I'll admit that the only non-Battle Royale cosmetics I buy are jam tracks and very few instruments. I'll rarely buy any cars or boosts but most of my purchases are from Festival.
What I hate the most of the jam tracks prices is that there is not enough bundles I honestly think that every artist that have 3 o more songs should have a bundle. I've seen some arguments that 500 vbucks is an okay price but it really sucks that if you really like a genre or an artist most of the time you have to buy all individually which sucks and gets expensive really fast
It's cheaper to get cars in the rocket League pass and wait until Fortnite updates the game to allow you to access those cars. Even a better deal If you wait until a rocket League season starts, you can buy the fortnite crew which gives you access to the rocket League pass
Separate shops would help, but depending on the execution it might hinder the modes. To Epic, it would be better off if the cosmetics and other stuff for the other modes were crowding in the shop just for the chance someone will scroll past a song or car they like and buy it. Then they can try it out in BR, or maybe give it a whirl in the other game modes and get sucked into whatever is going on in them. If different shops exist, it's likely most players will just look at the "normal" shop and not take a peek at the Festival or Racing shops because they have no interest. I would prefer separate shops or at least a tab that takes me to the full shop like we have with the Jam Tracks, but thinking in a psychological-business sense I do get why this hasn't been implemented nor mentioned by Epic. Not saying it won't get changed in the future, but with the small updates here or there I don't think we'll see a massive change like this super soon. Best guess is we'll see a lack of LEGO sets beyond possible future LEGO passes, and a possible slow decrease in car cosmetic prices. I think Jam Tracks are more popular than you'd think, and Instruments have already received a decrease in price that makes them now at least fair despite their lacking uses (hoping for back bling/pickaxe usage in the future).
I don’t buy cars or LEGO sets, but I sometimes buy Jam Tracks if they’re songs I DO like, or even if they’re songs by artists and bands I actually like, such as Guns n’ Roses and U2. I hope they give us some Depeche Mode Jam Tracks at least, someday!

How I feel about the new cosmetics Cars - Never buying, RR sucks Jam Tracks - Too expensive, should be like 200. Lego Sets - Never in a million years, They should be real lego sets that come with codes for them in game
I think Lego fortnite needs more cosmetics to be Lego supported, that way it’s not just the skins but also the pickaxes, gliders, backblings, and even the cars. Might be a bit too much to ask, but so far all there is, is just the skins and some of emotes

