Congrats. got mine a week ago! Love it, the track exhaust is disgustingly loud.
I have had Minis with RunFlats and without, ....my current Mini doesn’t have them I can tell yeah the run flats defo make for a firmer ride ...
Yeah the runflats really aren't great, not sure why they put them on the likes of the JCW, takes away from the experience a bit in my opinion
Thanks for all the reviews, very helpful. You mentioned about a lot of time in town traffic, 90% of my driving is in town with lights everywhere, would you say that the auto box would be a better choice for town driving? Thanks.
Thanks for watching! Really appreciate it 👍 Yes personally I would say if you're sat mostly in traffic the auto box may be atleast more preferable and probably would be the better option. The clutch isn't particularly heavy in the JCWs but it's heavier than most so when you're doing a lot of stop/start driving it does start to get uncomfortable. The auto box will just take off that extra strain and should make it more enjoyable for low speed, stop/start driving. Hope that helps!

Any issues with the car since you posted this video? I'm looking at a Jcw but I'm concerned about mini's reliability.
Nothing major, overall they are very reliable cars I would say. The only thing that did happen was when I went to get a brake fluid service, the bleed nipples on every caliper had seized to the point they couldn't get them off without snapping. So I got 4 new calipers under warranty. Bit odd to me that they seized that badly on a 2 year old car but as I say, nothing extra for me to pay. The F56 generation is very well built so as long as you look after them, I don't see why you'd have any major issues. We will actually be filming an ownership summary video very soon so stay tuned for that!
The 'alcantara' on the seats is actually "Dinamica" which contains recycled plastic bottles! #funfact

If you want boot space you buy an estate, nobody buys a mini and wants boot space.
Yep you're absolutely right, was just highlighting the point that you shouldn't expect a large boot

@@FootToPedal bud if you do all the chrome including door handles, petrol cap, belt line etc. It will look unreal. Did my r56 and it looks a beast.
