I gather from the video that this girls boyfriend is dead or has left her but she is like insane and is really still in love with him so she has visions of him, that's why the older man (dad) looks depressed/ worried. The beach was probably here favourite place to go with him that's why she keeps going there, and the letters could be from him from a long time ago
Love this song! Amazing video!! All the little changes in the song are amazing and so powerful! Nic's bass playing in this song is pretty inspiratonal, even if he does look like a raptor when he sings! :P Oh and Joe > Alled. Obvz.
if they sing this on the kids in glass houses tour and bring aled out, which they probably and hopefully will do, i will probably faint. too much perfectness on one stage.

I was talking about their NAME.There is already a band named BLITZKID that has been around since 97'. And don't fucking tell me they are influenced by them because they sound nothing like them and have nothing lyric wise that correlates. "Blitz Kids" aren't very original musically either. Certainly not harmonically or rhythmically or even lyrically. Im pretty sure the only reason you like this is because they are a bunch of attractive young men playing catchy hip music.
Also the I'm a chameleon and you are the sea were always changing never happy mould be the boyfriend and girlfriend saying that they keep getting new partners but they are never happy and they should be together
Obvious troll is obvious and you still get mad. I don't like songs because they're hip; I hate Much Music with a passion. Just because you're so butt-hurt that they "stole" your favourite band's name isn't going to make me reform my musical taste. I also didn't even know what these guys looked like until weeks after discovering them. Ciao.
