"He looks like me!" Was not one of the things I thought you'd point out. 😂 Also, different directors and studios like to put out "false" trailers that replace small things that are important to the overarching story. They did it for Avengers Infinity War, leading to it's debut in theaters. Still gets you excited for the release, but keeps the story from being spoiled.
I've been in this fandom since FNAF 2, I can't even begin to put together how excited I am that the movie is finally here after so many years and looks absolutely fantastic!
I love the shot of William wiping blood off the knife, I'm a huge Scream fan and I was hoping they'd have a reference to Ghostface for Matthew Lillard, absolutely awesome. I cannot wait for October, this is definitely the best trailer.
I love that the white dot eyes is exclusive to Spring Bonnie. The red eyes didn't bothered me, but in comparison with other characters, they have that feeling of "lesser evil". Dangerous, killing machines, yes, but not the main monster, not the actual villain. Red eyes and robots are always connected with the idea of a "evil mode" or being controlled. But the white, void like, eyes? That is something else. Combine that with the human like movements, and you know right away that that thing is not like the others you faced before. Even in the shot where Spring Bonnie is staring at the knife, it feels empty, it doesn't care for their action, they just do it because they want.
I love how I learn about new FNAF trailers not from the official youtube channel but from Fuhnaff (which could be considered the official youtube channel lol)
2:26 I think the Red eyes are only during the end where William dawns the Spring Bonnie suit to kill everyone and somehow controls the 4 animatronics using his suit, making them believe he is their friend. We also see that neon rave lights are going and the building is lit up so I think William “sets the mood” by making the building look chaotic as he hunts Abby and them. I’m sure the Puppet might snap them out of his control which leads to the Spring-lock failure scene once they turn on their “friend”.
I doubt it. It looks abandoned and hidden away when William often has very very very high standards for his animatronics and maintains them in more perfected conditions. William is also not someone with these kinds of abilities.
@@justice8718 Read the Silver Eyes novel, William literally uses a control panel to maneuver the animatronics and activates them to kill Charlie and her friends. I still can't get over the fact that Springtrap/Afton cleaned off his knife the EXACT SAME way Ghostface cleans his in the Scream movies! This killer KNOWS what he's doing!
Wow. That first good look at Springtrap... goosebumps. They nailed it. Wow. And yeah, at one point early in the trailer I legit got confused and thought that was you in there. Wow. I'm SO EXCITED to see this movie at the drive in less than a week after my 26th birthday 😭😭 we've waited SO LONG for this and by the looks of it, the wait was so worth it!
I like the idea that the movie is the actual cannon and the games are based on events that will take place in the movie. That's the first thing I thought of when I saw the beginning of help wanted. Good way to start clean without completely wiping it all away
A detail I like to point out is that in the Scream movies, Ghostface would clean his knife in a familiar fashion spring bonnie does after killing someone, also Matthew Lillard was one of the killers in the first movie so it's very likely that Matthew Lillard is Springbonnie in this scene.
@@aquagamer1212 Yes but for scenes like that it's very common that they might use stunt double since we dont actually see Matthew's face. But judging from that Scream reference it's 100% Matthew in the suit.

8:23 no this is not the SL bunker.. I saw somewhere this movie is supposed to adapt only until fnaf 3, and it's also supposed to be a trilogy so if that's true we have a lot of stuff to see. EDIT: I think what might happen is something like this: Most of the movie in the old pizzaria from the 80s mike ends up running and finds the new pizzaria, william finds him and someway, somehow, we get to the animatronics making william move too much in the suit and springtrap is born as the movie ends. I do believe springtrap will have a similar origin because we can see in the trailer that william is moving very slowly in the suit, which is not a normal thing a killer does when their ''prey'' is against a supposedly locked door, so he most likely is still being cautious about the spring locks
I'm calling it, the way William is going to be defeated will be because of the spring locks in his suit, giving us a scene reminiscent of that 8-bit minigame in FNaF 3 where William dies, giving birth to Springtrap.
