- For this video we are doing something a bit different. I’m sharing the places I used to live when I worked at Disney. This is a long term series I’ll be doing where I show all of the places I’ve lived before & the stories and memories that go along with them. This particular video will be extra deep & personal as this was a hard time in my life, but I couldn’t explain these locations without giving some background on my history. Being young and naive I too made mistakes in boyfriends and cut ties early on when I’d sensed they weren’t treating me right. Live, learn and move ahead to better things/people. Life is too short to be mistreated and taken advantage of, you found a good man in Jay ❤

Hi, Soul Sister! I’m not crying, it’s just allergies. 🥺 You just described my early 20’s to a tee. When I finally decided to live MY life for ME, it was the best time of my life. I barely scraped by, but I didn’t care. I had my own little shoe box apartment and my cat. No drama, no heartbreak, just me. It made me who I am today.❤️ We are cut from the same cloth, my friend.

Can't wait till you do your Arizona vid. Having just been down there a month back, we were headed to ... of course the best not-really fast food burger joint in America, In-N-Out in Scottsdale. I spotted the Frank Lloyd Wright Spire you highlighted in one of your videos from..."back in the day." Having never been on that corner, I exclaimed, "Oh I know this, Cris was here." So thank you for that, and thank you for this. There's a saying, "Man is not great because he's not failed; Man is great because he's not let failure stop him!" And you quite live up to that!

Great to learn more about Cris the Girl! When I graduated college I moved to Cagan Crossing also and worked part time at Disney. After 2 years I bought a house across 27. I always shop at Walmart though, rarely Publix. I’m cheap. 😂

Nice trip down memory lane. I ve watched Tampa jay for awhile and have watched your videos since the two of you got together. It was nice seeing some of the places you have lived. Glad you were able to get out of the abusive relationships and find someone like Tampa Jay.
Ah the growing pains. Sometimes they can be harder on some than others. But as long as we grow from them and don't beat ourselves up because of them we should be able to come thru it. And most importantly, we should not dwell on them. Learn to respect the bad along with the good and never let it make you bitter, just wiser. That's what makes the difference on being happy or sad, being able to let the pain go. Lastly, never compare your life to anyone else's. We have our own journey to go threw. You will never know why someone gets the lions share of happiness from birth to death and others not so much. You can only learn what works for you. I'm glad you quit the energy drinks because I was an avid Red Bull and Monster drinker and they gave me a good scare when my heart went nuts after a few. 😭
Sorry that you had that difficult time in your life but I'm so glad you were able to turn things around. And your right, these types of situations lead you to the best people in your life. Because of you deciding on picking up a camera, you were able to meet some really great and awesome people in your life like Tampa Jay, Chad and I 😝 your spooky spook friends, Bella and other cool content creators, bloggers/vloggers/artists. It's a beautiful thing how it all comes together. I always say "live one day at a time." It's cheesy but true. Chad grew up on pizza lunchables and I on the other hand loved the ham and cheese ones. I also liked blowing up the capris suns up with air after I was done.
Chad and I looked into Cagens Crossings back in 2010 when we were thinking of moving there after our college program. We even did a little tour of them. Back then they were brand new and some of the few shops that were open were that cat cafe and an ice cream shop called Simkas Sweets! Which has coloring pages advertising the cat cafe.
Another wonderful video, thanks for taking us down memory lane and we love learning new things about you so thank you for doing this cool video on places you used to live. It's a cool project/series. Love y'all mucho and can't wait to see the rest of this series.
i think youre an amazing person and youre so right aboit trials andtribulations and i can ralte to abusive times and friends but appreciating good times too!! i wish you and Jay the best !!!

As a Florida native who has been away for over 13 years, I appreciate the videos you and Tampa Jay do. It's great seeing places I remember and some I never knew in the first place. The autobiographical aspect of these videos show that you aren't just trying to be "influencers" and I applaud you for sharing so much of your lives. wow, this is deep video to watch Cris. At this point with UA-cam, you don’t need a man or married to have a place to live or fill your tank with gas and worry about that anymore. Follow your dream and be with the Animal Kingdom Disney Park and UA-cam . Also, I’m shocked you didn’t run across Doc Antell Baghavah an associate of the Tiger King. They are largest conservation of exotic animals.

A little trip down memory lane
Thanks for being so vulnerable with us all. It's not easy sharing tough times in our lives. But, you are correct, they make us stronger in the end, and help us appreciate the good times even more. I've been following your story with Tampa Jay for quite some time now. It's a beautiful story, and I can't help but see some similarities in the love story that has been mine for nearly 37 years now. You and Jay have had a great start to what I'm sure will be a long life together. Congrats on your love story coming true. My wife and I are looking forward to seeing you both grow and experience what true love has to offer.
I might have missed it but when did you live at Cagans Crossings? I lived a bit north off of 27. When I also worked at Disney. Did most of my shopping in the area as well.
I shared this video in a tweet & went into some detail there about how this video effected me but I realized I forgot to mention how much I loved the use of the acoustic guitar hit me right in the nostalgic feels in this video. But wasn't abused . But my Mom died when I was 23 And I raised my 11 year old sister. And came very very close to being homeless. I'm met my husband was married 43 year's 4 months he died recently. I'm now 70 . I have been on journey all through my life as most people. But thank you for sharing

Some tears back my husband st the time went to Tracie trailer school. He stated in apartment provided by school while I lived in my car for a month. Luckily I had friends who let me shower and get a bite to eat

Really loved this video Cris. It takes a lot to be open and vulnerable like that when talking about your past, especially when it may have not been so bright. I have been thinking of doing something similar to this soon (visiting where I grew up I mean, I haven’t been there in over 30 years) and hearing you and Jay’s experience with this video has really got me focused on doing it sometime soon.
