“Pour it out for my dead witches” got me 😂
Somebody could put together one hell of a “Drae loves slavery” Supercut thanks to this series.
He's, uh.... weirdly focused on that aspect, yeah?
Who doesn't want one? :3
@@Altair1243WAR Hes just a capitalist king with money on his mind. Just so happens that this is the most efficient way to earn it
13:44 I should have clarified more, get the 1800 degree ore melted and then once it's melted add the gold ore while it's still melted, it will be hot enough to melt the ore and hopefully once the gold melts it immediately turns into the alloy and there's not enough time for the gold to burn.
yea it looks like he realized lol. more clarification than less i think will help drae a lot, he derps out a bit but thats why its so entertaining.
@PlanetGeoOG yea I was too eager to correct him
You can't do that for Moraka because it requires 3 gold. Thus, if you melt the cila first and then immediately throw the gold in, one gold ore will melt before the others, completely ruining the ratio and setting the ore quality immediately to 0%.
Instead, you can set the temp of the crucible to around 1850, throw all three gold in, and then immediately throw the cila in. All three gold ore will melt before the cila, and you'll only lose about 2 to 5 per cent ore quality.
Alternatively, you can do what Drae tried to do, but do it right. Set the crucible to 1060, melt all the gold, and immediately cool it off back to room temp. Then, throw the cila in, set the temp of the furnace to 1850, and set the crucible in. This again usually gets you to about 96% quality.
If you're super insistent on 100% quality, you can always throw an actual Moraka ore in afterwards, which will bump the quality up
4:02 - you read that right, back in the day when someone left they said "god be with you" after some time it shortened to "God be" and "Goodbe" and today it became "Goodbye".
Given all of the other typos in this game I'm inclined to believe it was just a typo
Love this series, thought it would be nice to see him naming the weapons now that he finally knows the pieces set the stats
17:40 You can leave and enter the mine as many times as you want, the rocks respawn with different ores (it worked for me)
I got filthy rich off the gold ore spawns in the first month 😂
@@Dgalvez420 me too, I even upgraded the storage to 10 ores to get more ores
@henriquesenn1828 I started playing this game shortly after the second video from drae and unlocked everything, it was a good time but definitely save often and try to keep those saves in case you regret a decision
Yeah that and the unlimited night time makes the game unbelievably easy, I ended up stopping playing after I had 100k sitting in my pockets on like day 4 😅
That moment when Drae accidentally names his slave after the origin of the word without ever realising it
Drae: man these blades are taking soo much more ore than before
Also Drae: *makes blades that are significantly heavier than what he used to*
I love you man keep up the good work! Interested to see what choices you end up making on the more story related commissions
Also you should really invest in the smithing books from the book store, they contain useful information and tips that certain quests in the future will be impossible without as well as how to get better alloys and such. I personally enjoyed the more narrative books as well but you seem to dislike reading in games lol.
Hey Drae, I gave you some tips on the last video but here are a few more.
1 - When designing a weapon, the point of balance influences a lot on the pierce and cut rates, for better piercing the pob should be close to the handle, so use a heavy design for the guard and pommel, as well as a heavy wood for the handle, and a light blade, while for cutting the pob should be close to the tip, so light pommel and guard, with a heavy blade (you will use this info a lot for the more advance quest).
2 - The types of ore also influences the rates, khanka is excellent for piercing, while moraka is amazing for cutting.
3 - Grab the skill to increase the number of visitors to the shop, you will sell weapons faster, giving you more money and more reputation to buy new skills.
4 - You don't need to fully close the furnace to melt the ore, just make it pretty hot and leave it a bit open, keep an eye on the bucket and as soon as it turns to liquid you take it out, that way you can always have good ore quality.
5 - If you happen to burn an ore too much, just put another piece in there and the quality will go back to 100%.
6 - Every ore that you put on the bucket melts to 0.1 liters, heavier pieces uses more ore, for each of the 3 parts (pommel, guard, and blade), but they also sell for more.
7 - All the early weapons your slave produces will be junk until they get a bit of exp, but if you sharpen to 100% you can still sell then for a bit of money.
