    The real noticeable differences are cost, length & weight. The Pro R is heavier and longer. So the performance to weight ratio difference is extremely close. If you’re buying a toy like this does cost shouldn’t be a problem.

      Yes. The Pro R does have more length and a slightly longer wheel base, as well as a slightly thicker cage. They’re all good differences to note between the machines. At that point it becomes more of preference and more of a type of riding you do to where it’s an advantage/disadvantage

      They ride completely different. The Turbo R has a much livelier rear end the Pro R you can’t even tell it’s there. This is partially due to the longer wheelbase but also largely due to the 4wd system. Turbo R rear wheels spin a bit faster than the front vs the Pro R which is 1:1
      I haven’t really decided which I like better. The Turbo R is fun at virtually any speed the Pro R is kinda boring until you get north of 50mph but you can carry that speed through super rough terrain which is a blast in and of itself.

    We have the Turbo R 4 out in the Arizona desert. Its no slouch. Yet to be a situation where we regret its power and wish we bought the Pro. Moneys no factor. But we'll see in the dunes. Seems using that motor would be a bit small for it but hasn't, great machine.

      Get yourself an Aftermarket Assassins stage 3 kit for your Turbo R 4 and you will be smiling from ear to ear. It gives the Turbo R the power upgrade it needs.

      @@joinfullstackjust went with your recommendation last week lol. You're 100% right on. AA puts all the boost right at the crack of the throttle l3. Alot faster and funner machine! Cant wait to find 110 fuel to try L4!! But you knew what you're saying.

    Why do the turbo Rs have a bad clunk in the driveline?? I test drove a 2 seater and it had a bad clunk when you would give it gas. I also rocked a 4 seater and it had a clunk in the driveline also. Is this normal on these?? I drove a xp pro ultimate and it did not do it nor did a pro r

      Pro R has a drinking problem 😂. Some people remove a tube on the fill neck to allow 2 more gallon sor something like that volume wise.

    i just traded in a 24 XP premium on a 24 Turbo R premium and i wish i never did! The Xp was fun the Turbo R is not. The Turbo fell very! unstable can not kelp the front in on the ground.

    I always laugh when people say choose the Pro R for more power. I have a 4 seat Turbo R ultimate with a stage 3 kit on it, and I smoke pro R's 4 seat and 2 seat. Even with the stock tuning, I was neck at neck with the pro R 4 and barely losing to a 2 seat. The Turbo R is much easier/less expensive to make more power.

      Lol obviously the pro r comes with more options than the turbo, but I won't get into all that cuz you don't wanna hear it lol just say you couldn't get approved for the pro r man 😅

    • @joinfullstack

      @@GOT911BOOST lol nothing to do with that (my rig is paid for...). The primary reason was the Pro R was too long for my toy hauler. But I have been happy with the Turbo R. Plus, I didn't want to have to put 10k into it to make it fast. I ride with many pro R's and even after driving them I don't feel like I made a bad decision with the Turbo R.

      And what happens when you run a pro r with a stage 3 kit? I have a turbo s as well, and a r 4, both are dynamix machines. The shorter wheel base has its benefits at times, just like the longer does at times. With all of that I’ll take the 2.0 motor all day long.

    Avoid turbos on engines whenever you can.

  • @robertgomez5248
    @robertgomez5248 10 місяців тому

    For me, the main difference is that the Pro R sounds like the engine is about to explode 90 percent of the time being that you have two more cylinders contributing to the sound. This really gets annoying after a long ride. The Turbo R sounds very mannered and calm in comparison. I know everyone likes a loud machine, and so did I, but when you ride as many miles per week (50-200) that high revving engine sound becomes annoying. Also when you get into 4 seaters the wheelbase on the Pro R is just too long for the trails I ride.
