Yes! The double espresso chiaro is AMAZING in the brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso! It’s my go to! Surprisingly, the la cumplida refinada is amazing in that drink as well so I’ve been going between the two!

I just got the machine yesterday and this morning I tried the espresso chiaro and it’s so weak😭I think I’m going to order: Double espresso scuro (my sampler didnt bring it), Altissio (I liked it but can’t put that much milk). About to watch your video to see if there’s any other ones I should order.

I’m new to your channel. I have tried ice leggero with almond milk with vanilla for the first time and I loved it. And I’m not usually an iced coffee person and usually like my coffee hot but I really liked it.

Yeah there are tons of great pods out there!
Another way to help make your drinks creamy is mixing some heavy cream with your milk! And that way you can still add whatever flavor syrup you want instead of having to stick to the flavor from the creamer (i hope that makes sense😅)

I really like how it’s cheaper for the vertuo line when buying double espresso pods instead of always using 2 pods in the OL. Loved the tips though 👍🏽!
Yeah that’s a hood point, the only time it’s cheaper is when you use the Vertuo single iced pods and want two shots then it’s cheaper in original line

So I love vanilla iced lattes, or any other lattes. I had got a keurig Cafe. Doesn't give me the crema at all. So just bought a nespresso vertuoplus! Excited for it to come in!!

Another great video!! Through watching your videos, you have taught me how to drink the capsules. I had written so many off ( I’ve tried Several of them)... because they were too strong... but after watching your videos, I now know how to adjust them to drink and now, there’s really none of them ( that I have) that I don’t like! Just have to fix them a bit different. Thank you😘
*edited to add- I LOVE the Scuro... but I too have to mix it with a cup of almond Milk and about 2 tablespoons of half and half. ( with some sweetener) and it’s so good! But the creamy half and half definitely makes the difference.

It depends on your taste but the barista series are good to start just let the coffee cool down a bit or use the hyper chiller so it’s not watered down since those pods already brew with more water

thanks again, great info. i didnt understand what a lungo pod was until now. need to get some. i purchased the iced chiller today, waiting on my order. is there a reason why you dont always use with the iced drinks? i want to avoid watering down my drinks...does the chiller take a lot of time?
I just think that the double espresso pods don't taste watered down so I don't find it necessary but other than that you can use it every single time if you prefer no watering down at all! Its super easy and quick to use.

ARONDIO is le best for iced coffee yummm 100 % recommend. Tastes like bianco leggero in my opinion

I’m a big fan of bianco leggero and ice leggero! They are great. I have a question though. Does your ice melt if you brew directly over ice one of the regular vertuo pods instead of an ice leggero pod? I find that I have to brew and set it in the refrigerator to cool before I add ice.
I brew it over ice and it does melt a bit but doesn’t bother me. I also sometimes use the hyperchiller I reviewed but only when I use the big coffee pods
Sucro from the vertuo line pairs well with chocolate/cocoa. I make a mocha latte with it. It also pairs well with pumpkin syrup purée. Either than that I don’t like it. On its own it’s very tabaco tasting. Maybe men who smoke cigars might like it, but honestly it’s not good plain or with milk alone. You need something strong to balance it out.

I have to dilute that scuro down with 1.5 cups of almond milk AND creamer. It's good but a lil too bitter for me.
I love it iced for that reasons because the ice will water it down a bit and it’s perfect

Scuro on Ice all the way!! RIch, dark flavour even on ice without diluting it!! High caffeine.
A Fast, high caffeine, great tasting coffee for a frequently demanding grump!!
Ok but just because it’s a dark roast does not mean it’s high in caffeine.
I have both OL and VL. I’m looking to purchase the Freddo Delicato and Intenso. The Delicato is supposedly VERY fruity. What syrup do you recommend with this capsule for an iced latte? Have you used or tried any fruity flavored syrups and if so which brand do you recommend?
I’ve tried raspberry syrup from Torani a while ago and loved it maybe that will pair well. I haven’t tried fruity with that pod I’ve only done the classic flavors, it doesn’t really have a strong fruity so anything will work in my opinion

How much milk do you use for a ice latte, I got my Nespresso a few days ago and I think I used too much milk because the coffee was very watered down and I used the double espresso chiaro pod
Usually always a half cup for all of them, sometimes less depending on their strength

i always go to Nespresso.com and they state them on there
The pods that are not double, the ones that are 1.35- do you just double them up or do you have to do two of them?
I use two of them because otherwise if I run a single pod twice the second time around is always watery
Have they changed the intensity levels? I got the double espresso chiaro and it says intensity 8 not 6 and the double espresso scuro says intensity 11??

You should try white chocolate or creme de cacao or dark chocolate with the scuro since cacao is a note. Maybe it will make it taste better even caramel can bring out the notes

Not for me but that’s personal preference

Use your 14 oz pods and stop the machine just when you feel it’s enough. You just press the button when you want the machine to stop. Watch my tips and tricks video to see how that works 😋

I don’t think the iced leggero is “light”
I know that’s what they say it is but I think it tastes like a good medium and I like a strong coffee taste but I sometimes add a little water to it. I’m having such an issue finding a good frothing creamer that’s not so sweet and not dairy. I love to use creamer but man it makes my coffee too sweet and too much dairy milk kills my belly
Almond milk froths like a dream but it’s not nearly as creamy as other types of milks so you can always mix it with half and half or Oatmilk maybe
@@_Alexmojica so that’s the thing. I use almond milk for everything except my coffee lol but I’m surprised that it froths so we’ll. It makes me nauseous. However I just got the almond milk creamer and it’s good but so sweet.

It is sweetened so that’s the only bad thing but it’s super creamy, doesn’t froth well though
Coffee mate makes a brown sugar oatmilk creamer and it’s delicious!! I mix it with plain oatly oatmilk to make it less sweet. The barista version oatly is the best to froth but the plain blue version works pretty well and my daily go to ☺️.. I promise you will not disappointed if you don’t like super sweet coffee like me🥰

I absolutely hate bitter strong coffee… I only drink it for the caffeine - a cup of tea isn’t enough. I like the voltesso capsules that’s 2nd the mildest one I’ve tried (orafio is the mildest but very watery where as voltesso isn’t) stick some milk in my aerocino 4 to foam, Chuck a few ice cubes in a glass dump the foam over top a bit of Monin vanilla then I let my machine work the voltesso capsule into a cup with sweetener (5 little sweetners - I like sweet coffee no bitter tangy coffee) then mix the coffee with a spoon and pour that over the iced milk in the glass. Bobs your uncle mild iced coffee also works well with melozio (but I only use a bit of the coffee so I maybe have 2-3 iced coffees with that because it’s really bitter and strong)
I have a dilemma. My first Vertuo plus recently broke. I did order another machine with their 35% off offer. Well, the crema is almost non-existent. I called Nespresso back, we made 10 capsules of coffee/espresso. Still with very little crema. I thought you had the same problem with the crema too. What finally worked for you? I do have now, 27 days to return it for a refund.
It was my creatista, the more I used it the better the Crema got. They are different machines though