8 - Fighting slaves are where the real money is, but they will need more equipment and a lot of time to train, as well as equipment to be use on the arena, so wait until you have a big reserve to spend, otherwise the investment will take a very long time to pay off.
this has to be one of my favourite series in years. I hope drae you see this... i reccomend going back to the Long Dark.
Always love when I see an upload for this game from Drae. I only wish, being how fun these episodes are, that you could post at least 45 minute episodes, or longer! The fun goes by way too fast.
Either way, I'm looking forward to another blacksmith episode soon!!!
Congrats on your slav.... employee!!😊
What's the difference anyways
Tip, if you aim the crosshair at the mold where you want to pour, it will pour into the mold where you aim. :). At least it works for me.
I tried to tell him this i hope he reads it 😭
@@Azezel_Xeneus Sometimes we gotta learn the hard way. Haha
"Your name is now slav"
Eastern Europeans: NOT AGAIN
Extremely weird, yep 😅
As being someone named slav
8:33 Thats not the Dogs name my dude.
So close but yet so far
fr lol
I instantly looked at the comments😂😂
I recently bought this game after watching all your episodes and I am in love with it I’m so glad you made this game look so fun.
If you cannot find gold in the mine, just go out and re-enter it's gonna re-roll/refresh the rocks
I LOVE YOU. PLEASE MAKE MORE OF THIS SERIES
He’s sure gonna be surprised when he learns it spawns 4 gold ore per day
Where?
@ in the mine, there’s always 4 gold
Shhhh…
Is it only 4 or can it be more? I think the first time I got more than 4 but I could be wrong.
@@Wildemut Four it is only young chosen one, no more no less
18:50 What kind of laugh is that 😂
Drae you need to tip the kid in your house. You need to open the skill menu to order your slave. I also think the guy who paid you is the kidnapper and he paid you with ransom money. I am not for sure but that's where it looks like it is going.
Spoiler, it is not
For a fighting "worker" you might also consider buying armor,
and to craft the perfect weapon get a target dummy,
Maybe mixing durable pummels with piercy hilt metals, and high cut rate metal for the blade.
honestly i dont know if that is how the stats are decided, but intresting to test.
Really enjoy this. I hope you keep going👍
Also save before you buy an "worrior" slave don't want to spoil it
This game always ends up with some good out of context Drae quotes
Love this series, rather watch than to play this one. Thanks for the venture into the world of blacksmithing.❤
Do you ever think you might try the game shadows of doubt..
There is a bug in the game where you can put your head into the some of the rocks in the mine and you can see the ores and how many ores are inside the rock and you can save your fingers from clicking to break the extra rocks
Noice
Just build to sell with pure gold. Sells the best and is almost always present when mining. Also when a smithing slave reaches max level it will make 100% quality weapons on end including enchanted gold stuff. Also look into obtaining a second slave to mine nothing but gold ore to fuel the smith one.
I ran a little test where i made a gold mace with 3 ores and a got little leftover, 35% off a pommel or guard or something. Then i used 3 gold ores and the leftover 35% of something to make 4 pommels. The 4 same design maces with gold pommels, made of iron, sold for more combined then the one gold mace which used the same amount of ore. Not much of a difference, some like 2-3k, and it looks like theres a yield variance in the ores, so it's whatever. The important thing is to not dump leftover expensive ore like gold, just use it to make something small like pommels, then just leave it somewhere. The kids will put it in the chest by the ore stand to be used as surplus for random weapons. Then only thing that gets deleted everyday are complete weapons.
Basically, Gold is the money maker, no matter how you use it. It REALLY pays off to have the first intern mining for gold.
I love this series as much as I loved Forged In Fire!
Fun fact, when pouring metal, if you look straight down before pouring, it will pour it straight down where you looking and you wont waste any metal.
I was about to make a comment suggesting you add the ore that needs a low temperature to melt to the crucible last while the other ore, that requires a high temperature to melt, is still melted so you can make the alloy.
Maybe if you first melt the ore with a high melting point and yust drop the gold ore in the hot liquid the gold might melt because of the high heat but will not burn ps just a theorie 🧐
back at it again!
love this series!
There is a book you can purchase in game that explains how to make good quality alloys. It's not long. Mostly I just mine and cross my fingers, though.
