I was there in 1985 it was fun,I borrowed my step father vehicle and rode over the other side of the freeway ,my parents were at a Cb radio convention and vacationing around cave city,I rode the Alpine slide and went horseback riding for a half hour ,but the next we all went and check the cave there that was cool I went 2 1/2 miles under ground.
Skinned my leg up real bad on the slide when I was 10 or so on vacation, kinda ruined the rest of the vacation for me. No one ever told me how to use the brakes or anything just "push it forward to go". I think my older brother figured it out(or just read the labels on the cart lol) cause he took like twice as long to get to the bottom despite the fact that I flipped over and had to get back on.
This place is great. There is still somewhere you get a friendly smile with everyone you meet!
My little brother, Shannon, rode the alpine slide with us in 1986 or so. He loved it. He was always a little slow, and this made him not as slow.
We were there in 2014. It was a lot of fun. You just have to be careful, that’s all.

Same happened to me. Those turns are crazy when you go fast.
