The SIMPLEST Distortion Circuit (that I know of)

Today, we're taking the idea of a simple distortion farther with this LM386 based distortion/amplifier. Not only does this ball of grit have a single knob but it also requires just "3" components to get some real deal solid state distortion. This pedal wasn't just born for the pedal board either, it has the ability to be run as the amplifier through a cabinet!

A bazz fuss is simpler than your version with the filtering but still has two more components than the original three component version.
