- Hey FOA. Today I took out the sofa in my trailer and replaced it with a dining set. I also added a large 4 drawer storage cabinet. This makes it so more comfortable and functional. I really like it.

I really love how all your stuff is coming together. I’m glad you made your own dining room set instead of buying a new RV really looks great.
The new dining table looks so good. To keep your four drawer chest from sagging on top, measure the top surface area, and have a piece of butcher block cut to size or slightly larger. It will evenly distribute the weight of whatever you put in the center (the plant) to the stronger edges. Otherwise it will sag, and you will have a hard time opening and closing that top drawer. The bonus of using butcher block is you'll have more food prep area and it just looks good. You could also use a custom cut piece of furniture glass or pretty countertop material.
Anthony, can you use the same strip of wood you remove and use it to mount the four drawers onto the van itself ,so the drawers won't move ,so that means you will have to drill the drawers one by one to the back of them four holes,the screws will go into the wood that is already drill on the van, I hope you understand what I am saying ,just at the beginning when you was getting out the screws that was screwed on the van

I love the new additions it looks good 👍🏾 great job Bro. You can use velcro instead of the two sided tape, that way if you have your move the table for travel you can just stick it back 🤷🏽♀️ just a suggestion. Hello FOA Fam

Anthony you have it really kicking now. I see you got rid of the lazy Susan. The position it was in took up a lot of prep space. The next project you should tackle is that other countertop. If you could place a curtain rod from one to the other. Then hang a curtain of your choice Maybe use that for hanging clothes with an additional extension rod. Just an idea.

Home Depot has storage sheds for $140 5 by 3 and some a bit more. Seems better than having to do lumber and have to care for the lumber every year.....steel would be better I think.
I think it may cost less than wood. Wood is so expensive now.

Hi Anthony your an inspiration. Congratulations on your new space. Anthony with all do respect. I have the storage that your neighbor has. It is expensive but well worth the money. They are weather resistant . That is what you need. True you have to build it but you will put it together correctly. You spend money anyway. You can get a tall or what ever size you want. I have mine for years and still looks like new. God Bless

try a corner bracket or 2 attach to wall under window take the support bar toward you off...will keep it from moving around and also make it stable not wobbly...
It looks very nice. You may need some brackets under the table to hold it to the wall and also to hold your new storage against the wall. The Campulance Man has giant types of nails to hold his rug down. The wind never blows his rugs away.

Hi Anthony, it looks Perfect! I've got an idea, if u turn your 4 drawer chest and angle it differently where the drawers r facing towards the door, you'll have enough room to use your second dinette chair! ♥️✌️
Don’t use 2 sided tape…..the forces inside that trailer while going down the road is like a major earthquake. We have a 36 foot pull behind camper and put things up with industrial strength type velcro.

Hey Anthony I was looking at some storage sheds and it all depends how big you want, I saw some pretty cheap on Amazon and I googled storage large shed 8' by 6' waterproof, dust proof comes with a mat it's $79.99 so it all depends what you're looking for 👍😃✌️

Turn the table around so that the support bar is against the wall by the window
I would have gotten a square table with a round base so you'd have space for your legs. I knew those square base bars might be an issue.

Hi Anthony, I love your cute, cozy home but I can see something that will make it look more homey. You may not want to do it but you could try it to see if you like it. where your bed is if you put curtains from the ceiling to the floor just on either end not all the way across that would give you a little bit of privacy to your bed. It's just a suggestion. ❤

Maybe Anthony will be able to fix his valances now. I worry that he has left the headings so bent, they might not stand up properly. But at least it is worth a try so he does not have to look at that disarray anymore.

You really out did yourself today. You really transformed that space into something special. It really looks amazing. I paused the video a few times just to soak it in. I am laughing so hard because I was going to tell you to turn the outside rugs around so they match better but I didn't want to annoy you about it. But perhaps someone made the suggestion. Anyways it looks neat and tidy and very comfortable I am so glad you did this and kept the trailer you have because you can make any space beautiful and the way you want. Well done Anthony.
Anthony, great idea to replace the sofa with a table and cabinet. 😊 If you still have the wood stripping that you removed, or you can get furring strips cut from Home Depot, place a strip along the outer wall that aligns with the bottom edge of the table top. Run the strip from the cabinet along the width of table. You can paint it a neutral color to make it less visible. Then take brackets and attached the table to the wood stripping. Remove the cabinet drawers and attach the cabinet back wall to the stripping as well.now both items are physically attached and you can travel with them with no problem. Since you will be using a dollie on top of the cabinet, the slight spacing the furring strip creates from the wall will not be too notoceable.

You could take the sofa back & place it along the back wall of your bed for extra cushion comfort. Just a suggestion, so you don't have to get rid of it.
