    I like to fold the sleeve over and make a cuff, but thank you for this video! I’m a 3.75 collector and I just applied this method to the V. C. Figures and this video was absolutely amazing! Sense seeing this video I have been making robes and other style stuff for my figures like a skirt type with a long cape, I make sleeveless coats for some figures, and even wire rimmed hoods! But this video was the inspiration for all of the things I make for my figures! Example, I just today made a pull over black robe for a custom Boba Fett from the mandolorian! He looks amazing! So again I say awesome video! Very inspiring and showed us who can use a sowing machine how easy it is to make these. Like I said I’m making them for 3.75 and they come out beautifully! Ty

      Jedi-Fi I haven't made that one yet but plan too. The pattern in essence is a semi circle but the flat end you'd want leave a little extra so it could wrap around his neck. Then attach the hood. I plan on making a tutorial for it.

    Anybody have pictures of how there's turned out? I tried and it fit horribly. Found good fabric that doesn't look or sit too big for 6", but it just doesn't work out.

    • @cubescitycustoms5453
      @cubescitycustoms5453  6 років тому

      Rick Guell when it's finished try ironing it. That will help the fabric lay better when it's right side out

    • @rickguell2971
      @rickguell2971 6 років тому

      Iron the folds in the seams? I thought about trying that because at the seams it tends to curl in. Ok awesome, I'll try that man thanks! Also, I made the back portion a little more narrow then the front where the opening is. The opening kept coming out too tight with no room to close or make that finished seam in front. Hopefully it turns out ok 😬

    • @cubescitycustoms5453
      @cubescitycustoms5453  6 років тому

      Rick Guell yes iron the seams when it's right side out. Your right otherwise they want to fold back in on themselves.

    • @cubescitycustoms5453
      @cubescitycustoms5453  6 років тому

      Rick Guell for the issues on the front being too tight to make your finish seams. You'll want to make sure when you first cut your pattern you cut it big in terms of sleeve length, robe width and robe length. You can always go back and sew another seam making it more narrow but if you make it too narrow to begin with you'll have to scrap the whole robe and start over.
