Today is the Twenty-seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time; in the gospel, Jesus is asked about divorce by his listeners.
And Jesus tells them: It is “because of the hardness of your hearts” that Moses “wrote you [the said] commandment.” To Jesus, a man and a woman, in marriage, are joined by God, making them one flesh; and so “what God has joined together, no human being must separate.” We could go on and on about the reasons why one would like to divorce from the other, but perhaps we could also consider that “hardness of hearts” also refers to, on one hand, our unwillingness to admit our mistake, to seek forgiveness for it, and to commit to reforming ourselves. And, on the other hand, to extend another chance for the other to change.
Jesus concludes his discourse by welcoming children, saying: “Whoever does not accept the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it.” If we look at marriage as a sign of God’s kingdom, how could we accept it as children would? Well, brothers and sisters, a child always has an open heart. Let us learn from the children. Husbands, wives and children can grow in their humanity by being together.

Thank Heavens for traditional values. Yeshua's definition of marriage is ONE man and ONE woman. Nothing more, nothing less, nothing different. Last time I checked, divorce is difficult if not impossible in the Ph.
Nowadays the world adheres to accepting and approving divorce thereby committing the original sin; disobedience against the proscription of their creator

The word proclaimed that anyone who are human enough as to love father, mother,sisters and brothers more than me,the word that was God, and do not act as a child but as wise and learned is not worthy of me

A child like mind and heart is not impressed with old tradition like sinulog and other various offerings like the tv healing Maas. A child like mind and heart is open or willing to observe all His commandments
Becoming human in covenant relationship is the word of the wise and learned and the gifted not that of one with the innocence of the child who can readily accept the word was God
Why October 29?
What did you say " becoming human in covenant relationship? Will Jesus not exclaimed again what he exclaimed to Cleopas thus "Oh how foolish you are "?
"And the word was made flesh" "Becoming hunan in covenant relationship" is not the word that was made flesh.
"Becoming human in covenant relationship" does not expose the word of the lord.
"Becoming human in covenant relationship" is greek or meaningless even to college graduates.
"Becoming human in covenant relationship" makes the word of the lord a demon in the same manner that the "Magandang ginawa niya mabuting kanin kinain Ng tao bakit kinondena Ang tao? Estupido talagang ginoong Yan" make the word of the lord regarding the original sin a demon.
