It is incredible to think Sparks have been playing This Town for at least 42 years and still sounds so fresh. Now I cannot imagine No 1 Song WITHOUT Alex baritone. At 50+ I came to FF late, but adore Michael and Take Me Out. FFS best surprise outcome is to discover my passion for music extends to contemporary bands from The 1975 to Underworld. I was wrong to write off all bands post 2000. Unlike Bowie, for eg, Sparks climax has crossed generations. An unthinkable achievement by both bands !
