I use apple music Lossless on my Sony A105 and a Shanling M3X...

I'd love to see budget iem's without those crappy cables. I mean like an option to purchase with no cable and why not, no eartips as well. The iem being sold cheaper 18-19$ instead of 25$ so you can put those few dollars towards something at least half decent 😅

How do these iems reproduce vocals? I'll explain. I used Dan Clark Aeon 2 closed-back headphones so the voices sounded like a step or two behind you and it was a problem to me cause I prefer vocals one or two steps in front. So what about Moondrop Kato? Because I listen to a lot of UA-cam, podcasts, and tv shows so my main priority is to hear natural, clear, warm, well-articulated, and pleasant voices without any sibilance. Would you tell me please which Moondrop Kato or 7hz Timeless is my cup of tea? Or maybe there is something better? Budget is not a problem up to $500. Thanks!
KATO sounds more natural. L4 a little more detailed but at the cost of very forward/slightly unnatural mids. KATO soundstage is larger and more natural.

Kindly ask compare the KATO vs JVC FDX1, vs Blessing 2 Dusk, vs 7hz Timeless. If you think the Dusk is unfair than at least vs the other two - same price, one older and one same time of lauch.

@@AlanSunet I'm not really a fan of L2. But I think KATO would compliment the FH3 and NRA as it's different enough. It has the best soundstage of all those.

And I have a megumi kato a55 walkman to pair with a kato. Still have to get a kato iem but I have an Aria se.

You'll be amazed by the overall resolution of the Timeless and the natural cohesiveness of the KATO.

If I'm being real - I would take the KATO. Timeless is great but KATO is more natural + engaging.

With KXXS I use tips from my own stockpile (like the generic ones in this video). None of the included black ones are large enough for my ears.
I am between these or the Zeus. I am looking for a non fatiguing sound and a good sub bass impact... But also want a good technicality
I haven't heard the Zeus but KATO is probably my favorite $200 IEM at the moment.

Yes, Starfield is a good one. Aria has the same performance and lower cost too.
I think Starfield has more precise imaging and more lush thicker mids more intimit and Aria more bass and clearer wider soundstage … ✌️🙋♂️

How do these vs the Fiio FD3? I have the FH3 and like them very much, but was thinking about my next upgrade.
KATO is more spacious and light - not as bold and dense as the FD3. I think KATO is a good upgrade/alternative to FH3.

In some ways yes. It has a larger soundstage and better imaging. But FH3 has a more physical bass response.

Kato is more balanced and has a lighter sound with emphasis on upper mids. Oh10 is v shaped with a meaty bass but good detail and clarity.

They are quite different friend. FH3 has better bass extension and impact. Kato has great clarity and a larger soundstage.