Everyone mentioning Springbonnie wiping the knife being reminiscent of Ghostface has me convinced that I need to watch Scream. Putting that aside, if that shot is actually going to be in the movie, it has me eager to see the context. A few possibilities: 1. Afton/Springbonnie _just_ finished killing someone and is prepping for another (Mike) 2. It's a flashback to one of Afton's previous murders 3. Afton/Springbonnie just wounded someone in an attack (Mike?) 4. It's purely for intimidation as Afton/Springbonnie prepares to chase after Mike and/or Abby October can't come fast enough!

You may have missed but Foxy's eyes are red in some moments of the trailer. They never changed the eyes because people were upset because in all the teasers their eyes glow different colors depending on how they are feeling, like hostile or tame. I think their eyes are red when William controls them.
I think it is springbonnie with the size of the eyes, or its Williams corpse inside of springtrap but I don't think it's likely, but it does look like to me it's a bit thin on the chin.
Fun Fact, in the Last Shot, William/Spring Bonnie is doing the Ghostface Knife Wipe. a Direct Homage to the fact that Matthew Lillard played one of the OG Ghostfaces, Stu in the original 1996 film
it's not often something made in a game lives up to the real life adaptation but the animatronics here are actually terrifying and terrifyingly well made too!
It’s very possible that they put the camera/cam op and foxy on a set of tracks and just had them a set distance apart! (I say tracks because it’s easier to keep consistent and in frame than things with wheels on their own)
Just imagine if your theory is correct, that the movie is a movie in game made to cover up the murders, but they record the movie in lore in the real abandoned pizzaria, and while filming the animatronics attack. I don’t think this will happen but it would be awesom if it was real 🙃
1. I flipping love the Chica to cupcake going after the guy section. It perfectly dances the line of cheesy but awesome. 2. 100% Vanessa is working with Afton, no doubts
So we all are very sure that Matthew Lillard is William Afton (Springtrap) but this trailer just puts the cherry on top (despite it being obvious) because at the end of the trailer, we see a fully suited up Springtrap with a knife BUT what he does with this knife tells me that it is in fact Matthew's character and that the film may have a few Scream references. In the first Scream movie atleast, the Ghostface killers would wipe the blood off of their knives after killing someone by grabbing the blade and sliding their hand across it AND Springtrap does the EXACT same thing with his knife at the end of the new FNAF trailer, we see Springtrap grab the blade of his knife and slide his hand across it aggresively, while this is such a small detail, it's an awesome easter egg and just kinda throws it out there as to who Springtrap is, most fans may not know this (I leanred it from DeadMeat) but people who do will notice it. SPOILERS FOR SCREAM BELOW!!!!! One of Scream's killers is played by Matthew Lillard
@@thedarkapex5327 because its a simple knife wipe and everyone is using it as a correlation to scream? What are you supposed to do with a dirty knife? Not clean it.? Another reason to me being rude is because i woke up, and reading your paragraph just annoyed me cause of how it was written 🤷🏾♂️
I'm so excited for this movie!!!! Something I noticed was that the little girl's "hello?" (Mike's sister?) at 1:23 sounds A LOT like balloon boy's "hello?" to me. It might not be too important but I thought the connection was cool
John, i hope u know the in-universe scott games are the fnaf 3 minigames, and not Fnaf's 1-3. the first 3 fnaf games are confirmed to be canon and actual events that happened in universe
Not sure if it means anything beyond placing the time this location was active, those three pinball machines were all Gottileb machines from the 70s. From left to right Genie (Oct 1979), King Kool (Jul 1972), and either Royal Flush (April 1976) or Card Whiz (May 1976)... it looks like Royal Flush based on the side view when we see there are four displays rather than two, but those machines are basically the same either way
What with how spring Bonnie is not torn apart, bloody, and full of Afton entrails, I’m guessing that he has yet to be locked inside the suit so we might just see that happening.
My theory is that Mike and Vannessa discover Will's Kiddie Kill Room (Maybe underground?). William attacks Vannessa and stabs her which could lead to the scene with her on the hospital bed and Mike by her side (Escaping and pissing Will off). Mike could go back for revenge and maybe accidentally but kind of on purpose end up springlocking him in his previously boareded room. I assume no one will find him for a LONG time, since no one would really have a reason to go down underground. But hey, that's just a theory..

