I think Tom Ellis in the rest of the cast of Lucifer probably one of the coolest people you'll probably ever need because they just don't seem like normal celebrities you know they don't show off anything and the one thing they understand is they love the fans and they know that the fans got on the seasons that they got on Lucifer and they respect that and they show appreciation to the fans and that's why people love the show so much because like they say it's not only our show it's your show and you're the one that made it possible for us to do this and 95% of the celebrities in California where are there from just don't f****** get it that you know the fans make the show The fans made their career and these people do get it

Sadly even the actors are aware of that and that in some measure they need to do it. Infact Mr. Tom Ellis in one of the #JIBLand Panels said “I’m a whore” refering to the things he is asked to do to promote Lucifer and he says yes. I think he was specifically refering to how he said yes to read Thirst tweets before knowing how exactly they were. I must say I’ve watched many of the Thirst tweets and the one for Mr. Ellis were the most desrespectful of all. He was visibly embarassed but he kept going reading and actually answering with style and funny ways. A true performer a true gentlman. Too bad he is being widely objectified. Even if I appreciate a muscular sculpted body as the next lady, I actually prefered his thin but shaped body built. He even walks different now. Anyway I hope we fans, even the most obsessed ones, learn someday how to treat with respect this great artists

He's a very talented actor, so he should be asked more about his profession, I'm sure he'd be happier to hear that kind of questions. But many fans, well, mostly ladies, they see him mainly as a hot man (which he obviously is) and then as an actor. As you said, we women complain about objectifying us, but sometimes we do the same thing with men. And I'm sure, Tom isn't very comfortable about that, even if he doesn't show it and still behaving like a gentleman and being funny.