This guy makes the best gaming series on youtube
Lol good sheets Drae. Loving this series even despite your infuriating shortcomings. XD
LOVE THIS SERIES!!!! NEEEED MOOOOOOREEEEEEEEEEE
No clue if you’ll see this Drae:
The higher percentage you have a weapon at when selling (so less profit) the more reputation you’ll get.
Also, very rarely you can get two different ores from a single ore. I recently got a chunk of golden ore in a rock that showed khonka. So I got two in one
18:51.... what the heck was that laugh dude!!!1
That was wild, I didn't even notice the first time 😂
Heat the cila ore till it’s liquid don’t cool it with water and drop gold in while it’s hot
The laugh at 18:52 😂😂
14:27 No you did it correctly, once the gold melts you need to quickly raise the temp up to 1800 to melt the cila. If you do what you're suggesting here, and put the gold in while the cila is hot, the gold will melt at different rates, ie the first piece will melt before the 3rd piece melts and that throws off the mixture. You actually did it exactly correct, just a little too hot, it REALLY helps to keep the furnace open slightly so you can see exactly when the cila melts. You need to be very careful, as moraka is one of the hardest ones to do correctly.
Also, it's worth less than gold, and is made of mostly gold.. Honestly you're better off just using gold by itself for a money weapon, it's way easier to get with an "Employee" or 2, it's easier to work, and worth about 10-15% more.
You did it wrong drae!! Haha don't cool down the cila ore! Just melt the cila ore and once it's liquid just drop the gold ore into the crucible and the gold will melt without putting it back into the smelter!
Doing so ruins the smelt because the gold ore you put in first melts first and alloys with the cila, ruining the ratio and resulting in a zero quality alloy. You melt the cila, cool it just below melting then put the gold in, wait until all 3 melt then put it back in the forge until the cila melts, resulting in a 3g+1c and a good alloy with the gold being burnt for the shortest time rather than a 1c+1g+1g+1g zero quality alloy.
@hunterpatton1370 nah I just speed run melt the cila and throw the gold in while it's hot, no need to put it back in the fire, if you are fast enough you can pour out 2 blades while keeping a 90 plus quality ore. But what I found to be more efficient was mining for moraka ore and just melting that when I need a blade, I mass produce gold blades with my slaves for profit.
Drae please.. you can just aim at the mold to put it in without the guess work
You are almost becoming a Master Crasftman Artisan
Did you know that you can go to the arena and do some betting for gold?
Please continue this series!
Great name choice Drae, Now I got Life of Boris and Slav culture in the brain hahahaha
Fun fact goodbye is a shortened version of god speed be with you
Holy shit, he listened to us tell him how to melt down the ores!!
10:30 will 100% be clipped out of context
haha Drae just takes the money instead of helping the girls families..savage xD
Nice video, more please!
Keep playing this please and thank you
Every time Drae forgets to quench I clench
wait til drae finds out that if you don't have handles cut to length for the slaves they'll just use the entire log
We need more medieval blacksmith vids
@drae
Drae, you need to use potion to get the weapons stats you want, like cut rate (all the rate types), sharpnes, and so on.
Let’s go more blacksmithing
Drae for the love of god open the Inventory screen.
Then again, It wouldn't be Drae if I wasn't shaking my head every now and then 🤣
for the love of god aim your crosshair at the holes when pouring
If you stuff up with the hammering quality can you remelt the blade?
One day Drae will learn he doesn't have to pour from that far away...maybe
In my play through I haven’t played rent yet and I have a 2 worker slaves and a warrior slave with full armour lol
I'm watching on my phone with full brightness, and when it's night in the game, it's still too dark to see what's happening
I love these videos it’s so sad waiting for more 😢
17:31 you can also go in and out it will reset for some reason
For slaves they will always make "Junk" at first so it's best to keep them making copper weapons they can make fast. They get better the more they make but it will take a while. Best you can do is wait off camera for them to get better
Also use night time for mining. You can go in and out of the mines. It's not once a day it's every time you go in there.
You can send the kids to the mine I'm pretty sure lol
Look down on the mold before you pour instead of at an angle. Next is a bed for the Kids.
