As a revert Muslim from Ireland, I struggle to see why Muslims have moved to the west, what is the intent? 9 times out of 10 it is Dunya. Jeopardizing the din of your family for dunya is such a bad mistake. Why bring your daughters to a society that has billboards of half naked women in their advertisements. You're completely deluded if you think your lineage will not be diluted to an extreme degree after a few generations in the west. I have every intention to leave the west. Muslims living in non-muslim countries badly needs to make hijra, not only for themselves but to save the Iman of their next generations. I read a news that showed a lot of reverted muslims in the west couldn't save their children from returning back to kufr. The environment is very important.

@@Mrgreen2558 That's true as well. Actually we should first get out of the dream of "living our whole life as an employee". This is vicious. It keeps you running the rat race till death and also never lets you take a breath, think about the life, etc.
We all should have a target of starting business. This is the only way one could get economic freedom. And if you master the skill of doing business, no matter where you live, it won't make any difference. You could literally filter out gold from ashes.
So, first learn business. And then migrate to some easy to live muslim countries like the African or South Asian countries.

Allah has not made it impossible. Please do not deter others from Hijra because you don’t have full understanding yourself. I don’t have money to my name. No children. No husband. Alhamdulillah I am training in UX Design with intentions to become a valuable freelancer and once the income picks up and I’ve saved about $25k I’d like to make Hijra to (most likely Malaysia) as soon as possible! I can’t begin to talk about the things I fell into in the U.S. Alhamdulillah Allah mercifully turned me back to him with full commitment in my heart and intentions. I fear for my future children and grandchildren. We should not be dumb to think we will see righteous Muslims EVERYWHERE and doing the right things! & thinking we won’t see haram there, HOWEVER as far as safety, what is allowed, the illegal government and finance activities and what’s available and what is becoming rampant in fitna, the Muslim country is better for our Dunya and akhirah and to seek Allah pleasure in our affairs.

In the coming years we may see larger numbers of Muslim “Muhajireen” fleeing conflict, poverty or degeneracy. But will we have adequate “Ansaar” to welcome them into their homes and lands?
The sad truth is that many Western countries are more open to accommodating Muslims on a long term basis than Muslim countries, even if this is born out of desperation due to demographic collapse.
My home nation of Malaysia until now has no official legal protections for refugees. If you have money however, you can get a “second home” visa and be an “expat”. Hijra is only for the wealthy, and those too poor to leave are left to their fate.

As for those whose souls the angels take while they are wronging themselves [in the midst of disbelief, the angels] will say to them: “In what [state of faith] were you [in life]?” They will say: “We were [utterly] helpless in the land.” [The angels] will say: “Was Allah’s earth not spacious [enough] for you to migrate therein, [away from disbelief]?” It is these, then, whose [final] abode shall be Hell-and what an evil destination it is! (Qur’an, 4:97)
Under the explanation of the above Qur’anic verse, Imam Ibn Kathir (may Allah have mercy on him) mentions:
This verse was revealed generally about everyone living in the midst of idolaters while able to migrate and unable to establish his Din. He has wronged himself and committed haram by consensus based on the explicit pronouncement of this verse. (Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 4:228)

ASA. Money is very important to have but frankly the right race would have to be seriously factored in because a lot of Muslim countries especially in the Gulf have major racism issues unless you’re famous. You can quickly find yourself demeaned and disrespected and your kids made fun of without any way to hold those accountable.
It’s very disheartening how folks will just say the wildest racist and bigoted things to your face and if you point out this ignorance they will try to act like they didn’t mean any harm while they remind you of your place. It will effect your pay, benefits, and future opportunities for sure based on your race and gender. So if you don’t have an American passport with a great degree from a top school tread carefully. Even then some random guy with a fraction of your education will be offered significantly more than you because Arabs and Africans love to paradise their white employees like a flashy new car to others
It’s very strange. This doesn’t mean you can’t have a good life you just don’t want to have blinders on. These folks are human not gods. They’re not better than you nor you them.

Assalamualaikum. I live in Jakarta, Indonesia. It's not a Moslem country because we don't take the regulation from Syariah law, except for few laws like nikkah and waris. But yes, most people here are Moslems, even though not everyone really knows about what the aqidah of a Moslem is. But our government is really supportive to Islam. I can see for the last five years Islamic schools that teach about Islam following the Salafus Sholih are established in abundant, and we can seek Islamic knowledge anytime anywhere. Most women are covered in hijab, though not everyone knows how to cover properly, at least you won't see women walking half naked in public (except if one chooses to visit the big shopping centers). We don't have beach where you see women in bikini (except of course if one chooses to go to Bali - which most residents aren't Moslem). At least to me, this is a safe place to raise my kids Islamically. Of course, fitna is everywhere but actually we can always choose to avoid it. If you are English native speaker, you can try to join institutions that teach English online or offline so you can get income from it. The income is not much, but the spending is not much either. However, every country has regulations about immigrants. Yes, our government of course need to make sure that if you want to stay here for a period of time, you'll be able to support yourself and your family financially. But again, the living cost here is so low especially if you choose to live in rural areas. May Allah ﷻ make everything easy for all the Moslems who have intention to make hijrah.

