    Bless this man, he actually dared to do something legitimately innovative with the Guitar.
    And sadly many people didn't appreciate it.

    I really like Steinberger's statement- "When you have an idea and make that work, everyone comes and beats down the door". Steinberger's products are just amazing.

    At 8:38 Ned discusses getting top players and Eddy Van Halen. Talks about the 5150 album and the Trans Tremolo. Great Interview on one of the pioneers in the music industry. Bravo Mr. Steinberger!

    ive got one of his synapse bass's with me right now...and in 2 weeks time ill have the fretless version...both 5 and both a generation after this..im so glad I can get KEN SMITH AND ROTO sound double ball strings for them now...ive played everything else had probably 40 bass's in my life time..went back and forth but always seemed to just have this love of what he did, the BALLS he had to do it..they really are special instruments and sound fantastic, its absolutely true.

    I appreciate how Ned Steinberger isn’t a businessman, but he is able to convey the company’s profit margin from when this interview took place. Is it from when Steinberger Sound was located in Newburgh.
