Hi, this circuit can reproduce the operation of the outside lights of an aircraft, in particular the Navigation lights, Strobo lights and Beacon lights... The circuit is based on a NE555 and a 4017 IC

Hi, on the board I have marked with + and - the pins of the LEDs.. put positive on + and negative on -

You said, "This PCB has been realised in the most compact way possible". In fact, it has many square centimetres of unused space - far from optimum. If this JLCPCB at work, I would never use them for my designs.
Yes, because I use standard components, if you redesign this board with SMD components you could reduce its size up to four times. however JLCPCB didn't design this PCB.. I designed the PCB in this way and JLCPCB just made the PCB according to my specifications.
@@Stefano91ste And I agree with you here. It all depends on how you design the card. I like your design! Nothing is better than how you do it yourself. I did the same with my PCB. Keep up your PCB design and ideas!

Hello, i have watched several times video this is the easiest thing for rc plane to do and best explained (components that need where to order pcb ...) i am not an expert in electronics making pcb board is a problem for me so i have a couple of questions:
1.can two leds be put on one output or does a stronger resistor have to be fitted?
2. Can a Cree led diode be used instead of the PWR led diode to serve as a taxi light
3. What does this frequency controller look like (What mark) and where can it be added to slow down the strobe light a little?

1) Yes, you can put 2 leds on the outputs, but not more.
2) Yes, as long as the cree led does not need more than 2.5V to switch on
3) The frequency is generated by the NE555, to change it you need to vary the resistance from 33K with a greater or lesser. (Better put a 50K potentiometer)

1) Yes, but the light intensity may be lower.
2) If the brightness is low, to make it work at 5V replace the two 330 ohm resistors with 220 ohm. Replace the 470 ohm resistor with a 330 ohm resistor

Hi, the only solution would be to add power transistors to each led, but the circuit would become heavy and absorb a lot of current
Is there any way to make the strobes and position lights blink slower? It looks a bit fast in your video. Sorry, I don't have much experience with building electric circuits :D
Hi, yes is possible but it is necessary to reduce the frequency generated by the NE555, I should design a second version of this circuit giving the possibility to adjust the flashing speed

I have ordered the PCb but u inserted 100v 1uf , but u mentioned in the board 1uf 25v also unable to find the 1uf 25v capacitor in the Online Market

Hi, You need to use a 1uF electrolytic capacitor (25, 50 or 100V is always good) - I wrote 25V to make sure that you don't use a capacitor with tolerance less than 25V

Se tu volessi usare LED da 3mm non c'è bisogno di eseguire nessuna modifica, poiché sono identici a quelli da 5mm a parte nel formato. Per i LED SMD idem, salvo che non siano specificati dal costruttore voltaggi di esercizio più bassi per quei LED. In quel caso dovrebbe bastare sostituire la resistenza da 470Ω con una da 560Ω e le due da 330Ω con due da 470Ω - Lascio anche la traduzione in inglese della risposta per chiunque legga i commenti :)

If you want to use 3mm LEDs there is no need to make any modifications, as they are identical to the 5mm ones apart in size. For SMD LEDs is the same, unless specified by the manufacturer, lower operating voltages for those LEDs. In that case it should be enough to replace the 470Ω resistor with one of 560Ω and the two of 330Ω with two of 470Ω