I went to Malaysia but the regime only wants wealthy chinese immigrants and wants to turn the rest of Malaysia into Singapore. Baraka Allahu fik dear brother. May I give a personal experience just to elaborate. I would like to say that I moved to a Muslim country not with the intention of hijra per se but happy to connect with the oumma of that country and culture. I did not find the oumma I was hoping for and since then have been nostalgic about the oumma I have left in Europe. I would like to tell people that plan to do hijra that learning the local language is very important (as well as standard arabic) because you may not easily be able to connect with the Muslims from that country or understand their dourous, understand the khotbas at the masjid, etc and that may create isolation and frustration. I would also like to add that you may want to connect with like minded Muslims and you may struggle finding people that are interested in the same religiously related topics as you because coming from different cultures, the issues/ struggles you face may be very different from the ones they face. They may understand but they may not relate. Being a convert these two issues are my biggest struggles yet. I have come to the conclusion that hijra may not necessarely mean moving to a Muslim country necessarely but moving to a place anywhere on Earth where in our personal reality, we can practice our faith best. Allahu 3alam. Please correct me brother if my thought process is religiously speaking incorrect.

@@agle3324 I live in Morocco and before that I was in France. Moroccans speak French as their first foreign language so I came here thinking it would be easy to connect with Moroccan practicing muslims and attend dourous (lectures) in French. This is not the case. You have to speak darija and understand fussha arabic (standard arabic) to understand lectures and khotbas at the mosque or in people's homes. Although people are very nice and welcoming like any Arab nations mashaAllah, there is not a big enough community of practicing Muslims that speaks French or English only,. I heard from a lecture of Nouman Ali Khan that this seems to be the case also in Arab Muslim nations colonized by the English. We would think that an infrastrucre exists for people that have done hijra already but it is often not the case. I have spoken to many different groups in Morocco who have told me that it,s impossible for them to implement something for the French/ English speakers because they often stay just a few years in the country before leaving again.
Another important point to take into consideration when doing hijra, is that we come with our culture, our background and we find people that although they speak the same language as us (French or English), it doesn't mean we will see things in the same way since they also practice an islam that is intertwinned with their own culture and background. I will just talk about Morocco as it's the country I know : people here look up to the West. Therefore, we see two groups of people : the ones who ignore their religious heritage and try as best they can to ressemble the West (dresscode, speaking only French or English, views and opinions, abandoning the religion), the ones who hold on to their religious values and practice a more conservative Islam but also don't try to learn more about their religion because they don't feel the drive to do so. Or if they do and this a unfortunately a vast minority of people, the religious topics that they will be interested in will be far different from the ones a convert like me or a person that grew up in the West would be interested in. At the end of the day, I feel that in order to increase our iman, we need to be around believers that have similar struggles as our own and that can help us in overcome them. Therefore I would suggest to really connect with the oumma (community) of the country you want to go to before doing hijra. Allahu 3alam.

that's probably their biggest advantage, other than that most things are horrible, i went to study in the UK (it's difficult to get a passport there) and even though there were some good things in the UK the good outweighed the bad, first time i saw drugged out people was in the UK.
the first time i saw a man hit a woman and go on a brawl was in the UK and the list goes on.
so my plan is to go to canada, complete my studies further and take a citizenship while am at it. at most i will get a work in my profession for a year or 2 so i can say i worked in a canadian company as a canadian which will boost my chances of getting a job in the middle east and a good paying job at that.

@Muhammad France, Poland and Norway are in a very bad situation. In France there is a nationwide burqa ban, unfortunately even the hijab is banned in schools and government institutions/buildings. Also in French schools these disgusting caricatures of our beloved Prophet are shown. Poland is full of Islamophobic people, for example politicians there have called not to accept Muslim refugees/migrants. In Scandinavian countries like Norway, it's common for practicing Muslims to have their children taken away by the youth welfare office, I'm not sure, but the burka may be banned in Poland and Norway. From an economic point of view, the UK and Germany are of course better than Poland.
A very important issue is of course security, which is the responsibility of the authorities and the police. I would say that in Germany the police are not as Islamophobic as in Poland, France, Norway, but in Germany some police officers are Islamophobic scumbags. But don't worry, the situation is better compared to India, for example if you are attacked and you make a complaint, the police will take that complaint and then legal action will be taken against the offender who attacked you and the offender will be punished.
I don't think it's haram if you migrate from India to another country because India is a majority Hindu country so I think it's allowed. If you go to Germany to study, I advise you to go to West Germany, because East Germany has the most racists in the former communist areas, so it would be difficult to find a job there.
i would definitely advise against emigrating to germany because uk is much better, i also think it will be easier for you to study in uk since you already understand english in germany i think the universities teach in german . If you go to college, I think you'll have a good education, so thanks to the points system you have a good chance of getting accepted in England. For example, if you marry a woman with a British passport, you can obtain citizenship after 3 years of marriage.
I will now go into the differences between Germany and France, Norway and Poland one last time: on the whole one can say that Germany is better because the burqa is still allowed in Germany, although a ban is being discussed, but until now is still allowed. In addition, you can wear a hijab in Germany as a pupil and/or student.
I'm now going to specifically explain why UK is the best of countries, I'm sending a second message for that because I don't know if you can technically send that much at once

This whole concept of hijra out of the west doesn't make sense for the overwhelming majority of muslims. I can't remember who it was but I remember some current day scholar said something like "Those who are thinking about hijra shouldnt do it and should help their communities become closer to Allah, and those who aren't thinking about hijra maybe should make it, but because they aren't as strong the thought of doing so would never cross their mind."

If one is not able to practice his religion openly then he must perform hijrah whether his parents accompany him or not, and this is evident from what has reached us of the narrations of hijrah from the Sababah and even the Prophet Ibrahim.
As for hijrah that is recommended, then the service of the parents is better than it and should not be given precedence over it.
Keep in mind that there is some disunity concerning this matter, some scholars believe that hijrah is compulsory even if you are able to openly practice your deen, although the majority suggest it is recommended with the condition of being able to practice the deen and being safe from doubt and desires.
