stay safe and keep your adventure fun and memorable.. fighting!!!
First time to hear your brother talk in english and its really good , perfect pronunciation. sounds like an american boy
Later in tagalog
There are strawberries in Baguio and there are grapes and wines in La Union Province. Luzon is an amazing island.
Clark is recommendable & and also at the center of Manila& Baguio, too. Find the refutable Korean community to ask about the areas. And, good luck!
I agree with one of your subscriber Angeles City is a good option for you guys it has the largest Korean community in the Philippines and Baguio is just 2.5 hours away besides Clark airport is nearby
VERY NICE CONDOS, VERY NICE HOUSES, EXPENSIVE RENTAL. DECENT HOUSES CHEAPER.
1 week from dumaguete to baguio is already amazing💯
Hi, if you want a cold climate like Baguio you may try Batangas City in Tagaytay, it offers good scenery & international schools, you can also try Tanay, Rizal these area are good place to make a living, anyway guys gud luck & always stay safe.
your daughter's english accent is filipino coded.. youre really are filipinos at heart
You could try to find in the outskirt..most houses in the city is expensive and Airbnb only😉😉😉
Why dont you try going to Angeles City. Nice place, nice people, delicious food, International School and there is Korean Community too
Why not check Angeles Pampanga guys, it will be a bit more affordable and lots of schools for your kids. Best of luck 💕
Go to Angeles, Pampanga. They have a Korean community there. Ask help from KristyPata, she is a korean vlogger who grew up in the Philippines.
Lynn's and Oliver's English improved a lot in your two years stay in PH. They are well behaved and mature kids! Kudos to you both (parents) 👏👏
I'm sad that you can't find a reasonably priced long-term/rental place to stay in Baguio.
Try Clark Freeport/Angeles City area. Plenty of international school there. Also Olongapo/Subic Bay area.
For me BAGUIO CITY should be protected by the PHILIPPINES GOVERNMENT and Local Officials of Baguio they should make it a Heritage protect Nature, Sorrounding, Do not Overpopulated, Over Construction of Buildings etc. it may destroy Baguio.
There is also open over looking view in the roof top of SM Mall Baguio very amazing view special in the evening lights up😍😍😍
I agree with the other comments.
You did the righthing Baguio has issues, water is scarce in some places rent is high densely populated traffic.
I would suggest angeles city, aside from korean town its in the middle of manila and baguio so its an easy access to both tontravel and have a near airport which is clark..
In la trinidad benguet i think rental apartments or condo is much cheaper
I suggest you rent a place instead in Angeles. There is a Korean Town in this place. You are near to Manila and Baguio as well. It is a win-win for you 😊
Praying you'll get settled soon. Oh so sad to see you finding it too difficult to find a place ❤
How about trying in la trinidad benguet it's just adjacent baguio City..
Pampanga and Laguna is good too!
I think, you should try to go to Angeles, Pampanga. It has a city vibe and maybe, a good place for your family. :)
Angeles City Pampanga 💯💖🤩😊😇🙏🏆👑🇵🇭⭐⭐⭐⭐
Friendship Korean community Angeles city ❤
Up!
Try other places like Las Pinas, Pampanga, Cavite, Pasay, Paranaque...
The best option is Pampanga there are many koreans thier also, pampanga is building city like BGC in the future and its near in the airport.
Hi lovely Kim family, you may try La Union ( San Fernando) close to Baguio. You have the best of both worlds, sea & cool weather. I believe there is a thriving Korean community too. Best wishes😊🥰
You should try RIZAL it also has cold places and pine trees. And its in the middle of Luzon you can drive anywhere and travel.
Crime rates are high
Balsigan. All are great places and all 10-30 minutes from town depending on traffic.
agree. camp 7. nag tututor ako sa camp 7 before and maraming koreans. lexber heights, montecillo.
You should try Clark CIty in Pampanga. There is big Korean community there.
You guys will fit well and will love it here in Angeles City, Pampanga. 🫶🏻You can always visit Baguio City on holidays. Best of luck! 🫰🏻
Try bakakeng area, there's lots of apartments in the area. Plus it's near 1 of the campuses of Saint louis University
You cam find nice and cheap house along naguillian road 10 mins frm town
Pampanga is a nice Province to live also
I think you need to visit the strawberry farm in La Trinidad you can buy fresh strawberries there through picking and you can also buy the freshly harvest
Try Angeles where there are lots of koreans.
I highly recommend just staying in tagaytay or pampanga it will be better for your family since you like to travel and see new places. It's better to stay in near NCR or metro manila.
I wish they could ask Jinho Bae or Cristy Pata or ate Jessica Lee for help
There’s a good place somewhere in Sta. Rosa Laguna as well, it’s called Nuvali, check it out.
Angeles City Pampanga Korean Friendship Community❤️✨
Expensive because they want to live in the city proper.. that's a given