I think the cars definitely sell well, especially because you can use them in battle royale, rocket league, and racing, the festival stuff, I’m sure the tracks sell solid as well since it’s just $5 for a song, the logo stuff, definitely not, it’s over priced for decorations that you can only use in 1 game made rather then the cars and music that can be used in more other ways
I did buy all the jamtracks when they first started releasing but quickly couldn't keep up with how many and how expensive they are! Now I will rarely buy one only if it's a song I really like. I have NEVER bought an instrument, anything for rocket racing or any crappy lego sets.
For songs, I’ve bought like 10. I think if I like the song then I’ll usually get it. I only get boosts for racing if they’re good and I never get Lego sets
I play Fortnite for Battle Royale and Save the World so I NEVER buy any of the Lego sets, Cars, or Music stuff it annoys me seeing it show up in the battle pass to cause I wish they would just give me something Im actually gonna use, also these modes made the item shop a chore to sort through so Im not the most enthusiastic about them in the first place.
Before we had lego, music, and car stuff in the battle pass, we used to have emoticons, sprays, banners, and xp in the battle pass, which nobody used. I think were better off nowadays than we were before
jam tracks and all that crap just takes up space so that there are no skins, doesnt help that fortnite only brings back the same like 40 items all the time too
@@regular-person People use Banners and EXP very often, In fact we use to get more stuff from previous battle passes when the free section existed. Now that's gone and passes are just filled with junk I'd consider even more useless then emoticons.
One thing I hate about the cars too is that because every model is different in terms of window shape and placement, some vehicles are genuinely pay to win because you can’t get shot through the window.
The jam tracks are easily the best selling items from the new modes, and there are some people (especially on the Festival discord server) who even buy *every* jam track. I only buy them if I love the song or see hilarious emote potential for battle royale, but I think they were a huge success overall, despite being a little bit overpriced. I think they should be 400 Vbucks. The lobby music update definitely helped their sales as well. Instruments are a much harder sell as they're pretty expensive and don't do as much. I've only bought a few (the best deal being that 5 instrument summer bundle for 1500 Vbucks), but I've enjoyed picking my favorite instruments for skin combos. I usually get them from the Festival Pass rather than the shop. The cars are definitely a one-and-done kind of deal. I can see people buying one car and no more after that, and that's also what I did for the most part. I bought the Endo since it was cheaper, and switched to the Centio after getting it for free. I think they're still too expensive, even after the price drops in C5S1. And the Lego sets... bruh. Who the hell is buying those? They are such a waste of Vbucks, it's not even funny. Those should've just been unlockable through gameplay, and the price tag for them is highway robbery.
Rocket racing is so bad because everyone crashes you if they made it so that people would just go through your car like in speedrun, then Rocket racing would be so much better. Fortnite festival is fun. Lego fortnite is probably my favourite game mode now in fortnite it's so relaxing, and now, with that, we can sleep and can change the settings. Legos fortnite is so much fun
One thing I dislike is the epic games songs being 500. I used to collect them before festival but 500 isn't worth it in my opinion, I am fine with the other songs having this price tho.
the rocket racing bundles are a huge bang for your buck. The ion boost bundle for example only cost around 300 vbucks for the COMPLETE SET while if you tried collecting all of those in rocket league it will take a painstaking amount of time waiting for every shop reset and each cost 150 credits except for titanium white which is 200 credits and burnt sienna and unpainted which cost 100. Not to mention back when trading was still in rocket league black ion costed 1000 credits because of it's clean nature while titanium white was 600. So it's safe to say rocket racing bundles are an easy steal.
Festival is ok with me because i always buy the jam tracks whenever they come out and most of them are my favorite songs anyways but lego and rocket racing on the other hand? Not so much lol.
I like to compare the Lego sets to what would essentially be their counterparts in the base creative mode: imagine if those sets like castles or the Cube related props and sets were locked behind a paywall on launch. People would be up in arms about that, and or just not care nearly enough about them to buy them. Plus the Lego sets don't even have anything to do with any of the other modes, which is something that all the other cosmetics do. By far and away the dumbest cosmetic decision Fortnite's made imo
only time i ever remember buying anything lego related was for the chewbacca skin, any car cosmetics i just get for free from playing rocket racing and for festival i buy the jam tracks to use as lobby music
@@mrgrsI mean yes and no like I see why people say they are to much money but at the same time I can see why it is that price but the price I think it should be is 400 but that’s what I think lol
To be fair I spend most of my vbucks on jam tracks rather than everything else bc I’m a Festival channel. Altho I do buy a car every now and then like the McLaren if I like it.
I feel like instead of having all that stuff in the normal shops there should be a separate shop for each mode so you can buy the Lego sets or the jam tracks or even the cars so it doesn’t defeat the entire purpose of the normal item shop
They should bring back the old game mode select screen when u first logged in, and then you only see the cosmetics of that mode in their own item shops
Jam Tracks need to drop to 250 the most. Cars need to be cheaper or have a bit more to be worth it. Lego sets need to be in larger and cost friendly. STAR WARS gave us free builds and a pass with a lot of builds for 1800v. LEGO Fortnite needs either seasonal passes or bundles similar to the LEGO starter pack.
So here's my opinion on the matter: I think festival was handled perfectly, especially if a certain leak is true. So being able to use the jam tracks in festival is a given and having them as lobby music is probably the main selling point, while the emote capability is a nice bonus. The instruments right now are kind of a mess, but supposedly we will be able to use them as pickaxes in the future (at least, they said that guitars are going to have that functionality, but it would be stupid to not include the others). The only complaint I'd have if this were true is that drums get the short end of the stick as you'd probably have to use the drumsticks and leave out the drum kit. Also the festival pass is... good enough. I personally think it should be 1000 vbucks like the other mini passes we get but not a huge deal. Rocket racing cars are... weird. I get that if you're gonna connect Fortnite and Rocket League, the cars should be the same price, but that's a really small demographic of people compared to those who just want a skin or a pickaxe for example, making this increased price more of a burden. I think a fix for this would be to make it so that cars are half of the price, but you can pay the other half to connect them to the other game (this goes for both Fortnite and Rocket League). Battle pass cars and free unlockable would be an exception to this rule but I think this would increase car sales by quite a bit (this also goes for any car-based cosmetics such as boosts and wheels). Finally, Lego. Skins are handled perfectly (aside from BR skins not being brought back to the shop if they don't have a lego style, but that's a different problem). Lego sets on the other hand... this is the worst idea Fortnite has ever had. They should be scrapped and anyone who bought them should be fully refunded (maybe even with compensation) and be free to everyone as a core part of the mode, not a cosmetic.
