Karan, I cannot say how humble yet honest you are! Thank you for sharing your experience, your journey from 2020 (covid) and circumstances that inspired you to start your UA-cam channel - the reason being the purpose to share the knowledge and significance on how a seafarer contributes to global trades! Good work my dear, and very nice to see Season 4! Cheers!

I became interested in the shipping industry and the life of seafarers during the pandemic and found your channel several months ago. Having now watched most of what you have produced, I must say that you, my friend, have come a long way. Not only as a UA-cam contributor but, as a seafarer, as a person and as a mentor to other young people who may be considering a career as a seafarer. While this accomplishment is your own, it is clear that your upbringing and the continued support of your family, and girlfriend, has played a large part in your success. Well Done, to you all !!!

What a great and emotional video Karan. COVID has shaken up the whole world from one day to the next. Nothing was the same as before. But you found the courage to show people through your videos on UA-cam how life and work at sea works, and what emotions you have to deal with. I wish more people who have nothing to do with seafaring would watch these fabulous videos to understand what hard work you do so that they can buy their goods in the shops. For them, everything is self-evident. You are just great. Keep up the good work.👏🙌💙🙏💖

seems forever ago, since covid hit, but i remember it like it was yesterday, i caught it pretty early on when it hit the UK, and it hit me HARD, weeks of pain, suffering, coughing and horrific headaches, finally got over it myself, then almost caught it a 2nd time which required an ambulance to turn up at my house, thankfully the paramedics got me under control so i didnt have to go into hospital...when i finally got over that one, the damage was done, and took me over 6 months to recover from covid, i had 3 injections....but ever since, my lung have been screwed and are very easily irritated.
on september 2021, i lost one of my closest friends to covid, almost 2 years later, i still have not got over his passing, as just a few weeks earlier, his younger brother passed away from covid, leaving only his mother and 2 sisters who survived them both
glad yourself and your family stayed safe during it

Most aren't aware that a radio officer's mother passed away when her son was on duty on a drillship in indian offshore in March 2020 during lockdown. He couldn't even attend her funeral due to total lockdown. After few months the crews working had to be relieved so all incoming crew were compulsorily quarantined for a week and sent to work via choppers and crew wore those ppe during travel so were the chopper pilots. Some offshore installations with all these safety procedures still had to be shut down due to this virus coming inside the rigs and even more surprising today is how the virus epidemic suddenly stopped.

I left sea in 2017 as a second officer to achieve to find that purpose . To contribute to society . And with true heart i want to say i did a lot in every field be it politics ,social service or sports or inspiring young ones to chase their dreams . Guided those who wanted to join Merch navy .However i could not continue one thing for long and thats why purpose is the main thing .Whatever one does should be done with complete determination and dedication . Good video Karan ,you made a very engaging/inspiring content and concluded the video even well . This can only come with pure heart and right intentions .cheers

10:56 off topic question. What about pilot to come out of the port? Was he onboard? If yes how it was managed?

Karan Bhai... Bura mat manna but ek baat khu, agar aap apni baaten hindi I mean local language jo aam aadmi samajh sake usme rkhe to sayad log aapko dekhna jyada pasand krenge or aesa me kyu kah rha hu ye aapko PTA hi hoga.
Aapko PTA hi hoga ki ek aapke jese orange shots Wale sir hai, unka explain krne ka trika unki bhasa me dikhta hai...
Me ye nhi khta ki English me bolna galat hai lekin hindi se aapki local jnta judegi or aapse or jyada log judenge... BTW me bhi aapki video lambe arse se dekhta hu lekin bhut bar laga ki aapko ye bat mujhe khni chahiye so aaj khdi....baaki aapki marzi..!! Love respect ❤

    Hello Mate
You are absolute right about the sign off (event),Which I have faced numerous times during my sailing period, where the heart can be felt and heard burning, since in 90's we didn't have no option avoiding the same.
    Thank you for the Video.

Lived through this with you. It's often hard for people to comprehend how difficult the Covid period was not just for folks on the ship but for the loved ones waiting for them back at home. It was hellish not to know what's going on and sign off getting cancelled last minute.
You have to support your partner on board to keep the morale high, all the while battling your own worries for them. It was truly a predicament between the mental health of the person on board or the physical risk of catching the virus if they were to sign off.
Thankyou for sharing this with the world. Truly proud of you.
