Volkswagen ID Buzz drive--THE FUTURE OF VW

- The VW ID is a family of vehicles that Volkswagen has introduced at auto shows around the world. VW has promised to not only show and drive these vehicles but also produce them in just a few years. The First to market wil be the ID hatchback, similar in size and price to the VW Golf but will have 300km or 400km range. The ID will arrive in Europe in 2020 and latr that year VW will produce a crossover vehicle on the same MEB electric platform called ID Crozz. In 2022 the ID Buzz, or Bus will be sold worldwide. All of these vehicles are scheduled to be fully autonomous by 2025 and the range can be extended to 600km of range with additional battery capacity.

I think my car is a concept, I have a 2015 Hyundai genesis and it squeak and rattle like crazy especially the sunroof.

They'll all sell no problem as long as they have sufficient range (500 km+?). Ford, GM & Chrysler better get their acts together or they will be pulling out those bankruptcy papers again.
Andrew H I don’t think just range is an issue? What about quick chargers? Might be a tough sell in North America if they don’t have as many quick chargers as Tesla Superchargers.
Mike Wright true but hopefully that will catch up. Would be nice if non Tesla's could use their chargers.

2022...lol, his van will never be available. Its the free VW spin they've been doing since 1990 for free publicity. VW has nothing else but the van fan love to prey on its consumers. This video and a few others on the VW EV van have been posted over a year ago. Guess what, VW was never going to make it available, they've got nothing up their sleeves.

Yeah I think I'll opt-out of the whole autonomous AI option; I don't know why they're trying to force EVERY CAR OR AUTOMOBILE alike to be *ONLY* autonomous by 2025!
Love the OLD VW Kombi/Samba van. I hope they can reshape the rear of this ID BUZZ into that old organic shape.

Volkswagen ID Buzz is the ideal EV platform with lots of space for batteries that can maximize range
This thing won't sell good because it is going to be very expensive, very heavy, won't score more than 4 stars in crash tests, inefficient due to it's shape, surely not fun to drive. Also I doubt they will make it self driving. It is a rich mom minivan.
I really hope that they could design this for people in wheelchairs

I believe this will be the third retro bus concept they were/are totally gonna build. They just need everyone to buy up all the excess current and terrible vw beetles. Just check out the articles on the VW website. They've already walked back the coming in 2020-2 statement to an indefinite maybe.

I'm interested in the Crozz. It looks like my gen1 Volt. Lol it's down to Model Y vs. Crozz.
Edit: Falcon Wings as cool as it looks and performs on MX looses the ability to store gears on top for traveling. The Buzz demonstrates that well in the video.

This is my fav color. Back sides are beautiful, front side is not much attractive. Every company shows concept and look nice. then produced ugly one. why not build small campervan with this model like california or westfalia campervan. In north america most campervans are ugly and junks, specially built with american vans .
Just make the concept reality people want this sleek modern designs in vehicles why are car companies holding back for ?

2022 is four model years away. That is far enough away such that many technical, business and political factors could prevent the vehicle you're showing from being sold in NA. Given the current state of the charging infrastructure in the US - EVs can really only be viable as 2nd cars - for people who have garages. Perhaps that's enough of a market, but I have strong doubts.
But does it come with a diesel???
These vehicles look surreal and cartoonish. It's like they were pasted onto real life footage. They look like computer-generated objects from 10-15 years ago.

I'm anti-electric as in Northern Ontario there are (is) one place that I know of to recharge, and what about off-road four wheeling, and there is also our ridiculously high electricity rates to consider.......I'll stick to gasoline powered vehicles!!!!
Electricity rates will always be a shit ton cheaper than gasoline. So goodluck with your gasoline vehicle.
I think these will be a flop because they came too early. Probably big for urban areas but not as your primary car.

Most useless review I have ever seen. The little should be changed to shooting team and strategy review, or state of California streets review; this is the first time i do write a review and I have hopped You tube would have blocking option