Honestly the only Cosmetics I don't buy are Rocket Racing stuff and LEGO. Lego is due to the fact that it's a Survival game so it doesn't feel right to just have Premium stuff, But Rocket Racing? God it's Useless AND Overpriced
I have only bought one car, the Mandalorian one. The only cars I would ever buy in the future of this game is a Deloreon or Lightning McQueen, I don’t see a need to own more than a few cars 😅
Pretty much people do buy these but barely any Lego stuff. Like if you play Rocket League, this is like a big advantage for ya since this is the only time u can get all colours of a vehicle, wheels, etc. for cheap (and faster since they sometimes put them out in the shop and appear as drops). Jam Tracks cuz u know. Festival is like the most popular metaverse mode out of the 3. I would have bought more if they weren't 500. I wished they were cheaper as music packs. At least 300 would be ok.
As someone who has an interest in cars and racing games. I feel like the Car cosmetics are targeted at me, But I can't justify spending $30 on a skin I can only use In one side mode. Then occasionally in battle Royale. I feel like if they reduce the Prices For jam tracks, Cars and lego sets they would sell Far better. More on the cars There's a significant amount of good racing games that are priced cheaper than one single car in the shop. I would even be satisfied If they sold the cars at the same price they sold regular skins between 1200 and 1600 Vbucks.
The only time I'd buy anything from the shop is when there's something really good. For me that would be any Avicii song/jam track or an F1 car, Ferrari, Nascar or other collab cars that Rocket League/Rocket Racing has in their arsenal. I could care less about Lego sets and the mode in general. Save the world is a better mode than lego imo
You'd have to wonder if all these new modes eventually stop getting as much content / support like stw as at this point are they really worth taking devs away from the event team for creating something that barely anyone plays ?
They NEED to make it so we can use our wraps to customize our cars! Wraps use to be used for EVERYTHING but nowadays it’s only really used for our weapons.
How humans work I am 99% sure when you give them a ton of options it's hard to choose what you want to buy and honestly when I have vbucks I have a hard time choosing anything to buy despite there being a lot. I think they should rotate jam tracks daily and have like 20 out max, a car and the three wheels and boosts also rotating daily, it would make it exciting. I see people buy these things a bit and think how the shop is is kinda a deterrent. Maybe more Lego passes instead of packs in the shop, they could even do a thing where you can buy and activate old passes so nothing is lost to time.
Hoping the sick effects in the paint schemes and wheels from Rocket League come to Fortnite, otherwise the vehicle skins will become stale. None of the festival pass artists have intrigued me. Only player rocket racing to get additional color options in fortnite. Will never buy jam tracks or lego cosmetics. Wayyy to expensive.
I bought two cars last season because of its theme, and I play rocket league semi regularly. I also enjoy Fortnite festival and I’ve bought a few songs because I’m holding out for projected guitar release
Funny enough i actually got the lego farm bundle gifted to me, so if they are planning to do something with lego sets i hope that at least we'll get a compensation in case they become free
I play festival for the free back blings. If you have the holoback item it makes any emoticon a back bling. An in festival their often amimated too. The emotes are kinda cool too.
The car bodies are good prices but only if you play rocket league too! To get all the colours for one car in rocket league costs more than they sell the cars for in Fortnite. So if you play rocket league too you get the cars in rocket racing, Fortnite and rocket league and that’s not the worst value but not everyone plays rocket league too
I've never even played Lego or racing mode lol but i love festival. As someone who has spent way too much on jam tracks I agree they should be cheaper. I bet they'd sell even better if they were only 300
I barely play Lego anymore. I will play Rocket Racing if I want a break from BR, but I agree with ITalk. Once you buy one car, you're really good. I bought the Wastelander SUV as well. I won't buy another car unless they come out with a Mustang or John Wick's car(Which was a question asked to me in a recent survey). This season I'm not playing Festival. Nothing against I Karol, not my jam. When Snoop comes out, I will get and play this mode more
Jam tracks are doing good in sales if u get on a fresh account and play you'll run into lots ppl with songs. Or if you play creator maps that have jams active you see ppl jamming to songs.
People are definitely buying jam tracks and cars. Cars are very apparent in BR, Racing, and some creator maps with cars in them. Me personally, I only buy jam tracks if I genuinely like the song. Even if I don’t buy cars, although I do buy the trail boosts since they’re cheap and cool: it’s nice to have new cosmetic options that are mostly universally used throughout every mode.
I bought the diesel car when it was released for 4k because i liked the mode and the car, i got refunded the difference when they lowered the price. Only car i bought and i use it and the mode regularly but the only car i plan to buy unless they do crossover vehicles.
One thing I wish was possible, I will say I don't really play the other modes so take my opinion with a grain of salt. But I wish there were 2 types of bundles when releasing new skins that have instruments. One with the instruments and one without so that way if I don't like the instrument I still have the ability to get the cosmetics that I like
I rarely buy songs or cars. Cars only if they really catch my interest and songs only if they're songs I know/like, which doesn't happen that often since they mostly focus on "radio songs"
I have bought a dozen or so jam tracks, but only songs I am excited about and are fun to play. I play them first when they first release and are featured to test them out, and then I am pretty particular about which ones I will actually buy. That being said, having them also be lobby music has had me more interested in buying them. Not buying the instruments outside of the passes, but the emotes are fun though, and usually only 200 VBucks. Cars and lego sets, not at all, completely agree. I just use the car that you received from the CH5S1 BP and thats it. I think not having the decals transferable is a big missed opportunity too. Lego is not for me at all as well, at least buying sets that is.
I used to play Rocket League and collected cars for the past 5-6 years. Some of the car bundles that they are releasing now is outrageously overpriced. I was able to purchase a non painted octane zsr for $1.50 a few years ago… crazy

