The video that Dick and Arlene released on Valentine’s Day show’s the pair singing and dancing to a Doris Day song as if they were still in their prime. Two weeks after posting the video, the pair celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary. According to Dick, he was initially afraid that people were going to call Arlene a gold digger when he made their relationship public knowledge. Dick has been in two other serious relationships throughout his lifetime but has only been married once previously.
Dick's first wife was Margie Willett, whom the star had four children with throughout their three-decade-plus marriage. The pair's marriage came to an end as a result of Dick having an affair with actress Michelle Triola, and Dick entered into a serious relationship with her after the relationship dissolved. I have seen Chitty Chitty Bang Bang literally dozens of times. Once it debuted, it became my favorite, and no more Wizard of Oz for me.
In my nanny days, it was a staple to watch, sing & dance w/the children.
I have Always Loved this man! I have always believed that he can always improve my day. He is always so uplifting. I would gladly marry him.
There are many marriages people that are the same age that just can't get along. I met my husband when I was 32 and we were married a year later. He was 51 and we were married 23 years until two days later he unexpectedly passed away. We shared many interest because I personally like the older things that were of his generation. I wish them well.

I love the way she looks. She may really love him as a husband. I know one thing, if she did marry him for the money hoping he’d croak early then plans have not worked out. He’s living longer than the average rich guy.😂 If that was her plan she’s willing to treat him well and enjoy the money while he’s alive just the same. She actually looks sincere but none of us can know for sure. At least having her in his life is making him very happy.
Love DVD but not sure I knew his wife was SO much younger, which seems fine as it seems to work for them. DICK VAN DYKE is one of my favorite celebrities of all time.
Sometimes, I wonder if Dick has more energy than his wife and The Vantastiks.
The video mentioned the 15 year relationship, but how many times a month do you think an average couple will sing songs from "Mary Poppins", "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang", "Bye, Bye, Birdie" or an occassional song from "The Dick Van Dyke Show"? From what I've seen, Dick isn't going out, on a music tour singing his favorite tunes, like The Rolling Stones (who are in their 80s).
I'm not accusing her of being a "golddigger", but I think the average wife wouldn't want her husband to say "supercalafragilistic....." on how he feels about getting out of the shower...off and on...for 15 years!
I know Dick is "a big kid at heart" and from what I've seen, it looks like they're both happy. But, I'm also worried about her "getting most of his money", either with a divorce or questioning his sanity..
