No, thank you. I am an RN who got COVID19 And was furloughed all in the same day in May. Your UA-cam channel and a few others have kept me sane. I rarely comment on things but you have made a very challenging time a little brighter as it has given me an outlet for my stress, days of sadness and days when I have been down or not feeling well. Just thought you you would like to know you make a difference. BTW. Did I catch you are a reference to you being a Purdue grad? I am from Indy. But I am a IU grad 🙌🏻. Take care and stay well. Gayle
I have no idea how I stumbled upon your channel but I'm really glad that I did! I am a super crafty person and I also love home decor so you are perfect for me! I see an overload of the same crafts on UA-cam and although that's perfectly fine I'm glad that I found something different. Thank you so much
I came across your you tube episode by accident and I am so glad I did! You make your audience feel as if they know you personally and you are just YOU! That's so refreshing to see mistakes that you make but don't edit out. I love your ideas and they really are chic but inexpensive. I'm on a fixed income so this is fabulous for me. Thank you!!!!!!
You might try placing a piece of parchment paper over the lemonade sign and then press the paper down with a warm iron...but not too hot. This MAY reactivate the glue just enough to adhere the lemonade sign paper again. If it has wrinkles after ironing it, depending upon the thickness of the paper, you might be able to lift and readjust the paper. I would only try that on pretty thick, strong paper. Do this by ironing the paper again, a bit hotter, and while the paper is still warm, try lifting up the paper. Pull the paper taut to flatten the wrinkles and press down with a warm iron again. You can add a layer of decoupage glue underneath, if needed, and allow to dry before you iron it back down. But definitely finish all decoupage projects with a couple of coats of water based polycrylic, to prevent future wrinkles.😉
OMF I just love your personality and enthusiasm you are very inspirational and watching all you make want me to continue making more DIY's. This is my first year doing them, I've done crafts in the past but DIY's are a whole different thing and love creating new things for my home or co-workers as gifts. People tell me I should sell them because they turn out so nice like store-bought haha Thanks again for all that you share :-)
I just have to say that you are one of my personal favorites here! I simply love everything you create! The first DIY...Santa sign, was absolutely precious and I am going to try and make one of those for sure!! I like how you can make boo boo’s and you let everyone know that it’s ok! Blessings!
For some reason I missed this last year. Love your table scapes. Very beautiful. All your diys are beautiful. So elegant looking. Nothing cheap about them, except the cost. Thank you for sharing!
I loved the fall wreath! It looks fantastic on your black front door. I also learned a new bow technique of twisting each loop...... how inventive & clever you are. thank you again!
I think wipe on polyurethane is a better finish for decoupage items than modpoge. I use modpoge more as a glue. You mentioned a project with modpoge wrinkling on something you had done, not sure it can be fixed. But in the future, elmers slightly thinned to glue the paper down then finish with a wipe on polyurethane and you should be fine. Burnish the paper carefully to get all the air and extra glue out from under the paper. I use wax paper. Please try this. Decoupage is a fine alternative for your watchers who don’t want to do the transfer. But modpoge is not the best of products for that craft. Love the channel and the wonderful freebies you share.
Natalie, I enjoy all of your crafts and high end dupes! After watching your 25 fall ideas I had to order a Cricut for myself. I’ve thought about it for a couple years but have never seen one in action. Watching you make such an assortment with the cricut inspired me to take the plunge. I live in Palm Bay, Florida and chuckled when you were talking about the storm and said you had to work quickly!!!
I love everything you have made here! Learned some new DIY hacks. I’ve never heard of a scorch marker, very cool. And if I may make a suggestion...I have jack-o-lanterns that light up also. I put them backwards to reveal just the pumpkin for September and November, and turn them to the lite face side for October and Halloween! Be well be safe!
Debi, I do the same. I put my Fall out, with the pumpkin faces turned around. Tomorrow, 10-1 I will add skeletons, crows, etc. and show the pumpkin faces. On 11-1 I will remove all Halloween and leave the fall until Thanksgiving when I will change over to Xmas.
I am absolutely fascinated with all your videos. The way you do create your craft’s are exactly what I’m looking for. They look high quality at a low expense. You are doing great work. Thank you
Thank you Natalie for helping take the first step to using my cricut. I didn’t have a clue how to use it and I’ve been able to print off three things now that you taught me how. Thank you thank you thank you
Turn the jack o lanterns around & no-one will know!! So many awesome ideas! I can’t wait to move back to O’town area!! Been in NE for 22 years!! I will miss the autumn & snow!
It’s such a good suggestion… However the mechanics of my jack-o’-lanterns come out the back.😔 we moved from New England two years ago. I terribly miss the fall… But not the snow. I can handle the snow for about a week or two. Not eight months😂 welcome to O- town
Always like your ideas ! The checked and polka dot pumpkins are spectacular ! Because you have done the 'tutorial' on the cricut I have decided to get one for my birthday, next week, if I can get out to shop !!! I am in the Midwest and that means snow, sleet, and ice, and no reprieve for a week or so ! I love watching you, you have the BEST ideas, thank you so much.