i think its because unless you have the recources in the mode, you wont be seeing those items you purchased for a while.
Bro described the 2 week Minecraft phase in Lego Fortnite
I don’t buy cars or LEGO sets, but I sometimes buy Jam Tracks if they’re songs I DO like, or even if they’re songs by artists and bands I actually like, such as Guns n’ Roses and U2. I hope they give us some Depeche Mode Jam Tracks at least, someday!

I think Lego fortnite needs more cosmetics to be Lego supported, that way it’s not just the skins but also the pickaxes, gliders, backblings, and even the cars.
Might be a bit too much to ask, but so far all there is, is just the skins and some of emotes

@@MacAMohe’s a memeber
It feels like they give out too many free instruments, people are probably less likely to buy something that they’re already getting for free.
I own about 140 Jam Tracks and most fill lobbies I join have tracks I don’t own so they’re definitely getting sales
I love your profile picture burpy boy
the only track I ever bought is Buddy Holly for the meme, and there are very few songs I'd actually spend 500 V-Bucks for
I like to compare the Lego sets to what would essentially be their counterparts in the base creative mode: imagine if those sets like castles or the Cube related props and sets were locked behind a paywall on launch. People would be up in arms about that, and or just not care nearly enough about them to buy them. Plus the Lego sets don't even have anything to do with any of the other modes, which is something that all the other cosmetics do. By far and away the dumbest cosmetic decision Fortnite's made imo

Why do I get the feeling in 2 years we're going to be talking about how epic is planning to shutdown these 3 modes
6:37 my man voice cracked there
Why would anyone buy Lego cosmetics when most of the best stuff is free? I can’t really say that for the other two modes
You could use a jam track as a lobby track and use a car skin in Battle Royale as well, so it's pretty useful
Cars are much more popular among people who play Fortnite and Rocket League as the items are usable in both games
I agree that the lego sets is gatekept content. I have bot a few but not all. I think $20 for not even dlc content is wayyy too much
Jam Tracks need to drop to 250 the most.
No No yes
I’m loving the item shop website… no headache gibber jabber…
So here's my opinion on the matter:
I think festival was handled perfectly, especially if a certain leak is true.

Lego should put it in the crew would make people buy the crew more often
I think Item shop is just a mix off all 3 collaborations into one and it’s making the item shop dull 😑
I personally love the car cosmetics I just recently finished the rocket pass season 15 so I’m able to use the Nissan Fairlady Z RLE edition in BR
Depends on the cars.. they should do some fast and furious collabs... batmobile colllabs...
I bought 2 jam tracks, and thats pretty much it if it comes to all these modes
