Ford Fiesta Mk6- Programming Remote Keys to Passive Anti Theft System (PATS)

You can programme a new remote key to Anti-Theft System (PATS) of your car, you'll need working two original keys to do this. Turn ignition from position "0"to "II" with first original key wait few seconds, when PATS indicator red light goes out take out the key and do the same with the second original key, finally do the same with the new key. To test turn on the ignition with your new key, car should start and red PATS indicator light will go out within 10 seconds.

Hi, the procedure is defined to be working with at least two working keys, probably it is because new car delivered from dealer to customer with two original keys. Without leaving outside those original keys this procedure is defined to introduce additional new keys (up to four for Fiesta). Wish you good luck..!

Hi, remote operation of doors is option during manufacturing for some models of Fiesta. So, before proceeding you must be sure that your car is capable of receiving the signal of a remote key and decoding the signal. Do you have buttons on the original keys of your car?

@@handyguy6273 no, my original key is just a standard no buttons key! Someone changed the conforr module on a older ford focus amd now has remote key on his ford. I was curious if ill chnage the module from an fiesta who has remote keys will work. Thank you!

I guess that might be possible, the "General Electronic Module (GEM)" needs to be changed and original remote key or keys working with the replacement GEM is necessary. If you can find both in working order from a donor Fiesta, it's a jackpot for you..!! Also, must keep fingers crossed that signal wiring is present from GEM to the door locks..! I have posted videos about locating and removing GEM module. If your GEM module is remote capable there should be a frequency value (i.e. 433 MHz) indicated on the label of GEM module...