I am so impressed with you Natalee! Everything you diy turns out classy & beautiful and I want to try to make it all. Plus, your encouragement with women using power tools has given me the confidence to give it a go as I am currently shopping for a miter saw. I am new to the UA-cam world but your channel is quickly becoming my fave. ❤️
I've been watching you for a couple weeks & LOVE everything You do! I want to decorate my whole house now; Thanks for all your ideas, tips, and even mistakes. I'm Grateful that I've found your site- New Crafter
thank you for the lovely autumn crafts and for the inspiration, I particularly liked your sign "Autumns shows us how beautiful it is to let things go", so I immediately made it :-) thank you again!
I needed some inspiration for my large jack-o-lanterns. They look rather cheap by themselves. Thank you! I am really considering a Cricut too. I cannot wait until I can see putting the money in on one. Covid has really wrecked havoc on our budget. Creating in therapy for my depression. I keep watching videos on all the awesome DIY things I could do if I had one.
Absolutely love those dishes; will definitely be recreating them with DT dishes ! Thank you for always inspiring me to think outside the box to create beautiful thugs with affordable items
I love them all! I'm so inspired!! Your smile and enthusiasm makes your videos 100%! I can't wait to watch all of your videos! I'm thankful for being able to learn to create!! Most of all I am thankful for love and family and friends!
I would save the gratitude leaves from year to year and decorate a holiday tree - then those that revisit each year can see their thankful leaves from years past - this would be especially fun for little kids as they grow.
I just tried your suggestion for cutting flower foam, to use a hot knife..... WOW! thats amazing how it so easily cut through like butter. Thank you very much. So my next question is how to clean the hot knife that now has some sticky residue?
Natalie, I can't pick a favorite....I love them all. I do love the tray not stained. Your dupes are awesome. Thank you for sharing your crafty mind with us!!!
I'm very excited to try the wood round project with a scorch pen! Love yours so much. However I downloaded the design into my Cricut software and it doesn't have that rectangle around the "only .25 cents" part. How do I get that rectangle around that part to look like your project turned out? TIA!!
I LOVE everything you did! WOW! Have you ever made anything from cabinet doors? If ya have, help a girl out! Thank you for sharing and taking the time to put this together! 💕
As per the norm, I loved all of them, and you always make it look so effortless. I believe there are people that are blessed with a innate ability to produce something stylish and gorgeous on a low budget and lady you have it in spades! Thank you for being a constant uplifting and encouraging presents on the diy utube
I love printing an image on wax paper then transferring it to wood. Then sealing it. I also like using the liquitex. I love reusing pieces for different seasons it cuts downs on storage space and is so cost effective.
I watched the 25 DIY videos all are stunning and beautiful, from the front entrance to the pool setting how gorgeous I enjoyed myself on how you create wonderful things lovely, thanks for sharing all this wonderful 💡
Sorry, I spoke to quick. Love ur thankful, grateful plates. U seem to amaze me cause didn't know u can decoupe so many products in so many different way. Ur going to be my favorite diy inspiration cause I love decoupling
@Designed to the Nines I live in SC and have the same issues with Mod Podge after it's "dry" (stickiness, bubbling, etc...) because of humidity. Instead, I use Gel Medium (like what you used for the apples image transfer). Once it dries, it doesn't bubble or get sticky. There are lots of different brands, viscosities and finishes available, but Tim Holtz makes great Gel Medium. His isn't too liquid or too thick, so it works great for laminating (like you do with Mod Podge) or for adhering items like you would with regular glue. If you use it like glue, be aware it doesn't have the initial "tackiness" of glue, so you need to set your piece and let it dry. But once it is dry, whatever you glued on isn't going anywhere! 😄 The gel shrinks and gets super hard so you have to really work to remove whatever you might have adhered down. Hope that's helpful!
To get rid of bubbles you have now Use a push pin or needle and pole a hole to let air out and smooth over with mod pog. Thanks for sharing so many wonderful ideas
Use an exacto knife n score a little slit on the bubbles n just run a card or something over the top to smooth it out. You may want to use a glue stick (the kind for paper..not hot glue) to add some adhesive to it just in case it has lost the stickiness.. I hope this helps ☺️
Your welcome 😊 Thank you for taking the time to share your creative~ness with us! I love creating things and looking at things and seeing them for all the different possibilities of what they could be turned into.. sooo... Watching your videos and seeing your ideas and creativity helps me see the things I can't and inspires me to keep trying new things...so thank you and keep the videos coming 💕
The white pumpkin sign is my all time favorite sign!! Absolutely gorgeous I love to stain wood and bring out all the natural character I will also paint 100 yr. old furniture!! Lol 😂
Just a little tip.. if you mix a little Floetrol to your paint you will see less paint lines. It is self leveling and will give a smoother finish. Just don’t add it to your paint jars because it does not have a long shelf life once mixed, just add a little to the amount of paint you will be using for your project. It will not affect the color of the paint at all and also will allow you to use less paint as it will add fluid volume. You can get a quart at Home Depot for a few bucks! 😉 Love your videos, you create such beautiful things! 💜
Just discovered you today and so far, every item you made came out better than your inspiration! I’ll keep watching for more, but what I really want, is how you style your hair, both the straight look and when you add waves, and how you keep that one side behind your ear. It’s gorgeous! My haircut is similar but doesn’t look anywhere near how great yours is. I’ll keep looking thru your channel to see if you ever did a hair video, ya never know, right? But if you didn’t, please keep it in mind. Thanks so much!

Natalie I love your projects and I throughly enjoy watching you .
I made the tray, the scorch markernis a game changer!!!
Isn’t it though?! I just love using that technique on wood.
Everything is awesome really enjoyed your video
