Great video. What’s your opinion on CETUS? The Main DEX for Sui, at such a small market cap I feel like it’s undervalued considering it’s top 2 in TVL 🤔
I'm always very sceptical about TPS claims since they haven't happened to be true for any chain yet. Also seems like sui have adapted stuff I've heard from other bkockchains sponsored transactions for instance I'm thinking near protocol. But the validator requirements are steep hardware wise. Do you know if it just as hard to make tax tokens on sui as on sol?
I like Near. Yes it has sponsored transactions and some other similar features. Not sure about tax tokens on Sui vs Sol. Thanks for stopping in Viking.
@@DeFiDivvy I'll probably pay someone to do R&D for various chains and how to make one I feel is better that's why I'm always interested in the tech besides usage and investment wise
These new block chains appear so much faster than say Xrpl , which was itself super fast in 2018. I guess SUI will be relatively slow in 2030? I guess building blockchains from the bottom up makes it easier to incorporate new updated tech in line with current best standards. It surprises me Eth can compete against say SOL. Old chains are all the time been superseded by better tech. Yes I can make money investing in the latest tech, but how much are these new techs safe. Why are btc eth and xrp still a thing? Are they still a thing?
Great points, Julian. When I put on my developer hat I'd want to work with the best tech for the task at hand. When I put on my entrepreneur hat I'd want to build a venture where there are a lot of users to market to. Regarding Bitcoin: I believe its existing tech matches its timeless narrative: "Sound money principles and digital gold, because bankers cannot be trusted". In my opinion the best tech for BTC's use case is decentralized issuance through proof of work mining. BTC functions more like property and most property takes a lot longer than 10 minutes to settle.
@@DeFiDivvy I am not a techie, so this may be nonsense. I think BTC will be wrapped and integrated and will go on existing as legacy liquidity in the system, but its dominance will evaporate as utility steps up. Value will always be attached to utility. In the end BTC has very low utility compared to what will be driving the market. BUT as an investors in highly volatile nascent we are looking for medium term gains, which means investing in things with good narratives that will catch the eye of today's investors.
Lol bro who cares about later. I just need sui to pump so suipad will pump more harder and I make my money and get out. No crypto is worth it during the dip even bitcoin
Thanks. I have been building my SUI holding.
You are welcome Julian. Thanks for stopping in!

I haven't taken a close look at CETUS yet. I'll put it on my list of deep dives. Thank you for watching, and for the question.
Remarkable content. Absolutely informative. Thank you, Matthew.🙏
Thank you for watching 🙏
