My wife used this flight in late November 2023 out of SFO and came back end of December. She was happy with the on board service from the flight attendants and we were both highly satisfied with the efficiency of the counter service. She will be flying again end of this year and will use United Airlines.
I flew this route a couple weeks ago. Noticed the route was directly straight across. When I went it was straight up north and rounded then down into Manila. I wonder why? Maybe because so many flights in the air Polaris was nice from the food to the service and overall wxperience. Do you recall your exact flight time ???
I want to see other UA hub airports have direct Manila flights once the New Manila International Airport opens. The 777-300ER does NOT have the range capable of handling direct Dulles flights to the Philippines. It would need to be an A350, 777-8, or 787-9 as those planes have the range to handle Dulles-Manila non-stop. I think the 777-300ER and 777-9 can handle the direct Denver-Manila flight.
You are correct but the B777-300/ER UA B777-322/ER can make EWR-MNL because it's the same distance as a Non-Stop JFK-MNL PR127 when a B777-3F6/ER is used.
@@EpicThe112 A friend who visited his daughter in NJ twice said PAL used A350 on both occasions: PR126 to JFK and PR127 to MNL. In any case, we're both hoping United Airlines opens up a direct flight between EWR and MNL in the future.
@titob.yotokojr.9337 you are correct on that however Filipino United Airlines Mileage Plus members that used to have Continental Airlines one pass accounts would still do Singapore Airlines 21 to 918 back to MNL since that can go below UA EWR-MNL price. The Lowest that Singapore Airlines offers on EWR-MNL via SIN is $863 which is going to be half the price of United or Philippine Airlines JFK/EWR-MNL.
I do want to see Philippine Airlines at the Washington Dulles International Airport with one of their Airbus A350s as the range is there for it. While I want to see non-stop DC-Manila flights most likely on Philippine Airlines on an Airbus A350, this flight is more likely expected to use the New Manila International Airport instead of NAIA.
I hope United Airlines and Philippine Airlines will reciprocate one click purchase Coach and Business Class ZED Super Low Fares between each other. It's not the codeshare nor the alliance that allows for Business Class ZED, but individual airlines willing to exchange agreements between each other.
Mostly decent video, thanks. FYI if you want to get a better response you should probably expand your food/beverage sections and include menus and wine lists from the plane and lounge. Cheers!
Coach, Plus, Premium or Business Class. United Airlines. Thank you for making US mainland to Manila Philippines direct possible. Now I can make an even easier connection via Cebu Pacific across Philippines and other parts of Asia/Pacific. United Airlines thank you for reciprocating Business Class ZED employee standby towards other airlines in which causes other interline carriers to reciprocate ZED business class back towards United Airlines staff/retirees.
I haven't flown SFO-MNL, but I flew SFO-SIN and it was disappointing. No where near as good as most Asian airlines. They even ran out of their cheap champagne early in the flight. Seriously? Hopefully they're more competitive with their service on this route.
horrible service I avoid United I hate when they serve everything on one tray by the way do they offered hot towel and snack and drink before main meal?
American Airlines and Delta Airlines will never exchange Business Class ZED with other airlines therefore American Airlines and Delta Airlines staff/retirees won't be able to fly Business Class on a ZED ticket like United, Alaska, Hawaiian, Jetblue, Aeromexico, Qantas, Cathay, Avianca, Air Canada, Lufthansa Group, SAS, LOT Polish Airlines and so much more.
Sadly this United Airlines flight still loses out to its 5 star East Asian partners SQ🇸🇬 BR🇹🇼 NH🇯🇵 OZ🇰🇷. Which also explains why Filipinos in the San Francisco Bay Area choose the East Asian partners because they offer a better service than UA191. Some of them like SQ🇸🇬 BR🇹🇼 OZ🇰🇷 fly directly to CEB from SIN TPE ICN In some cases the plane for UA191 will come from the Eastern Time Zone EWR Terminal C and IAD Concourse B-D. If it came from EWR Terminal C that competes with two PR flights PR127 JFK-MNL and PR105/115 SFO-MNL. Keep in mind the plane will still retain its East Coast Pilots however they will be doing the Pacific Crossing while the San Francisco crew take over from the two Terminal C Newark Airport Pilots once they are 4 hrs with in MNL.

Enjoyed the video, thanks! Hope UA opens up more direct flights to Manila from other parts of the U.S.
Good to see the improvements in US carriers. This looked like a solid product.
For sure!!! Definitely much more polished than AA at least!
Very nice and I for one love flying Polaris. Great review thank you.
Thank You!!!
We are flying UA in 2 weeks same route and class. First time in UA. Your information is very reassuring of UA. Thanks.

Fantastic and just in time for the Summer Olympics to Paris.
5:13 N = November. Nice to see UA has such a quality product.
Gotcha thanks!!! And for sure! Can’t wait to fly with them again!
I'm glad for the improvement buy United I don't know what happened to Philippine airlines😊
PAL is also way cheaper..

Interesting!

how long did turbulence last?
Probably around 20-30 minutes?

Can you tell me how much it cost you to fly business class -united airlines and Phil airlines! EVA air is very expensive
It's hit or miss with United Polaris, you were lucky....
What an INSANE lounge🔥
I love the work with me part! more content pls!!
Thank You!!!

I liked your video.
Finally a US carrier that improves, I have been flying Asian Airlines for three decades and they are UNBEATABLE
Mostly decent video, thanks. FYI if you want to get a better response you should probably expand your food/beverage sections and include menus and wine lists from the plane and lounge. Cheers!
Thanks for the feedback!!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yes friend but I am sure that UA is more expensive than PA
When’s the next post? 😮
Maybe soon?
I’ll look forward to it!

It seems like the listen to ATC feature never works 😢
Unfortunately 🥲
hope to meet you in my future Flights ✈️✈️✈️
Thanks for the support! 😀
That’s the wrong amenity they gave yall. I got that when i flew on premium plus. Polaris gets a belt bag
Dang didn’t know that - thanks for the heads up!!! Looking forward to getting the better amenity kit once I fly with UA again!
That’s what I thought too. UA Business Class gives the Away amenity kit
@@Riezanesz UA actually switched companies with Therabody. I loved the Away ones they had, but discontinued it last summer.
Thank you United Airlines!!! Sick and tired of Philippine Airlines lousy service on direct flights.
Arte mo wag ka na ring magpunta ng Pinas
Philippine Airlines is definitely waiting for their new A350-1000s that will replace all their old 777-300ERs
terrible business class service on my flight SFO-MNL 2/8/24!!!! meals were like on economy, Pal way better and exceptional service
horrible service I avoid United I hate when they serve everything on one tray by the way do they offered hot towel and snack and drink before main meal?

Sorry dude, that would be (N)ovember not whatever you said.
The lounge at SF looks like a sleeper train in Europe.
oooo
Friends, don't let friends fly Philippine Airlines.
PEE loff..... Not palof.
Dual is suck Philippines airliner is better service and food and flight crew so cute
'Stay-tus', not 'Stah-tus'. Just saying.
The food onboard looks disgusting
Looking forward taking this flight soon ✈️
