Hi, I want to try it in my 28 f.28, 35 f1.4, 50 f1.4, 85 f145 and 135 f2.8. Is it recommendable on 1.4 lens or from how I see better 2.8 lens? it is so much information that I am getting lost
I have a set of Cinemoded Zeiss Classics and I've been thinking about adding an oval insert for a specific big project coming up. Have you ever added an oval insert to a Zeiss classic? Do you have any advice?
Great video man, Between the 28mm, 25mm, and 21mm, which of these would be the most budget friendly? Im on a GH5 and am looking for a Zeiss with a 30 to 40mm ff equivalent with a speed booster, so i have my eyes on these three but with all the different versions, I'm a bit confused. Which of the three and also AE and MMJ models would be the lowest in price? And which of the three would you recommend. Thank brother. Edit: Also, my bro, do you ever shoot with Nikkor Ai, Ais or non Ais? If so, could you make a tutorial on anamorfaking them?
Thanks! The 28 is the cheapest. The 25 is the middle one and the 21mm is always expensive, and I never opened mine. AE models are always cheaper than MM, and if you're modifying them like this, the main issue with AE (ninja star aperture) disappears behind the oval insert. Never used Nikkors, I can't get over the reverse focus ring! hahaha. If I ever get around to it, you'll see the videos showing up here! :)
@@AnamorphicOnABudget Got it, so 28mm AE version would be the cheapest, thanks man! I still cant over how nice your talking heads are, i really want to pick up the S1H and a rokinon 35mm just to replicate it haha. Hopefully i can get close with my GH5 and save some cash LOL another question, 1 light set up? are you just lighting yourself with a giant softbox to your left?
You greatly improved the quality of your videos, what camera do you use and what lens did you use to record yourself in this video.
Thank you! I used the Lumix S1H and modified Rokinon 35mm for the talking head in all of this series.
Am I understanding correctly that this is mostly a mod for the bokeh/flares? Or does this do anything for the actual width of image/fov?
Correct, there's no change to field of view, squeeze, etc.
I wonder if i could convert a 24-70 canon EF to panaonic Lmount
Do the same for Canon FD please :)

Are you planning to make a video on the Moment anamorphic adapter? No one could do it better 🙌🏻😉
Your description still says Samyang/Rokinon
Fixed! Thank you!

Thank you! Yeah, one big softbox, then another very dim soft light from up top, right at the table (see the c-stand on the left). :)
