I mean if you have to practice late at night sure, but constantly practicing without a mute is highly discouraged because it kills tone, which is not just a matter of enjoyment but also you don't get feedback on your tone production, and so they are very forgiving with weight and contact point for instance, in a way you would never learn to do it properly On a different note, it might be a camera angle thing but that bridge looks like it's crooked AND leaning forwards, I'd check it out just in case
For sure you don't want to practice with it all the time, But having the option to practice whenever you can is definitely a plus! With babies and night shift, sometimes the only time to practice is when someone/everyone is asleep. Definitely the camera angle on the bridge. I checked just in case! :)
