Can you use different strengths in cross and main, if you use one piece? Somebody said yes, but I can't wrap my head around how. Usually string 25 cross and 26 main. If there is no difference, why use two piece anyway?
What you say about starting crosses from the top makes sense, but do you do that even if the manufacturer specifies a pattern that starts crosses at the bottom? Wouldn't that also be a warranty issues?
Why in world would you NOT tie off on the MAINS?? Most rackets I string, are even labeled where to tie off and its always on mains. I rarely do 1 piece but when I do, I have tied on the mains for 30 years
I’m imagining that your are referring to how I start the mains when pulling tension. You can start it many different ways but in this particular video I am using the Yusuki Method which uses my starting clamp and fixed clamp to hold counter weight during my first fully tensioned pull on the opposite side. Perhaps I should do a video on different ways to start the mains when tensioning; my apologies if it for any reason made the video hard to follow. Thanks for watching!
Yes I can make a video about replacing grommets. Matching racquets is a little bit more involved so give me some time to make sure I fit all the info into a video for it.
@Anbo Here's a very thorough video I made on removing/replacing grommets. ua-cam.com/video/TPIcsFO9ZzY/v-deo.html I'll leave Zach the joyous pleasure of showing you how to match frames! LOL
I am still a fan of one piece. Just 2 knots looks better than 4 knots. Although one piece actually cost more time and uasually have to use Around the World method and if ATW then add another way more time. At least i try my best at least to restring mine with one piece. I don't play hybrid. The pity is i play pure aero and if one piece have to go ATW. Even thinging switch my racket to pure strike 16*19 so it will make my restring life much easy, hahaha....
How many times did you say "I'm not going to do that"? No explanation, you just tell us what you would do normally but you're not going to do that. Why not? What's the correct way? Is this just your way but not the standard way? Why tell us something that you're not going to do?
What is the advantage of using a starting clamp versus a starting knot? You saved the first cross until the end. Why?
Thanks i’ve actually been using this method for a year and my clients love it

Could you explain please why you skip first crosses on the short side thx 😊
how do you do this with the klippermate?
Could you describe in a bit more detail how you start things off on the mains? Thanks!

How about if its start at botto to head how can you start the cross on top if you will finish your main at the throat
ATW method
use around the world method
Fantastic video thank you!
What if you don't have a starting clamp?
starting knot
No need to change the pounds in cross strings ???? Keep the same or change
There is no need to change any of the tension settings from mains to crosses.
@@racquetology thank you same time need to increase 10% in tie knot in cross and main string
Can you show us to replace grommets and match rackets?

Did you play at flour bluff?
Yes! Your name also looks familiar did you attend Calallen?
Why one piece? what's the advantage?
It’s more of a preference for some players. As a stringer the only plus is less string length would have to be measured for the frame.
Nice

Well shoot, not exactly DIY level! Lol
