Tom Ellis was a good choice, especially since the basis for the original comic character is unavailable (David Bowie in his 30s or so). Aimee Garcia seems to be as sunny as her character in the show lol. She's also rather cute, and you would never guess by looking at her she's almost 40, looks like she's in her 20s. I almost felt like a dirty old man for thinking she was cute until I found out she's 3 years older than me lol

It's just that hot-looking guys on TV are often in their 20s. In this case (Tom), they cast a mature man in his 40s, but that's still fairly young and he looks it. He also has the advantage of a lot of experience as an actor, and it shows in how terrific he is in the part of Lucifer. I think that's the case with all of them. They are all old enough to be experienced actors, and it shows.

Damn! That would've been a great sequence. One thing this show absolutely didn't pay attention to was Lucifer's and Trixie's relationship development. He hadn't even once hugged her:( This is gonna be a missed thing in this show now that it's over.
My favorite episode is when Lucifer pops down to hell to get the antidote to save chloe even though he in the beginning thinks shes part of the manipulation. I love that he saved his girl.

The casting I think is Wonderful. The relationship the actors have with their character and their director beautifully shows a deep insight into human behavior, the strength and flaws as humans we all share. I love the series "Lucifer". Hope to see it back on TV soon.
a much needed respite and refresher, for him and for the show in general. it's a fun 3rd season but I think it's fandomly accepted that the best of the Lucifer eps are largely found in season 1, which is the core style and beat of the show. glad they're tweaking it a bit closer to that when they moved to Netflix

It's a fun thing we do once or twice a year when we know we have a complete series so this way we don't have to wait endless months to see what happened next. It takes lots of patience, preparation and perfectly coordinated free time as well as fast food to do this right. I recall I didn't want to wait to watch the 4 seasons of Lucifer because I tend to forget details so I watched all the available episodes on my own and then in 2021 I watched all 6 seasons with my family and friends in 6 days and everyone said it ended to quickly. I agree it wasn't that long because it was only 10 episodes per season. Ciao!

I've been listening to a few interviews, and then saw a couple of episodes of Rush, and now this interview and, of course, all the Lucifer episodes thru Season 4. He has amazing control over accents. His American accent in Rush was spot on. When he's in an interview, his accent is more cockney, i guess? And then there's his Lucifer accent, which is mellow and sophisticated. His acting training sure paid off, 'cause he's amazing.

you can tell the cast all really gets along as opposed to just faking it like some shows. that does not impact the show really but it is nice to know