it's not often something made in a game lives up to the real life adaptation but the animatronics here are actually terrifying and terrifyingly well made too!
"HE LOOKS LIKE ME!" was way funnier than it should've been.
5:23 "i would die to see these in person" ☠
Nah he WOULD die if he saw these in person
I'm so excited. Scott, you're awesome for doing this.
Imagine the bite of 83 in the movie as a flash back ….
I love that William does the Scream swiping of the knife move. Makes me happy as a fan of the original Scream
4:08 It's also possible that a non-lore-revealing version of Midnight Motorist exists in-universe.
6:14 that little giggle sounded like when you see the golden Freaddy poster in FNAF 1
CASSIDY
4:34 it is definitely practical and they most likely just took the cupcakes shell and had it cover the actors face
Ok, now I don't even care if this bombs in the box office. It will still be my all-time favorite horror movie.
It’s very possible that they put the camera/cam op and foxy on a set of tracks and just had them a set distance apart! (I say tracks because it’s easier to keep consistent and in frame than things with wheels on their own)
I especially love the way the girl says 'hello?'
Straight up fnaf 3
The attention to detail makes my heart glow for this movie
Just imagine if your theory is correct, that the movie is a movie in game made to cover up the murders, but they record the movie in lore in the real abandoned pizzaria, and while filming the animatronics attack. I don’t think this will happen but it would be awesom if it was real 🙃
I love the subtle green and purple ligthing when spring bonny apears !
3:21 you're not insane
we are insane
that springtrap shot alone is worth the price of admission. so fucking sick.
I love how hype John is about all of this! Makes me feel more hype about this myself! Can't wait for the movie to come out! :D
oh no, bro has succumbed to the over the top dawko reaction
1. I flipping love the Chica to cupcake going after the guy section. It perfectly dances the line of cheesy but awesome. 2. 100% Vanessa is working with Afton, no doubts
Oh, Scott gave you the trailer early! I was going to say, since it hadn't even been 30 minutes since he trailer's release before this video went up!
Wow. You really just over explained a simple knife wipe
@@fullstarfield876 You're goddamn right
This whole read reminds me of pre schooler trying to be articulate by creating unnecessarily long paragraphs lol
@@fullstarfield876 What's the point of being rude?
@@thedarkapex5327 because its a simple knife wipe and everyone is using it as a correlation to scream?
What are you supposed to do with a dirty knife? Not clean it.?
Another reason to me being rude is because i woke up, and reading your paragraph just annoyed me cause of how it was written 🤷🏾♂️
“He looks like me🫵” LMAOOOO I KNEW I WAS TRIPPIN
I'm so excited for this movie!!!! Something I noticed was that the little girl's "hello?" (Mike's sister?) at 1:23 sounds A LOT like balloon boy's "hello?" to me. It might not be too important but I thought the connection was cool
Definally not a coincidency
I noticed that the way Springtrap creeps up on Mike looks very similar to how Glitchtrap creeps up on you in FNAF Help Wanted
This is incredible! I’m so hype for this movie now.
John, i hope u know the in-universe scott games are the fnaf 3 minigames, and not Fnaf's 1-3. the first 3 fnaf games are confirmed to be canon and actual events that happened in universe
I am hoping an unrated version comes out because I would love to see some of these kills be really dark
Not sure if it means anything beyond placing the time this location was active, those three pinball machines were all Gottileb machines from the 70s. From left to right Genie (Oct 1979), King Kool (Jul 1972), and either Royal Flush (April 1976) or Card Whiz (May 1976)... it looks like Royal Flush based on the side view when we see there are four displays rather than two, but those machines are basically the same either way
IM SO EXCITED FOR THIS MOVIE I ALREADY CLEARED MY SCHEDULE
What with how spring Bonnie is not torn apart, bloody, and full of Afton entrails, I’m guessing that he has yet to be locked inside the suit so we might just see that happening.
One of my favourite things is watching how happy John gets over new trailers like this, it’s contagious!
I thought it was Scott in the chair for a second 6:06
I love that every theorist has their thing they are always focused on… and John’s is the sister location bunker
