- Took my 2018 Ford F150 with the 5.0 V8 out on a local trail. I have a 6 inch Pro-Comp lift and I wanted to take it off-road and test its capability. Setup is 35 inch Nitto Ridge Grappler Tires on a 20x10 -18mm offset Fuel Sledge Wheels. Links below to the suspension, wheels, and tires.

I bought the same lift kit for my truck which is same as you I realized after I bought there 2 bars that run below the cab area in the front of truck I guess for anti axel wrap or somen I kinda wish I went with bds kit so I didn’t need them
How many miles do you have on it now. I might be buying a 2018 F150 5.0 10 speed tomorrow. Its a deal but I am nervous about some of the reviews.
I have just about 26k miles on it now. I don’t drive much but I do see guys having 70-80 with no major issues. I’ve also heard horror stories like engine replacement. I love my truck though so if it’s a good deal then go for it. Just have some sort of mechanical breakdown insurance 👍🏽

Hey gents, just wanted to comment on issues. I got rid of my 2018 for a 2019, 5.0 and yes oil consumption continues. There is a tsb to reprogram computer(shifting), and replace dipstick(longer) . Have not done it yet have 5000 klicks before due and dealer said run it. Oh and 19 handles better than 18. Great video Andrew as always👍

I've got a 19' F150 SC XLT 302A 4x4 with the Ecoboost 3.5. I'm getting a really harsh shift when going from 3rd to 4th. Do you think that TSB could apply to my truck? Thanks.
@@mmholling87 no it does not sorry, it applies to the oil consumption of the 2018 - 2020 with 5.0. I just looked it up, TSB 19 2365. There could be one on yours and if not, your dealer should reprogram the computer as it would be warranty, if they are are a good dealership.
Where was the offroad content that you mentioned. You just drove on a very well maintained dirt road. Pretty lame. That smooth dirt road you drove on looks like my driveway. My wife drives her Honda civic on.
🤣 I take what I can get. That’s funny though because I did see a Kia Elantra up there! I do have some other videos in the snow and stuff that have more intermediate trails.

Have you had any issues with your f150? My 2018 5.0 is making a chirping noise
Yea I had that exact same noise and had it fixed under TSB 19-2140. It’s completely gone and hasn’t come back. And then oil consumption has been an issue. What else have you ran into?
@@AndrewNobleOfficial I checked my oil at 3,000 miles on my 2020 5.0 and it was fine. I checked it at 4,000 and it was a bit more then halfway full or about half full so I’m having the oil consumption problem as well what should I do
@@93rjose this one is tough! That’s quite a bit more than what I’ve seen but I’ve also heard of others turning their trucks back in or getting a brand new engine because of this issue. Have you talked to your service advisor? They have tests they can run for this exact issue.
