Wish it was a foundation I’d be able to use, but I really appreciate the comprehensive analysis of how and why different primers, foundations, and concealers, work or don’t work. I’m sorry you’re in not the greatest place right now, but I believe in you, and your ability to persevere through adversities. You’ve got this, Maryam!! Also, Milk just, they need to just... stop... I say that not just as someone who can’t use any of their products, anyway, but as someone who has seen literally none of my friends who CAN use their products, enjoy them at all.

I went out to get that Catrice foundation the other day after watching your first impression video! I have been loving wearing it over the Wet N Wild Glass Correct Primer, which is a bit serumy slippy. I also grabbed the Big Poppa mascara too and I've been loving it!

The beauty community should start playing foundation roulette!!! Like swap foundations with someone or use either a high end or drugstore foundation unknowingly and give your review then reveal the foundation at the end!!

I tried this foundation but my pores looks visible and a bit weird which I didn’t appreciate . Ca you advice me with nice primer that can avoid my pores looking bad. Between I have a super oily skin with some acne . Thanks and regards from Deutschland
I think the milk chalk sticks are meant to be scraped off and mixed with setting spray. Or used wet. Idk though I don’t actually have them myself just have seen them used lol

Hpe everything goes better babe. You are a bright soul. Hey, about powder, did you ever used Fenty Beauty loose powders? I loooove it and think that makes the skin soooo flawless and actually works with the appearance of pores, and yeah extends a loooot the makeup longevity. I really would love if they reformulate the loose into a compact powder. And a debate: THIS FOUNDATION or COLOURPOP HIALURONIC ACID F?
I like the Fenty loose powders, they're definitely nice. I should reach for them more. I'm gonna have to say this one is better than the colourpop bc it's fuller coverage, so more flawless looking on me.

Good morning, I'm from Germany where Catrice and Essence come from. The two are sister companies, so they are so similar. In the summer, the two of them also have a cooperation, an LE called Sista Love, and they both bring out a line together every year.

no they're very different. This one is way fuller coverage, and also just thicker consistency.

What's with the pumping it directly onto the face move? That is so not helpful and is guaranteed to make the application inconsistent and messy.
It just because popular cause people were doing it in IG shorts, and then people were like "OH! You're supposed to do it that way? Um, okay!"
Nope. Pump it onto a sponge, brush, palette, or back of the hand. It will save your clothes too.
Guilty! I'm the "IG person" who used to do this in all my tutorials lol... honestly, I think we do it because it's faster than applying to your hand, also I don't like for it to soak into my brush, so this method works for me bc I'm used to it, but it's definitely not for everyone

i wanted to love the foundation, but i don't know what i am doing wrong. it makes me look extremely greasy within minutes, extensive setting with powder and a setting spay help a bit, but not for long.
it also transfers like crazy, which makes touch ups quote difficult, if you want to blot it throughout the day and not just cake the powder on top.
it also gets into the pores, i mean RIGHT into the pores, giving you that odd spotted look. i tried different brushes and using fingers - same result.
i wish i continued with HD liquid coverage from Catrice, ugh
have you tried applying a lot less product? it's supposed to set, not feel super wet or transfering
