For a place that big, I agree with you. Thing is, as what's in the video, there may be areas that may require a person to clean the panels. Good on them for the proper system (assuming they are using an RO/RI system), but shame on them for using an improper method and a squeegee, especially with the amount of dirt buildup on those panels. Always rinse to loosen up that debris before using the brush and for heaven sake, never use a squeegee. Glad to see they didn't use any type of cleaning chemical as well..

Not that those guys have much for rain gutters in what appears to be a desert area, they could use them at the base of the panels. It would collect most of the water that comes off the panels as well as any from the infrequent rainstorms. Have a settling tank at the end and just recycle the water for cleaning.

No, India *won't* overtake. Stop arguing. You aren't God and thus you can't know if India is more powerful in the future.
I've gone to India for a case study and I would say it's *not* a very "pleasant" experience from my point of view. I would say it's a *undeveloped* country and it's lacking food hygiene and alot of toilets. I've been to countries like Japan, Germany, Norway and China and they are doing much better then India. I don't see any reasons on why India will overtake other countries.
I'm not hating India but these are the truth.

You should first hose as much sand off without using the brush. You’re scratching the panels by pushing the sand across and into the glass. I’m curious though how they got them so dirty in the first place. Seems like someone doesn’t know their maintenance schedule.

They should get a wide enough brush to do a whole panel in one swipe....at this rate it will take a year to clean them all.

nuts how thorough they're trying to be with this... like you don't need the sqeegee i'm pretty sure, just kinda brush them all down really quickly every week or so. 10 seconds per panel tops.
only a fool would spend this much time cleaning something to spotless quality just for it to get dirty again tomorrow.
