These pods tend to brew with more water because of their size so I think its best you use something to cool down the coffee without watering it down such as the Hyper Chiller or Reusable Ice. Loved the video 💕. I have all three of the items that you mentioned (Hyper Chiller, reusable ice cubes and the glass shaker) and I love them. Thank you so much for this tips on getting the cold coffee without a ton of ice! I’ve had my nespresso vertuo machine for about a month. And I was testing different pods to find my favorite and a handful tasted so watered down and I thought it was my machine! I was disappointed because I couldn’t find one that tasted like my favorite coffee shops. But I didn’t know that certain pods require alot of water! Thank you so much for your insight I’m going to play around more and keep testing till I get my favorite pod! 🥰

Girl! I enjoyed this video so much. I learned a lot. I just finished a double iced iL Caffe‘. I placed the coffee in the freezer for 2 min, added 2 oz cold water, 4 oz international delight zero sugar caramel macchiato, and a bunch of ice cubes. It was so delicious. I wanted another one. I made it in my vertuo machine. Thank you for sharing your experiences 🤗

What I do for iced brewed coffee pods is just hit the button to stop the pod 2/3 of the way through the brewing process. It still tastes perfectly extracted and doesn’t get over-watery when chilled with ice.

I really love the decaf pod for iced coffee. I brew mine first thing in the morning and leave it in my freezer while I get ready for the day and have it as a mid afternoon treat (the brumate champagne flute is the perfect size for the liquid w milk and I add ice to a glass).

So far I really like the Columbia and the Hazelino iced. Super yummy and perfect for the hot weather here in Texas! I haven’t tried the blue iced pods yet, but they’re next on my list. I use regular coffee mate creamer and it is delicious 🤤

For full size, Stormio is one of my faves. Definitely going to try the Bianco Forte iced though because I don't tend to love it either! Half caffeine is AWESOME iced. Love!

Your words on the coconut pod being lightly flavored were spot on. I think I was expecting too much. I tried it with a white chocolate raspberry creamer and it was pretty good but I’ll have to try it hot.

My go to iced pod is the half caff - it tastes so good and half the caffeine means i can have two a few hours apart 😂 im in the UK and love your videos by the way - I had a Vertuo but your videos made me buy an Essenza Mini and i love it!

I have been thinking about getting some iced coffee gear, but my current solution is to brew my morning cup and afternoon cup in the morning - drink one and put the other in the fridge. It’s cold by the time I want to drink it. This works as long as I know which pod I might want later in the day. 😉

Also i hope you do a review of the new forest flavors for vertuo! The almond flavor is the only one i’m excited about, i have the same coffee flavor pallet as you (cereally, malty, toasted etc) so i feel like i trust all of your reviews without even trying them. I haven’t been able to make any coffee pods that I liked cold. I will try some tips I learned from you today. My favorite is Chiaro espresso, frothed milk, condensed milk and ice. I top with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. It tastes like the Starbucks mocha iced coffee to me.

I mainly use Creme brûlée with any caramel pods and the Mexican mocha with the Mexico pod

I Love the coconut pod. I went to the store as soon as my pods came in to find the chobani flip creamer, I was so sad I couldn't find it but I got the International delight almond joy cream, omg I love it that way, k can't get enough. I've been really disappointed in the chocolate pods. Chocolate is my favorite flavor for coffee, I love mochas. I'm going to try the cinnamon bun syrup to see if I can redeem it. I was so sad about that chocolate pods.

Have you tried the Peru Organic pod? I know it’s an espresso pod but it is sooo good! I picked it up on a whim and now it’s one of my favorites.

Yes I think that’s a perfect size if you add a lot of milk to your pods like I sometimes do
I just make my first iced coconut today and i used a 30oz mason jar since i like a lot of ice, 7.7 ounce pd, 4oz frothed milk, 2 tbsp syrup and a splash of sweet cream creamer. Heaven!
I found all the different flavors of the Chobani creamer at my local Meijer’s.

I mention it in this video saying it really good. I t pairs well with just about anything but my favorite is with Monin French vanilla syrup
I finally tried the Bianco Forte iced and I like it much better that way but I still had to let the ice melt down in it a bit. I probably wont buy it again though. I recently tried Brown Sugar oat milk creamer by Coffeemate...oh em gee it is amazing! You have to try it. I froth it and put it over my iced coffee to make a mock Starbucks brown sugar drink only mine tastes way better than when I buy it at Starbucks lol.

I didn’t like the coconut pod and a Nespresso store associate recommended me to try it with a snickers creamer from coffee mate and said it turned into almond joy 😂 Haven’t tried yet but i will soon 😏

I agree with you on the chocolate fudge pod! The aftertaste was horrible! I kept thinking it tasted like a bitter dark beer...YUCK! Never getting that one again. 🤢🤮

I add my chocolate protein powder and it makes it taste so much better.

I love the iced forte! It’s meant to be brewed directly over ice so the pod literally needs to be watered down. The next time you try it, you may like it better!

No because those pods are coffee pods and not espresso pods. You’ll need to use an espresso pod and maybe use vanilla or caramel syrups for the flavor

The only way I’ve made the coconut work for me is with almond syrup. Just a traditional iced latte with a couple splashes of almond. I’ve been calling it a wedding cake latte. I’m going to experiment with the chocolate fudge. I tried it for the first time yesterday and was so disappointed. For lack of better description, it tasted like juice from the bottom of the trash can 😳. I’m going to play around with it!

Does the reusable ice have a funky plastic taste? The last time I bought a set of reusable ice, it had a nasty plastic taste to any and every drink so it deterred me from buying them again. I wish the hyper chiller was smaller instead of being so bulky, considering I live in an apartment and apartment complexes have small fridges :(

@@_Alexmojica i had never heard of monin before watching you i ordered a sampler from amazon. love the vanilla and caramel, didnt care for irish cream at all, the amaretto is just ok wouldnt order again and will be tasting hazelnut tomorrow. i really like the vanilla but cant decide if i should try french vanilla? not sure of the difference if any. the caramel is amazingggggggggg
The other way to make an iced coffee is to stop the coffee short to about 5 oz , then you can poor the ice over it. When it’s short it’s a little stronger so the capsule doesn’t get diluted.
I’ve done that as well! But mainly because some cups are too small so I’ll stop the machine so it fits 😄
