Gondolier is a great scent from PAA I have a set from a while back when he used the good bottles that you didn't have to strangle to get a couple drops out of. I don't use it often because I don't want it to run out but it is fantastic when I do break it out! Maybe I'll have to pick this one up from Pete so I can use it as a replacement.
Agreed! Gondo is amazing! And this would be a perfect backup. I've thought about taking a small drill bit to the PAA bottles lol.

Well, it sounds like another winner of a collab soap and that's awesome for Pete and Rich! I'm still never sure on scents, because I have an odd taste in scents and even if a ton of people like it, doesn't seam to mean I will. I still haven't run into one that has topped Seaforth Spiced for me and maybe I like that one so much because it just hits a lot of things I like. This one does sound like a good one and I'm sure I try it sometime. Wow, that is a really cool brush and I think I'd like a knot like that. That razor must have come out when I grew my ZZ Top beard, because I don't remember it at all. It might even be too aggressive for me and I like using shavettes. Take care!
I need to get my shit together and send you a GIANT sample box. That razor is definitely one of the most aggressive razors I've ever used. I was afraid of the poor lighting and uneven footing making it harder than it was.

The blood oath is sweet. I have the S2 Innovator but wish I spent the extra and got the Ultra Lux. Nevertheless it is still outstanding. HC&C makes high quality offerings. Nice artwork and labels as well. Good to see the beard slayer.
I just got my hands on a Innovater, haven't used it yet. It's in a beautiful handle. Rich does amazing work!

I haven't smelled either of the scents you mentioned, but they sound hood enough to make sure I try yo sneak a spray the next time I sm at the shopping centre.

Legend Intense and Legend Spirit are two of my favorites from the Legend line, not taking anything from the original. I'm sure the apple comes through nicely and I'd certainly try this! Love the view, too!
I've tried a sample of Intense but not Spirit, I want to though.

@@Tobins_throwbacks -- Spirit is like Montblanc's version of Invictus, but is a bit different. Still great for like a summertime vibe. 😊

@@Tobins_throwbacks-- Personal preference, I love Invictus more. But honestly, that is a tough call because I'd also say that it is fine to have both. It is the drydowns that separate both of them. Spirit has this suede-ish, cashmere wood drydown that totally separates itself from Invictus in the base. Up top, both of them are similar in profile, but I'd say Invictus is more my speed for a summer scent whereas Legend Spirit can probably be considered like a hybrid Summer / Fall scent because of the base. It is really based on how you'd like the drydowns of both of them. A better comparison would be Legend Spirit vs Lacoste L.12.12 White which also has suede in the base. I'd recommend sampling Spirit when you get a chance to see how it works for you.

I just got Rise on Tuesday, along with 5 other HC&C soap/splash sets (including Year of the Dragon and HC & C Mjölnir. And after I ordered them, I bought a bottle of the MontBlanc Legend EDP. I haven't opened the EDP yet. The soap's scent is subtle off the puck. Hopefully it will wake when agitated... and hope that the EDP is awake from the spritz.

Where can you buy these brushes? I’ve looked for them online before but can’t find them. His Etsy only has two products and their just knots no handles or anything.
In the description is a link to his Instagram and Facebook group. I'd recommend starting with sending him a message on Instagram. The knot exceeded all my expectations and this loaner brush makes me wish I had bought one sooner.

@@Tobins_throwbacks Yeah I actually sent him a message on instagram about a week ago maybe a little longer and I never got a response. I have been wanting to get one of his brushes for a while but it appears that there is no way for me to get into contact with him.
Oh man, that's the same boat that I'm in. I sent him a message last week on IG asking about a brush and haven't heard back. I think he must be super busy with work etc. If/when he contacts me I'll mention our conversation. I know over the past year or so he has slowed down with brushes.
