So they’re finally coming out with a dub for this one too. You’d think that with an anime series entirely here in America, this would’ve been the first one to come out after that merger with Funimation.
I rather have the english dub come out slowly but perfectly. Just listen to the english dub of Violet Evergarden, it sounds like the actors were given the literal translation instead of a professional one.
Ngl i think all the voices are pretty accurate or at least decent except takt’s no offense to the VA but the guy is supposed to be late teens early 20s and sounds like he’s 30-40 and has been smoking :\
@@animanco6833 tru i mean i can probably get used to it or at least live with it it’s just strange although do gotta give em props for nailing destiny and anna i was mainly scared how they would handle them
This story could be like The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. The young dude as the master or maestro called master or maestro could be a similarity. The other similarity's the teamwork. The difference's the titles w/ Link as Master Link AND Takt as Maestro Takt. Link's more focus on action-adventure w/ the sword fights. Takt has a musical flair. Skyward Sword's Link AND Takt count as musicians (Link w/ the harp, takt w/ the piano). I'd go w/ Sugiyama Noriaki AND Sam Riegel as Skyward Sword's Link's VA's.
I'm not so sure about that. The setting isn't thorough at all. The power of music is used to fight enemies who despise music, but it's not like they play instruments during battles, and instead of instruments as weapons, they use guns, swords, etc. instead. There's a line that says they're fighting with the "power of music," but that isn't depicted in the anime. It's understandable if the conductors play instruments and Musicarts fight with that power, but the conductors are just waving batons. The setting about "D2" is vague as well. I also have a thing to say about this clip. Takt (protag) knows that D2 comes at the sound of the piano, but he can't resist playing it, and the city is destroyed. D2 were in a dormant state, but it's not like they were annihilated, and it's not clear why they're dormant. And yet, the organization that banned music to the citizens holds a "music festival" and, sure enough, D2 comes and I'm like "What the heck?" The setting isn't polished at all, and there are so many little things that don't quite fit.

😆 OMG YES!!! The # 1 philanthropist buys the # 1 worst mainstream platform and this anime gets a dub like it was “destined” to… seeing as the premise is literally America. My week has been made. 😬
To be honest this anime has me underwhelmed yikes I dropped it 😬 after episode 5 in the sub version I think the plot is not as engaging as how the art style of the show
Watch episode 1 here! got.cr/cd-topd1
I want to see the first episode of takt op.Destiny next week, yeah!?
“That’s some pretty good playing. Everyone give him a hand!”
Yes. "Give him a hand" indeed.

How are u not expecting a dub on a dub channel
@@ChallengerYasuoHighlights I meant I didn't expect the series itself to get a dub genius.
Considering this anime took place in America, that SHOULD’VE been expected. It’s more surprising that it took this long for it to come out.
Ah, music to my ears! This anime is amazing
It's about time this finally came out in English Dub. Can't wait to watch this!
2:21 Holy Looney Tune's fall. xD
Wow!!!!! Was not expecting a dub, watched this when it premiered, def recommended, the art style is simply beautiful as well
It gets worse as the story progresses tho.
This anime had so much potential!
well that's ashame guess I'm not watching it

Maybe if we're lucky Tsukimichi - Moonlit Fantasy will dub to.
That we call music then proceeds to face plant concrete pavement below him 🤣
At the end of this we call that flat pancake😂🤣
Such a good anime, a little lack busting on the lore but i love everything else with this anime!
Thanks for reminding me to watch this now that it's in dub😁

Love Jason leibrecht, but yeah, he sounds too mature here.
TBH English dub fits perfectly because of the location of the plot.
This is everything I want rn

Takt op.Destiny is one of the best anime of 2021, such as between Mushoku Tensei and Higehiro.

I'm more sad that we aren't gonna get s2🙂