14:00 that the correct way to there is in the book too
10:29 bro choose slavery upon an girl whose honour was stolen and seeing the time of the game no men except few across the country would now marry her and that was and is the harsh reality of the world
Dude, they're pixels on a screen. Chill
@@ZacharyHodges-o5j
Please try to understand the joke in the comment dude
It's a game, they're not real.
Drae, you made the hard Cila ore a solid again before melting the gold... How did you think they would combine?
could we possibly get longer blacksmith videos? like 50 mins or an hour?
8:33 bro fell for it💀💀💀💀
Wow, are you telling me that he finally figured out that the metal had a quality rating when liquifying the ores? Yeesh, that took some time but better late than never I guess.
you dont need a fighter slave to bet at the arena, you just bet on a fighter of your choice or a group of fighters and if they win you get alot of money depending on the tier you bet on
Also your vid’s bring me so much happiness thank you so much ❤
if you pour thee metal into a 100% mold it doesn't waste any btw
10:32 WELL WELL WELL
How have the dev(s) not fixed the cancel assembly button 😭
Drae, the PC way to say it...involuntary employment.
dont buy more than 5 workers, you need 2 miners on gold and 3 blacksmiths, you'll want the rest of your slots (when you get to 10 and 15 employees) for fighters. WAAY more money in the arena, winning the gold tournament is 2.5 million coins. That's 13 battles to win, and you need 5 warriors to enter. Don't send your warriors in without training attack skill or you will lose and *ALWAYS* save after each fight, if you lose a warrior that's 100k out of your pocket + all the equipment. You will get a free random piece of armor for each fight you win though.
I would like 30,000 vids of Tankhead in the next 3 days please and thank you
Just wanted to say it looks like you need to buy the slave weapons rack so he has a place to put the weapons he makes.
Drae what is you held a weapon in while talking to the landlord lady?
Assign tasks to slave for your character menu :>
Drae, pls for the love of god, just spend like 20 min mining for gold then exiting and reentering the mine to refresh and you will be LIVING in the gold
use gold and loha ore for just the guard and the pummel you will get more from it and still have a decent price out of them. like 10 weapons for 6k+ instead of 4 weapons for 8k
You can have multiple sell racks.
9 episodes in and you still can't put the white dot in the mold 😂😂😂
Love everything about you drae keep it up!!!!
the ores respawn just go in and out of the mine aria if you want more gold
when making your own ores do the most first then the single it resets the percentage also you need to get a slave anvil for then to make weapons and you can also press c and then put them to the anvil or in the mine you want him at
5k bet on a fight turns to 25k in the arena if you win generally bet on the 1v1 team fight as far as I know you do not need a slave to bid on arena battles.
I had that problem with allows most have a bug with order of melting mostly with Lola if the gold ores melt 1 at a time with the other type of ore if the recipe fails. a ore melts and mixes with b ore makes 33% combined ore rest of ore a mix it contains 0%, I think it has to do with mixed ores vs peer ore.
When mixing greater (numbers of ore needs to melt first) = ore a.
Ore b = (is lest of the ore in mix .)
If b melt before a ore first a ore will make shitey c ore rest of a ore makes it shiteyer regardless of mix.
It maybe a bug do to the premixed ore in wild those start 100% if one mix ores in crosibal if the right fluid Oz mix is detected it transmits to wild ore not right mix it make lesser % ore adding ore to it lowers % because game doesn't read it as 5oz of and 1oz of b it read 6 Oz of low % ore add ore to it will lower priority of ore so 0% ore.
Recomend a ore melted at target c ore temp add b ore transmits to 100% ore.
You don't cool the liquid ore... just let the temp goes down to almost 800 then add gold
Drea you need tier 2 blades to complete his order
Each time you enter the mine area it resets nodes ore, then mining simulator begins. So, you can spent any day at any time on how many ores you want instead of buying, and coal worth more on market, because its price doesnt worth the effort.
MORE !
Hold off on buying warriors until you have a worker system set up.
If you dont train a warrior well and equip them with good gear theyll die and you'll lose the investment on them.
Well, that sucks
More of Drae Swinging madly at Ores.
